I’m have one of the first 1000 vans completed nearly 2 years ago. Went on the road full time Sept 1 2022, and 10,000 miles later I’m still out here currently in Quartzsite but heading to Texas for the solar eclipse and then Colorado in June for the burning man festival Apogaea. Did not know about the Facebook group and joined it today. Thanks for the fun video, good to see you again Austin!
I hope to be a wayfarian in ~3-4 years. I have two favorite trips in old VW campers, and it looks like you have the same type of community that people in the old VW’s had: My parents took my brother and me to Europe in 1969. He was military, so going space-a on military planes cost $40 for the family each way. Anyway, to see Europe, my dad rented a VW camper for one month and we camped our way around. It looks very similar to the van conversions you do, except in a smaller space. I really don’t like RV’s (apologize if you’re offended) because of the generator noise, the size, etc.). We liked it so much, my dad bought a VW camper when we got back. By 1976, my brother, his friend and me went to Colorado in the camper for six weeks. I was 15 and my brother and his friend were 17, so this was his “graduation trip”. My favorite campground was Collegiate Peaks National Forest campground. There was a creek behind our campsite that was dammed by beavers. I found a nice piece of aspen on the dam, whittled some finger notches in it, and have used it as a walking stick up until today. Anyway, this is about Wayfarer, not VW😊, and I just started looking around to see what was available, that was similar to that type of experience, and I’m glad I found you all. Congratulations on 1000 builds 🎉🎉🎉!!! Your conversions look to me like what the VW would aspire to be, if it had a bigger frame and modern technology. I love the simplicity, yet I love all the bells and whistles, too. In going through RUclips videos and the build your own portion of the website, I have my sites on a Wilford. In going through the build, every add on I saw prompted me to think, “who wouldn’t want that”? I’m glad to have a couple of years until I retire, so I can narrow down what options I really want. Thanks for thinking the way you do and acting on it. To me, you represent the good, positive side to entrepreneurship. Keep up the great work!

Congrats! Great product and great crew! This may be a corny idea and maybe too expensive, but you guys should create a certificate of ownership with the number on it and send it to the address of record! I know I would love it. Could be a simple printed out thing. We don't travel full time, 50 nights a year, might have trouble finding some of the full-timers, but I would like to know our number.
My Wally has been on the road with me for four years now. I had to replace the van once, but the kit is still going strong! I was able to remove the entire kit with a screw driver and a crescent wrench I borrowed in a salvage lot in the middle of North Dakota. Hauled the kit back to Washington, D.C. and installed it in another Ram Promaster City I bought from a Russian guy's used car lot in New Jersey. It was quite the adventure.
Congratulations! I've searched around at all the Vanbuilder companies. I found out myself that you guys are awesome. I watched your videos and saw you on FB. You guys, again, are awesome. I will be in the future coming to Wayfarer vans for the purchase of Wilfred. I want the build to be for me and me only. Meaning. A one person build. Keep up the great job that ya'all do.🤟👋
Congratulations! Had my Walter installed in June 2019 and have been through countless road trips, camping and moves since then (so handy to be able to convert my van back into a cargo van when needed!). Love it and hope to keep on rolling with Walter for many years to come!

(warning, biased response 😜) - there are lots of great camping setups but nothing beats the simplicity of a camper van. Pull off the road, spin the seat and you're camping. We're here to help when you're ready to get your Wayfarer wheels rolling!
I have LOVED watching you all grow your business. I guess I met Ian near the beginning at the 2015 Sedona MTB Fest. You had the ProMaster City and I had a Dodge Tradesman with an Ikea youth size bed and two bikes. I watched growing into all the Ram versions but that AWD Ford was what I wanted. I could not give yall my money fast enough that Friday you announced the Wilford. In fact I could not reach yall so I called the dealer and gave them a deposit. After taking 10 months to get my Wilford and I have been happy together three years now. I think I got Wilford #11. Thanks yall.

I love the evolution of this company! I am thinking about retiring my rooftop tent for one of your vans. So practical. Less fuss.
