So basically that first girl forgot her boyfriend existed
Yes
BMW M3 basically
Oof
Can you imagine when she has kids?
id kill her.....also i dont know why he didnt just call down to the front desk?
She should have written down the door code, but she doesnt seem that bright so.
How do you just not realize you've locked someone in a room? How the heck do you have a sick travel companion and not check on them for hours?
Selfishness
Or they tell you to leave them alone like I do anytime I’m sick
She's Bogus AF
I thought she was talking about a dog at first
Connect us to the Cosmic Family no wonder it’s her “then boyfriend”
The first story sounds like shes just really inconsiderate and she laughs all the way thru it :/
The laugh was really annoying 😕
she kinda sounds like a b*tch.
lynnkoi lol something worse couldve happened thooo i feel sorry for the person she LOCKED IN A ROOM
I get what you mean but it’s probably because it was a while ago and they all find it funny now it was probably more serious at the time.
Hotel rooms have phones he could have called reception
The first story sounds like a bit of a fire hazard
JayCubs XD when your hotel used to house political prisoners. *used to*
It’s a everything hazard
yeah thats so fucked....how can they have it where you lock people inside their rooms....what use does that do.
U could literally take your lock for your room and lock some random person inside theirs 🤣🤣
That first girl, man. When she said "my then boyfriend" i was like good, i'm glad he dumped her! At the end when she said they were now married I was truly surprised...
I think she said 'then boyfriend' because he's her husband now lol
I know I rewound the video because I was also confused I was like...… :/ But the reply from A makes more sense lol just wanted u to know u rnt the only one
Omg same!
A did you not read their last sentence
numba1spazzet Same!
That’s dangerous - what if the building is on fire and the door is locked
You can pry the door open in case of an emergency. I know this because my old apartment building had the same doors.
The doors are built that way to prevent you strangers from entering the building without access.
You can see she's not the brightest of people "left him with a little bit of water and went shopping"
@@lunayen If he could pry the doors open do you think he would have stayed in the room shouting for people to let him out instead?
True..
@@eclecticmillennial4225 Maybe he didn't think of that and didn't want to pay the damages to the door the hotel would charge? She said he said he could hear her so he probably figured it would be better to wait.
The first girl... yeesh... poor guy 😬😬😬
What a jerk she is! Playing it off like "ha ha, he was trapped, couldn't make himself heard. But it's all fine now".
You can't check on your passed out SO before going to the pool? Yeah, I'm not slapping a ring on that.
Yea like ... wouldn’t she go and check on him? I didn’t think it was very funny I would have been pissed
I’m sure at the time she felt really bad. After a while, past bad experiences seem not as bad and, at least for me, I tend to laugh at what, at the time, we’re incredibly embarrassing or traumatizing experiences. Just keep that in mind. Also, You’re judging her off of one experience with her boyfriend, you don’t know the whole story so just keep an openness mind
@@recoil53 I don't think she was laughing because it was funny. Sometimes people laugh when something is embarrassing. Besides it was 4 years ago, there's no point in being resentful that long.
that's just rude and irresponsible. how can you FORGET your boyfriend and just hang out with random people until 1.a.m.?!
Prolly drunk....
Every hotel room has a phone so you can call the reception in case anything happens, so.. weird 😂
@@lupuroxana-andreea4115 yeah but what if he fainted or whatever... she said he wasn't feeling well that day and didn't bother to check on him...
@@reginageorge3178 She also said HE WOKE UP
@@lupuroxana-andreea4115 he was stuck in a room, you never know if there was a phone there
the first girl made me mad
I quite enjoy how you emoji profile picture combined so well with your comment
@Iris Alejandría ikr😂
ikr
Maycies story was annoying. If it were me and my bf was sick, i wouldve stayed to care for him or at least check up on him every couple hours. He would be on my mind.. wondering if he ate or not. So incondiserate
You're an Easterner, we're more caring lol
Same lol I’d care more about him than myself
Syra Austria exactly that story pissed me off
Syra Austria no I’m from California and I check on my boyfriend constantly when he’s sick. Text and call when I’m at work and every 30 mins or by the bedside when I’m home
Right? Who does that?
