    I liked this video. I've been to Buenos Aires twice and plan on living there for a year or two after I retire at the end of 2023. The only problem I have is that I am a vegan and Argentina is hardly vegan friendly. I already know that I want to live in Recoleta. Recoleta is the only place where it costs more to die there than to live there.😄

    • @joanna.pytelx
      @joanna.pytelx 2 года назад +4

      I think when it comes to being vegan/vegetarian many ppl assume that if most of the country eats meat then it's hard to find any plant-based products or restaurants there, but it's not very true. I lived in Spain and every vegetarian/vegan I met there told me they resigned from their diet after moving there, but I think they were just "lazy"/wanted to actually try traditional cuisine. I kept my diet and I was honestly truly okay, in the south it was much harder but in a big city it's not a problem at all and I think in most of the countries you'd be fine. The only difference is that when I go out in my country I don't need to search for a specific restaurant bc there are vegetarian/vegan options everywhere and in Spain, I had to do my research. But don't be discouraged by other people, just try to verify it yourself, I'm sure u will be okay :)

      Hello, in Buenos Aires there are small supermarkets everywhere, almost every block, or every 2 blocks, mostly chinese ones, and then some international and national chains like, Carrefour, Dia%, etc. Then you also have the big supermarkets, when people buy stuff for the month, for example, but the idea in the city is that you have everything you need to buy daily mostly 2 blocks around you, grocery store, bakery, supermarkets, kioskos (little stores that sell candy, cigarettes, a bit of everything), ferretería (hardware store), etc, you don’t really need a car in BA, even less if you live near a subte station (metro).

      We paid for 3 months (450 per month) + 450 deposit + 550 agent commissions. But we already know a few people who have rented a property without paying agent commissions at all, and also with a smaller deposit.

    Hello!!!! My boyfriend's coming here in the summer from America! It's only gonna be for two weeks, s should we just rent an Airbnb? I heard it's an international website so if we pay from Argentina with an argentinian card it will be more expensive since it's gonna have all the taxes, but if he pays with his American card it will be much cheaper right? Without the taxes. I'm just sooo confused with all of this, and I'm not sure what option is best for us to stay! I would really appreciate any help

      It seems to me that it is better to choose a booking com with payment in pesos, then you just pay in cash, which you will exchange here at the rate you need.
