It's wild to me 3000 Streamers responded to my poll, and 70% of them have never even heard of this feature. Twitch has a serious education issue, or potentially communication, and I hope this video helps you not just learn about new features, but figure out how you can use them to make better content.
@@crimsonweeb3967 I cut it out but I had a small segment how I leaked the URL oh no! But I can just click this regenerate button and all the URLS change and are private again. :)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! As a vtuber, having clear and understandable instructions helps me feel SO SO SO much more comfortable using this feature. I'm now so excited to try it out with my friends 🎉
I’ve been watching your videos to start part time twitch streaming/ recording youtube videos for a few weeks now. I have to say you have been the most helpful and best in explaining what to expect. Thank you for making these helpful videos and talking about your experience!
A cool feature, as I understand it, but it lacks an important (in my opinion) option to avoid splitting the chat. Because I might be in a co-op game where messages to the streamer should remain private. For example, I’m playing a game like Among Us, and one of my viewers writes something about my role or generally points out something that only I should see, but it gets immediately shared with everyone.
found a lot of issues with it like Gain button getting stuck and unable to turn it on ( thus cutting mic audio off on and making it choppy when disabled and unable to reactivate it), and found the noise suppression to be one of the worst it even picks up room sounds, breathing, etc that even OBS can limit, especially with Mic that dont have Hardware set up to edit on a switch board and control theirs over default mic like X Pro LG Mic
Great video! So the "Desktop Audio Capture" says, "mute browser sources." Does this mean that if I set up StreamTogether with the that audio setup I need to mute, for example, my Sound Alerts browser source? Or any other sounds coming from StreamElements? And if I don't I'm assuming that those sounds get sent through to my collaborator's stream as well?
My friends I played around with this before using NDI bridging. This feature is absolutely amazing for us and so much easier. The only thing is I wish we could have a way to combine our chats at least for us to only keep up with 1 chat as an option. It sucks that one of my viewers sees and hears my buddy on stream and has to go to his stream to ask a question or I have to relay it through the mic.
You can probably use Stream Elements Multi Channel Chat for Twitch, and make it Custom Browser Dock for yourself. Or just show it in the overlay as intended
It would be nice for Streamlabs Desktop to also have a feature where you can choose your camera SCENE so the Virtual Webcam is only your facecam and not what you are livestreaming to Twitch. It would also be nice for Twitch to have a checkbox in the Camera settings of the Stream Together panel where you can flip your camera because my virtual camera is now mirrored.
@Itsbambinovalentino you're totally right bro ! Few days ago, while playing on bo6, one guy, with a different language than mine just subbed out of nowhere. I was shocked ahah
Well think about it. Squad streaming was a thing and only for partners. Stream together is basically that without twitch having to use more bandwith or resources to support different resolution on one page. Sure you can have your collab cam on your stream but not everyone uses webcam and setting up a whole audio thing seem to only be use for their webcam to not have any delay on your stream. So there no point in using the audio and webcam if both party don't use webcam. And discord is already being use. Most people tend to like the shared chat, combine viewership, and the ability to see who they are collaborating with when hovering over the streamer icon under the following or discover tab.
The one time I tried this feature it made mine and all my friends pcs games feel horrible. We all have decently high end pcs so not sure if we did something wrong or what the problem was. Right now as it stands it seems like it's a better use case for podcasting streams or just chatting streams or for someone who has a dual PC setup. Again not sure if we did something wrong but for now it seems like it is a very niche use case based on my experience.
Do you guys use Streamlabs? Apparently, streamlabs doesn’t work with it. Otherwise, the majority of people with mid level PCs can use it fine when they set the performance properly As you can see, I had four people in it and we were live and gaming, no issues
I love it! I understand the fear, but a lot of it is from streamers that wanted more collab and discoverability options. They provide one and they don't use it.
Hey my dude, I hope you see this. I'm interesting in getting into the world of streaming and content creation. I'm a bit turned off by my age though, I'm in my 30s and I feel like I'm a bit late to get into this wagon. Should I or should I not even try?
I'v just started streaming and i'm 41. I did try before when i was younger but didnt really have the time, now i have found myself with time to dedicate to it. Age is just a number its how you approach it that counts
Made by Streamlabs so it’s a 2/10 and just makes OBS worse I used to value the company but it’s gone rapidly down hill, and will always recommend creators ditch anything Streamlabs these days. Hope they fix themselves up though.
I pretty much only use the "Stream Together" feature to let it display that I am streaming with someone else. And I am not really sure how that fully works.
Entirely based on browser sources so it can work in almost any software. Streamlabs might just be laggy and slow due to their software being designed badly
but it is not possible for two people to play the same game, for example Mario Kart or League of Legends. And you can switch between the two screens, right?
Same answer as almost anything for streaming, if it’s direct from console you’re probably screwed. The console makers just don’t allow the tools to work for you.