That first story damn girl I would've broke up with you, even if it was an accident he was sick you should've at least checked in on him at some point before 1 am!! You best not be locking my ass in when I'm on vacation those days are valuable literally. I can't imagine spending thousands of dollars on vacation just to get stuck in a room all day.
whyre you so mad jdhfhfj
same i was pissed at that girl while she was laughing, like if i would of broke up with her too
I’m sure she felt really bad at the time but after a while you tend to laugh at past bad experiences so I wouldn’t get too mad her, k?
That was really selfish of the whole group not just her. You left a sick person in the hotel room and you don't check on them the whole day. That's just wrong on so many levels
I’d be pissed
The group that went to Morocco, I'm gonna assume the better. I'm assuming she accidentally locked the guy in (bc we all have those autopilot moments.) I'm assuming the group really did just lose track of time, and there's a chance the poor guy was only locked in the room for 6 hours total. (She never said what time they left the room.) BUT! It is disgusting that nobody in that group even THOUGHT to check on the poor guy in the hotel room. Especially when he was sick. That guy must be a saint, because if that happened to me, I would've burned every single one of those friendship bridges.
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU.
I remember getting food poisoning in Croatia a couple of years ago. It was soooo horrible. I didn't want to ruin my parents time there though so I told them to go out. The FIRST thing they did was go to the store and get me some gatorades, a bunch of crackers, waters, vitamin waters... they came back 10 minutes later and were like hey we got you some stuff.. are you sure you're okay we go out? And I was like yeah I'm fine, I promise. I have wifi and can talk to my friends. I'll be okay.
Well, they didn't go out for too long before coming back. They said they kept thinking of me and how I was. I know they're my parents so it's different, but when you care about someone you cant just forget about them?? I mean, it wasnt some random person they just met, it was the girl's boyfriend... I just can't get over how disgusting it was that no one thought to check on him and just left him there. What if he got more sick while they were gone?? They left him with barely any water... so what if he got dehydrated? :(
No not really . My wife or friends really would laugh at that. I think YOU seen like a toxic Friend if you can't laugh at that
Yeah, I know. I don't even know who this woman is, but now I want to break up with her too
"I almost killed my boyfriend huhuhuhu" stfu!!
Agree. I think a lot of men would've broken up with her.
"Where's your boyfriend?"
"He wasn't feeling well so I left him locked up, but don't worry he's sleeping and has AC and water."
"Not your dog, your boyfriend."
"What boyfriend?"
*1am back in the hotel room...
"Oh, that boyfriend!"
Why would you lock a dog up?.. lock yourself in a cage a tell me what you think your dog felt being locked that long
BF TE
A dog would probably feel the same way that poor guy felt 😂 (jk jk don’t come after me 😂).
"a little bit of water"
Even if it was my dog that was sick, i still would’ve been there for him
I literally read this in her voice 😂
I would have fought the first girl. How to you lock your sick boyfriend in the room and not check on him when you get done shopping. Why did she lock the door from the outside in the first place?
I was thinking the same, the right thing to do was leave him the key so that he could open if necessary, what if there is a fire or something?
She said that the doors lock from the outside and that she thought she was keeping him safe, but didn’t think about the fact that he wouldn’t be able to get out.
“I really wanted to meet a French man”... same tho
You can hear the person behind the camera laugh during his story
The group that went to Morocco, I'm gonna assume the better. I'm assuming she accidentally locked the guy in (bc we all have those autopilot moments.) I met one when I was working at Kroger. His accident was so sweet and he was so confused when counting the money.
Pasqua Ninna you legit copied and pasted somebody else’s comment
“like duhh”
They should have told the first story from the husband’s point of view.
4:27 so this dude went to a country that was foreign to him (France) and met up with a stranger in the middle of the night in his apartment? Does he WANT to get murked?
He was lucky he survived.
