She actually got the back injury from shooting a scene in Jackie Brown where a pistol was accidentally loaded with live rounds. She sued Robert DeNiro and lost.... so then was shot a third time which caused excessive weight gain and frumpyness.
Like Samuel L Jackson said told Robert De Niro in Jackie brown......
