I still have my s23 ultra and haven't touched it at all since I've got my fold 5. I'm gonna use a folding phone going forward regardless of cameras.
The z fold 5 is in a league of its own. They are both great phones.

Best thing about samsung is multi tasking with 2 or more apps open at same time and dex which iPhone has neither samsung is top notch with customization to your device

The only one thing I'd say is that, I think, in the UK at least, the iPhone 15 still has a physical SIM tray and if it didn't, I wouldn't even contemplate updating. Rather 'interested' in the Sammy - I've had them before so comfortable with the OS but kind of stuck in Apple eco system right now - I could escape but ..... hmmm, decisions decisions!
Sim slots depends on where you live. Canada has a sim slot. Europe too I believe

As someone who own both iPhone 13 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, iPhone only good as camera phone and social media device. Other than that, pretty much boring candybar phone. SD 8 Gen 2 a little bit slower than A15 Bionic in single core performance but Z Fold 5 can fully utilise the CPU/GPU when needed. Unlike iOS, multitasking kinda limited and NO BACKGROUND app activity allowed. Thus, making iOS multitasking pointless..
Call of duty on the fold is mind blowing! Games in general. Just sick! I get the hype now!

I use my fold while at home, but away from home it's iphone all the way. The folds are great for browsing and content consumption. It just struggles with battery life compared to the iphone. The cameras aren't bad but not as good as iphone. Dex seems like a good idea, but I don't ever use it, nor do I use a stylus. So it's basically a tablet in my use case. Probably won't buy another fold once this one barfs

The s23 ultra and z fold are way better and with features like the programmable side key and gaming ,samsung has been able to do those things for years as well as USB C. I have the s23 ultra and it's the best phone ive ever used. Also the s23 ultra has dynamic island, multi tasking , s pen capabilities and emulators w with more games, and 10 x zoom with full clarity etc. However, I just used the 15 pro max today and the camera is impressive and it's very light but still my s23 ultra is more fun to use and also more capabilities and just wait until the z fold 6 ultra is released next year
Also with the iphone It can't really multi task, use copy and paste clipboard, run emulators for old school games and new games , use s pen stylus functionality with gestures , download anything from anywhere at anytime, use smart view projection nor anything like DEX projection , wireless powershare which comes in handy when you forget charger , similar charging speeds. Also on ios 17 reaching the control center is harder then my old iPhone 6s and you can't really customize the navigation method to shapes like samsung which isn't necessarily for me . For me I'm a samsung guy but I'll say this iphone 15 pro I give the camera clarity props after testing it but Samsung once I experienced those features I can't live without them

@@RedShadow166 The case I use doesn't have it and I dropped it multiple times and never scratched my hinge but it doesn't hurt to get a case that does have it if you're that concerned but again the case I use has protected me very very well throughout years
The fold is extraordinary and d we definitely next level. The iphone feels ancient compared to it.
Once you go fold you dont go back!
Im an Apple guy but i have owned 3 galaxy phones i received a 1380.00 trade in for my Apple iphone 13 pro for the new Samsung Galaxy z 5 fold plus i still have a apple iphoe 11 pro max that i revived 1 year free phone service for buying the fold 5

It has been reported that playing AAA games on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not a good idea. Temps. of over 100° are being reported. That is not good for the battery long-term.

I'm switching to iphone from the fold 4. I will miss the big screen but iphone has longevity, maintains its value more than samsung, more durable. Friends i know who've the fold have traded in their folds for candy bar phones. The fold just isn’t durable enough. Battery life and cameras just arent as good as the iphone.
If I compare the s23 ultra vs the iphone 14 pro max, both are neck to neck but iphone will still have a higher second hand retail value than samsung.

@@nguyenuckhang8663 I have had the Samsung galaxy fold for close to a month now , and I do miss my iPhone for these reasons. I use Apple email as my primary email account, I carry iPad Pro with me at all times so I can retrieve my email, you can not setup Apple email on android but you can setup gmail on the iPhone. I also send an receive money via Apple Cash on my iPhone again I have to use my iPad. I had to jump through some hoops to setup google pay on the Samsung. I use Apple one, mainly for the music again, iPad to the rescue. For me I would be lost without access to my Apple features. The pros about the galaxy z fold is the larger screen, if needed which I use maybe 10-20% of the time. The camera features, are great a lot of features, but can be overwhelming for some with so many customization features, cam be a plus for some and a nightmare for others. I would say if you are use to using Apple stay with the iPhone and if you are a galaxy user then you will definitely like the new features.