PO3000 please tell me you’re joking.
I thought that too, like O No that's how you end up on milk cartons!!
Why is this more dangerous than in the country that you live in?
m a Because he doesn’t speak the language and isn’t familiar with emergency contact numbers and procedures? Because his cell phone doesn’t work on their networks? It being a foreign country is important for this kind of context
one time i got diarrhea on the airplane and i had a middle seat.

My family and I took a vacation to Jamaica about 10 years ago. We had a great time while we were there, and on the way back home to New York, someone at the airport threw away my suitcase, ripped off my luggage tag, and put my luggage tag on a different suitcase filled with 150 pounds of weed. When the grounds crew saw that the suitcase was already pre-boarded on the plane, they were extremely suspicious so they ordered the whole airport to go on lockdown and for bomb sniffing dogs to come in. When they opened the suitcase and saw that there were drugs in it, they detained me and my family in the police station in the airport and interrogated us for two days. After some investigation they finally figured out that we didn’t do it. It ended up being an inside job where an employee from the Delta terminal in Jamaica was sending the drugs to their friend working at our arriving terminal in New York. Worst 72 hours of my life.
OMG
Omg... I sincerely apologize for what happened
“Because we’re Delta Airlines, and life is a f*cking nightmare” :)
Did you sue them
I’d love to feature your story on my Travel Horror Stories Podcast: travelhorrorstoriespodcast.com
rename this vid "maycie being a bad gf for 2 minutes"
Kendall Palmer ikr, I hate the way she kept laughing at her horrible mistake
@@jorjacardoza9179 People laugh when they're embarrassed. And it was four years ago. It's either carry the guilt with you forever or find a way to laugh at the situation.
Maycie went on vacation with her best friend and her best friend's husband. Neither of those mo-foes thought to check in on him either. I can see why those two are best friends. Taking a trip with 3 garbage people. I would be so done. I can't imagine what Maycie is like with her kids when they are sick. IF she has kids. Ugh!!! Why was she so awful??? How are you THAT selfish and self-centered????
amiablehacker I’m sorry, didn’t look at it that way oops
Well she didn’t mean to do it. I think she feels bad and she was embarrassed so that’s why she was laughing. It was an awkward laugh. She didn’t mean to. I’m sure they laughed it off.
Well that's why you don't scream at people serving you...
Whew maycie.... this did NOT help your image lmfao
I never really liked her and just trusted that there must be something special buzzfeed invests so much in...but now you just gave me a reason to validate that hate lol
I will never not be shocked by how boring buzzfeed workers are. “One time I couldn’t find the button for a door until I found it”
XD XD
The first story pissed me off. I would've punched her in the face.
Am I the only one that doesn’t find these stories “horrifying”?
I thought the last one would be really bad, but it just sucked.
@@josie2180 "but it just sucked" - Literally.
@@EliteXtasy I was hoping someone would pick up on that joke! XD
The first one was
Honestly, hearing them now from people that are clearly okay I guess not but if any of these happened to me while I was traveling I would be freaking the eff out. (Except the first one that was just very inconsiderate of her not checking on her sick bf and LOCKING HIM IN THE F*****G ROOM)
Same thing happened to me. My sister and boyfriend locked me in a hotel room in Munich. I started feeling super nauseous, so I told them to go ahead and go to dinner with our parents. About 20 minutes later, I felt better, so I thought I’d go ahead and join them for dinner. The restaurant was next door to the hotel. I went to open the door and nothing. I was so pissed at them. I was starving by the time they came back. Fortunately, my dad called down to the front desk and asked them if they had any food for me. Best bread and cheese I ever had!
So to recap, Buzzfeed's idea of 'horrifying' is:
1. Being locked in a hotel room for a day
2. Accidentally booking a hotel on the wrong day
3. Temporarily locked in a foyer before you figure out the door release button.
Buzzfeed, you need to get out more.
I never get upset about people on the internet but that first story truly upsets and disgusts me. That guy could have died.
