Thanks! Can't believe it exists as a feature even. If you want to collab with people there are many ways to do so, allowing practically everyone and their mom to request it constantly is not one of the ways you should do so.
Didn't even know of the feature until a friend of mine told me. The fact that this isn't some big thing blocking your entire twitch page when you launch it to announce it is there is wild. Imagine not knowing this feature even exists and random people troll / harass you. Not exactly a recipe for a good stream.
Edit: Not to mention I have heard that it automatically turns on your camera if you knock / accept a knock. Which is highly inappropriate. You should get to decide if your camera is on or not, not Twitch doing it for you and forcing it on when you might not want to use a camera right now, or at all.

THANK YOU! seriously I got bombed by Vtuber haters so hard the DAY this shit was added & that's odd when the CREATOR of this feature is a Vtuber... haven't streamed since cause I was trying to turn this shit off.

@@OwenAeon indeed & Evil toadster came up with this feature & as a result got his horrid behavior & dirty laundry because he doesn't know what NO means, even when he gets shot down by Zentraya. & they let him design n intrusive POS feature like this.
just saying IF i collabbing I'm doing so with friends & if ever invited by one a member of Vshojo.

Thanks for the video! While I can see this being a useful feature in SOME ways - that's all it is. It's a VERY circumstantial feature. Even with my trusted streamer friends, I'd rather plan things in advance to stream together versus just have them pop in randomly. Thanks for showing how to disable this annoying feature.

I genuinely think this feature came from good intentions from some intelligent folks at Twitch, it's just the fact that there was a decision at some level to make it on by default and then BURIED the settings is what is so infuriating.

I didn't see the Collab panel when I checked but I'm also tiny to not streamer(haven't streamed actively in a year). So I wonder if you need to be like affiliate to get knocks, or maybe they pulled back the feature?
