You're missing a number of things. The PDP Pro SD isn't even available to certain states due to the threaded barrel. Additionally, it fulfills the roll of suppressor/comp gun, but for those who purely want a competition pistol, the Match is tailored towards that purpose. It doesn't have the weight of the Steel framed variant, but with some modifications, you can increased the weight of the frame (Brass backstrap and brass guide rod). Now, as for what the benefit of reducing the slide weight, there are a number that I can think of, but honestly I'd have to shoot it in order to get a complete picture.
Hoping and waiting for the PDP series to include subcompact/micro categories. I know the F series is there but not quite the same. Hoping Walther gets a subcompact/micro CCW that competes with the most popular ones out there. I know Walther can do it (or already is working on it)!
Why do you put three dot sights on a match pistol? This does not make sense. Either black/black for bullseye or black/fiber optic for dynamic shooting.
*I love it! I own three PDP models: the Pro SD, the 4.5" midsize, and the 4" compact. This new model is next!* 😎
I need one!
So it's the PDP Pro without the threaded barrel? Maybe I'm missing something but that seems to be the only difference between the two.
No the slide is different lighter tracks faster
Also there is a steel frame model that also got released today

What are the recommended iron sights for a 1/4 co-witness with the exact same setup (match and Acro P2)?