Common you not dying emediately but is it not normal to look after yoh sick Partner if you are coming back
When she said she locked her boyfriend in the hotel room that gave me so much anxiety.
So we were housesitting in New Zealand, and 5 days before the end of our sit in the evening we get an email saying we have to get out tomorrow morning, there will be someone to collect the keys. No explanation, and when we asked, they refused to answer the phone. If that wasn;t bad enough, after we had left, they accused us of flooding their kitchen, causing a mess etc...
Moral of the story, take pictures as evidence as we did :)
You guys were smart very good on you to know to do that
where they friends? Or do people let strangers house sit for them? This obviously sounds like some kind of fraud scam.
The way the first person talks is so annoying.. Like seriously oh my gawwwwwd... Valley girl
I don't even know where to begin!
When I went to Korea for the first time about two years ago, it was also my first time flying solo to a foreign country. I was going there to meet my boyfriend, who was coming to Korea on a different flight that's set to arrive a couple of hours after I was set to arrive there. He goes to Korea a lot for work and is very familiar with Incheon Airport (or so he says) so we arranged to meet at the Baskin Robbins at the Arrivals area as it was apparently right next to the gate his flight would always use. But when I got to the airport and asked where the Baskin Robbins was, the Korean woman at the information desk told me that there hasn't been a Baskin Robbins inside Incheon Airport FOR ABOUT A YEAR AT THAT POINT. (I kinda don't blame him for not noticing that the Baskin Robbins was gone, mainly because he doesn't really have a sweet tooth.) Naturally, I freaked out. My boyfriend was currently airborne at the time and I didn't have cell service (roaming is expensive yo) so he would have no way to contact me should we miss each other. (Note that I didn't know at the time that Incheon Airport had crazy fast free wifi.) So I went back to the information desk, asked which gate his flight was going to be using (thank God I knew his flight number) and I proceeded to park my ass onto a bench right in front of that gate for FOUR HOURS, where all I did was watch the board with all of the flight info and panic at the thought of being alone in a foreign country whose language I couldn't speak. He eventually did walk through the gate I was expecting him to exit from, wondering why I was sitting in front of his gate rather than at the Baskin Robbins as we had agreed upon and why I had a frantic look on my face. When I told him that the Baskin Robbins has been closed for about a year, he apologised profusely of course, but he still laughed at me for panicking so much. Apparently I was so pale when he saw me that he thought that I was going to sick. To this day, we always laugh whenever we see a Baskin Robbins, and he always makes it a point to buy me a scoop of mint chocolate chip ice cream as an apology.
He sound so cute
I enjoyed this story so much. Thank you for sharing.
That's a cute story but, you could've waited at where the Baskin Robbins used to be. 😂😂
It is so funny that all was like that!
Maycie’s laugh is so irritating... not sure if it annoyed me so much because of the sound or because she seemed to think her very unfunny, disturbing, and borderline sociopathic story was funny
He's a much more forgiving man than i, I would have flown back home
locking your boyfriend in the room, probably wasn't the best thing to do
My most terrifying travel story:
I got trapped in an airplane bathroom. Literally trapped. I had to pee so bad so as soon as the seatbelt sign went off I sprinted to the back of the plane and went in. As soon as I tried to lock the door of the tiny bathroom the door handle fell off. LITERALLY it falls pieces on the floor, half on the other side and half inside the bathroom. There luckily was a flight attendant outside the door and she saw it happen and starts freaking out trying to put it back together. I start immediately having a panic attack and literally get so nervous I start to pee my pants while trying to reassemble the metal doorknob. After at least 10 minutes the flight attendant was eventually able to get a screwdriver from who knows where and get the door unlocked and it finally opened. I thanked her, went back to my seat and sat in slightly peed in leggings for the rest of the flight.
Lol
I'm so sorry that happened.
Abigail Williams I’d love to feature your story on my podcast: travelhorrorstoriespodcast.com
Abigail Williams when I was on a skiing trip when I was 5-7 I got locked in our hotel bathroom, my parents phoned maintenance to get me out, turns out I was turning the door knob the wrong way. It doesn’t sound dramatic but I felt like I broke the law 😂
Abigail Williams that’s horrifying 😩
Dude over hyped his story, literally not the worst thing in the world.
