It feels like you are trapped in another dimension or like a video game and every object your eyes arent focused on will seem blurry and look slow motion and the person or object you focus on looks like a hologram
You know you're really high when you start seeing things in slow motion!
Sunny Stephen that’s more of having too much adrenaline rush through your body,usually during a panic attack. This is a fight or flight mechanism because when things are in slow motion you have more time to think of what to do, let’s say when a grizzly bear is coming straight at you.

It’s always the damn edibles. My freshman year of College, I had never smoked or taken any edibles, and I never did any research or anything, but I was open to trying marijuana. So a friend of mine gave me a huge chunk of a brownie. Long story short, I had the worst panic attack in my life. Tunnel vision, couldn’t open my eyes sometimes, I thought I was stuck in time, and I kept saying “my heart is beating way too fast for my body”. People were screaming at me to shut up because I was apparently crying or being loud? (Hardly remember) Anyways, everyone ran out, I was left alone, called 911.. was high for like the longest time. (Ate piece of brownie around like 10pm and didn’t feel “fine” until like noon of the next day). Moral of the story kids: never try something especially marijuana or any other substance without doing your research first.

TIPS FOR BAD HIGH:
1. if you just feel alittle strange and off put, try and put on a TV show or movie you like but don't watch often. Sometimes when ur high a comfort show might feel off or different and cause it to get worse
2. Drink water and breath in through your nose out through ur mouth
3. Call someone you love and trust and tell them ur situation, saying it out loud to a loved one can help ease the spiraling thoughts.
4. Ice works as a great distraction for panic attacks.
5. If it's really bad and u need it to stop right then, set out to do a task like refilling a water bottle and keep doing tasks untill you forget why you were doing them in the first place and you will feel better
6. BE KIND TO YOURSELF! TALK TO URSELF AS IF UR A FRAGILE CHILD WHO NEEDS TO CALM DOWN ITS OKAY TO TREAT URSELF WITH KINDNESS

That's why I always have a chaser when I smoke. Still end up throwing up somtimes.
Whenever I get into a bad trip I have to remember that your high is influenced by your attitude and those around you. So I always make sure to surround myself with positive, fun, and reliable people, and if I start to feel panicky I just tell myself to relax, I’m having a good time and then put on some music.

By scary I think they meant how they didn’t have a good high, more of a paranoid and scary high. Trust, we’ve all been there and done that
Honestly, idk how they are either. Still enjoyed them but like... Also, I've had some bad experiences, one my dog got worried for me when I was pacing in my living room from 10 pm to 1 am paranoid, and another I took 2 edibles with a LOT of THC in them and had echo vision, threw up, and had to focus on my breathing or else I wouldn't breathe. Felt that high from about 4 pm to about 11 am the next day. Not fun.

My high horror story (short version):
I was at school, I overdid it on the edibles because they were tasty. Lunch time comes, my friend says I'll definitely feel it by next period. I DEFINITELY felt it by next period.
My other friend had to walk me outside to get fresh air during class, I started verbally explaining my will (didn't have much to offer, my computer would go to my cousin).
Got back in class, my legs started melting. I realized my legs weren't melting I just spilled water on my lap.
I slept like a baby the next period.
My dad picked me up from school, we talked about snakes smelling with their tongues (idfk)
I took a nap then woke up to the smell of tacos..... Not all bad, not all bad

When i‘m high and i close my eyes i see the world in different dimensions, the craziest patterns and the sound from others conversations wraps itself around that whole thing. It almost feels like i‘m falling endlessly into another universe or like i‘m in a video game.

Me last night
My worst high story, was when I was 15 at the time, and I took a blinker out of my friend's wax pen (for the ones who don't know what a blinker is, it's when you hold the button of the wax pen until it blinks, which takes a long time) and as a did 3 more hits, and ghost inhales (smoke tricks) I felt so high... I started gagging, and my throat and chest were burning, and every where I walked I felt like everything was 5 seconds. I just wanted it to be over, by the time I nearly got home, I threw up like 5 times on the streets. I nearly fainted, my mom had to give me stomach pills and I slept for 4 hours, for the rest of the afternoon, till the next day. and I had a really strong over high (like a hang over for stoners) the next day. So I felt like my entire body was wasted.

i got so high that i legit thought my heart stopped for a while. like, mentally i know it didn’t, but physically i felt it so i started having a panic attack and i kept telling my brain to actually believe it was beating so it could stop freaking me out

Omg this reminds me of the first time I got high. I didn’t know my limit so I kept going with these friends at the time. Well once it hit it hit hard! I kept drifting in & out of continuousness. One minute I was fine the next my friends looked like cartoon characters. Like I was in a weird dream. And my hands were numb. They kept feeling like they were going through things. It was scary. But I’ve learned how to deal with my anxiety when I do get high. 😂

When I got stoned, I was just really relaxed and tingly. It was almost like being drunk but not really intoxicating. I didn't stumble or slur my speech. Just felt that nice numbing sensation throughout my body. And I couldn't really think at all. It's hard to explain but it was like my mind could not think. Overall, the times I got stoned were all very pleasant experiences.

Hit a dab once and it was my first time smoking ever. I remember feeling my heart explode I panicked then was sent into literal hell. My friends said my eyes were open but I wasn't responding. I was flying through a endless void of pain and screaming and completely forgot who I was. I just thought my entire existence was this tournament and a godly voice in my head was telling me this was the perfect existence and it will never end. As it went on my entire life was being shown to me and how I took my life for granted and now it's gone and will suffer forever. I woke up on the couch and I'm still traumatized because I literally thought I died and it made me really think about my existence and religion.

Literally this weekend. I got really high super quick. Laid down on my bed, my whole body was buzzing and tingling. After a minute or two, I literally couldn't move my body. My mind was awake but my body wasn't listening to my brain. It was so scary. Like those horror stories of people going to surgery and they are paralyzed but still awake.

I had edible once and got munchies. I decided to ride my bicycle to a near by McD. I stopped at a stop sign at a intersection and waited there for 10 mins waiting for the stop sign to turn green. Lol. Same night I had upset stomach and i was still high on edibles and Phoenix tears. I was shutting so hard I couldn't breath and end up passing out and banged my head on the sink next to the toilet.

I told my friend that I get super paranoid when I’m high around anyone. But she proceeded to beg me to smoke with her. We smoked and I stood up and felt light headed so I stood still until it went away. I started walking to my room and literally fainted because I was so anxious. I was twitching on the way down. She said that I was overreacting. I hit my head soooo hard on the corner of a wall. I was mad and wanted to be left alone so she left. Needless to say, never smoking with anyone again lol

I had a really bad high from an edible once (after I hadn't been high in a while, it hit a lot harder than usual) and basically I convinced myself I was in hell, and that my friends were there to torture me, and that it wasn't going to end. One time. I got so damn high. It felt I was in an infinite time circle. My friends and I were in the car and we were driving a hour home. Once it hit me I zoned out and tried so hard to not scream to get sober. Every time I thought 15-20 minutes went by only a minute went!!! The road felt like an endless time zone and felt scary like as if it was a piece of hell. Me being high and thinking of hell I started to freak more out hahah. Sooooo scary and freaky. Smh.

NimnNin, I actually used to use it a fair amount and really enjoyed it but after a couple years it started to just make me paranoid and anxious, almost like this. I think it’s really not for everyone, it all depends on you and your brain honestly. However, I do think calling these “horror stories” is a bit dramatic...
