ABOUT ME
🙋♀️ I’m Maria, an Engineering Manager at a big tech company and I’ve been coding since I was 13 years old. I love working in tech because building new things and being creative is something that makes me really happy. While on this journey, I realized how lots of questions I receive in 1:1s get repeated a lot so I decided to upload short and simple Q&A videos on TikTok which grew to a small amount of followers. For some questions, I wanted to dive deeper with longer answers which is how this channel started. When I was in my late 20s I did a solo trip throughout Italy. I had a friend in the hotel business that set me up in some really great hotels in Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice, ect. I had a great time! On my last few days I took an over night sleeper train from Rome to Monte Carlo and stayed at the 4 Seasons there. I know solo traveling isn't for everyone but I really had a blast. So nice to do what you want, when you want.
I love going to places alone. It teaches you something about a country I think

Hey I really like your videos and keep posting them! I am working as a lawyer for more than 10 years and I recently decided that I want to become a software engineer and started studying it after work. One of the main reasons is that it allows you to have this type of freedom and basically work from everywhere and do not need to stay in an office for at least 08 hours a day...
It’s gonna take a while to feel comfortable with engineering but I’m sure you can do it if you have patience and willpower ✨

How much is difference in US Dollar for a rent in Palermo downtown vs New York downtown?? With the current economy problems and inflation in Argentina I suppose the difference is really really huge. I think, for many people and being really honest, this is one of the main reason that foreign comes to Argentina.
If you earn USD, it's a huge difference. E.g. I found brand new 2BR (3 rooms: living room + 2 bedrooms) in Palermo for about 1.5k USD while the same apartment would go for more than 7k in Manhattan. HOWEVER, people don't earn USD in Argentina of course so life there is more expensive if you earn Pesos :(