"I thought this was gonna be the end" .....like really, you are stuck in the lobby, not that big of a deal. Like this was the best they could come up with? Why not ask another question....oh i know why, clickbait.
don’t even know why I clicked on this video I’m mad from the first girl story the fact that she did that and not once thought about him not even checked up on him my boyfriend is always on my mind even if I leave him to go to the store real quick that’s horrible and I would be pissed esp since you guys were on vacation smh why even lock the door from the outside anyways and why didn’t you tell him it was super selfish of her the whole thing surprised he Married her she probably always does inconsiderate things to him

She kept saying 'my then boyfriend' so assumed they broke up. And I was like good for him. So when she said that they got married I was like wtf?
He can't call the front desk to unlock the door?
llgla she said there were no hotel phones in the room
And now that poor dude is locked in for life. RIP.

My most horrifying was when I got lost at a foreign supermarket in Jamaica. People did know English but they couldn't understand the problem, they thought that I couldn't find something hahaahahah
Oh no😂 I'm from Jamaica. Lol they probably didn't understand for real. Depending on the area
First story is not in anyway funny ....!! Poor guy
the weirdest thing that happened to me was one time in NYC in the middle of Times square some drunk naked guy wearing cowboy boots was running around screaming at the top of his lungs with a sign asking for money specifically for more alcohol and pizza.
That's normal in NYC I live there.
Flum as an ohioan, i was shook
that’s like the naked cowboy or something? idk it’s a thing
@@Givenofficial well you see naked women bare only with paint over their bodies, so a naked cowboy is very possible

2:20 "maybe being locked in the room..helped cure him! Hahahaha!" WTF are you serious?
I was on a connector flights from atl to New Jersey, then New Jersey to chi. My mom threw up. On BOTH flights. On the plus side, she got free snacks and a blanket.
I had food poisoning when travelling in Asia and I also have motion sickness. I vomited my entire stomach contents at the back of a cab in Indonesia. 🤮 Cab driver was so kind about the whole thing. Luckily a mosque was nearby and we could wash up. Now my jeans looks like it had an acid wash! Lololol
I just had mine earlier this afternoon coming home in that freak snow storm. Literally none of the workers were prepared and we all had to suffer because of it
two years ago I traveled with my best friend at the time from Austria to Croatia by car and forgot my passport. we didn't need it to get into Slovenia, but they stopped us at the Croatian border. they wouldn't let me through under no circumstances, but we had an airbnb booked and were already 4 hours away from home. fast forward, we spent 2 hours at the border freaking out, my best friend cried the whole time and wanted to go home, I was on the phone with several authorities trying to figure out what to do, the border agents were super rude to us, and in general nobody wanted to help us, it was a horrible experience😂 in the end, we found out you could make an emergency passport at an austrian embassy 1 hour away for just 70 €, they had already closed and we had to stay in Slovenia over night, but it was no big deal. but for some reason nobody could tell us that earlier 🤦🏼♀️😂
*I once got stuck in an airport due to extreme weather*
I feel for the one who booked the wrong weekend. I often fear that will happen to me at the airport and so on.
Every single flight I’ve been on since I was diagnosed with diabetes has not smoothly flyed without a delay a cancellation a flight problem etc me and my parents call it the travel curse it’s awful
So this happened to me September this year (its 2018 for yall in the future). I was in this beautiful hotel in Spain with my boyfriend and his parents, we were enjoying the sun and having a few drinks and it was amazing for the first few days....Untill this god awful Welsh family showed up. There must have been like 30 of them,im talking mums dad's grans granddads kids aunts uncles the lot. They where so loud and my boy freinds parents didn't like it but I explained to them (regretingly) that of course with so many people it was hard for them to stay quiet so we just tried to relax and ignore them. All was fine untill one of the children (13 at most) came over to me and decided to pour a cup of chocolate milkshake and diet coke over me then laughed and when my boyfriends dad went to this kids family they just laughed it off and said 'kids will be kids, she can wash it off'.
So that's my story... Not that horrible but still ruined my holiday
I was staying at a hotel with my family once, forgot why, but we walked up to the hallway and the closer we got to our room the more it smelled like pot. We asked the front desk if we could get a new room but there were no rooms available. We all stayed in a room next to another room where someone was smoking pot everyday. The hotel didn’t allow people to smoke pot, so they tried to find the room it was coming from. They never did, so for the couple days we stayed there, all we could smell was pot.
"Its 2 am and theres drunk french people everywhere" imagine that line out of context, I love it.
OMG I CANNOT believe they included a late night Grindr story 😂 of course that’s gonna be a nightmare
Wow I've never seen more first world problems in my life.
The first story got me MAD AF !
The last one when he said the door wouldn’t open I immediately thought did he push the exit button 😂
The first story gives me somehow Hangover movie vibes
None of it was that terryifying!
the button on the opposite wall to buzz the door open is pretty common through all of europe

Huntsman Spider in Australia: Am I a joke to you?
What kind of person abandons a sick person all day with only a limited supply of water? On top of that she LOCKED him in the room. If you're in a foreign country, you need to be extra careful about illnesses. She should've kept a close eye on him or at least checked up on him once every hour or two. If I'd been her, I probably would've left to go to a nearby store or market to stock up on fluids and find food suitable for a sick person to eat. I may've even asked around for help finding stuff if I was somewhere where everything was written in an unfamiliar language. Then you know what I'd do? I'd go back and take care of them and ensure that they'd be able to receive help if they were sicker than just a common bug. You don't just LOCK a sick person in a room. The only people who should be locked up anywhere are those who are a danger to others. . . The blanket could've waited. What's more important? Bonding with your significant other and taking care of them or some blanket and a couple of strangers?
You can hear the producer laughing at like 4:45 😂
I feel like the weirdest things happen at airports/planes
I got food poisoning on air Canada from their plane food and it hit me when I had 8 hours left on the place 😷
The door thing is also standard in australia past like 10pm at hotels
Seriously...
Accidentally booking a hotel for the weekend before and not being able to open a door within 5 minutes doesn’t sound that horrifying to me. Anyone???
Oops yeah that's how you get out of buildings in France, you have to find the right switch
If I was the guy in the first story I would’ve dumped that girl on the spot, if she actually cared about him, she wouldn’t have forgotten that she LOCKED HIM IN A ROOM WITH LIMITED FOOD AND WATER AND NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE!
Lol watching this while waiting to get on my flight at the airport.😂✈️
I had that first story happen to me, I LET ALL HELL LOOSE ON HIM, once he unlocked the door and entered the room. I was starving, lonely, sick and dehydrated for 6 hours.
Omg I had the same problem with the button in Paris! Why is that a thing haha
I love how you can hear people laughing in the background
I am just like the middle girl. I accidentally booked the wrong train tickets and did not notice until the very last minute.
I got food poisoning or something at an airport on the way home from Cancún and threw up over 50 times and passed out later
Cristine and Ben is simplynaillogical lol
I wouldn't have stayed with someone who locks me in a room all day, doesn't care to check in me even though I'm sick, doesn't wonder where I am or what I'm doing all day long and later laughs about it while telling the story on the internet. She doesn't seem to care for him a whole lot.
My nightmare holiday: There was no kettle or teabags anywhere because we were on a small island
Plane has turbulence:
Buzzfeed: *releases this video*
My parents went on a road trip to I think Oklahoma. They stopped one night at a motel. they booked a room and when they pulled the blanket down they found a huge blood stain. The motel wouldn't give them another room or refund their money so they slept on the other bed that night.
I once ran onto a random bus when I in Washington DC.😂
The first one PISSED me off how selfish can you be lmfao
I’ve totally booked a hotel for the wrong night before too 🤦🏻♀️
