Jordan did an excellent job! Well spoken, didn’t talk too quickly, provided valuable information, and seemed like the kind of guy you’d want to sit around a campfire with. Jordan is more than a builder and installer…….he could be the voice of Wayfarer Vans! 😊
It's really exciting to see all of the upgrades and options you've added and to think about all the future Wayfarians who will love their new vans as much as we love ours!
Trying to decide if the 2.5" risers are "enough" -- if I read your specs right, that would give about 36.5" of height in the garage space? (Concerned about headroom in the main bed though if lifted too high --- aargh analysis paralysis!)
Great question! It all depends how much room you need in the garage and bed based on your height. You can always begin without risers and add 2.5" or 4" later; we can ship them directly to you and they're easy to install!
Ive been on their website and i still have one question. Are they only selling the conversion & (i) supply the van or are they selling the vans + the conversion?
We only sell the conversion, though we also help connect those interested to a van through our wide network of dealer partners! Our goal is to make the whole process simply and pain free.
Nice but pretty bare bones. I'd have to get lucky and get a deal on a used van first and would still want a fantastic vent fan, at least one operable window, AC and solar. . . .all from one place. Still not sure I can afford even this!
25k for wool insulation (think moisturize and mold) walls and floors? Forgot you get an awkward $15 hand pump faucet and maybe a cabinet? Everything else is extra. Please don’t fall for this business model of trying to pull the wool (see what I did there😂) over the consumers eyes!
Like any quality product that's worth the money, it takes time, well thought materials, and years of perfecting to build a camper van as durable as a Wayfarer Vans conversion. If you haven't seen one in person, we suggest doing so 😉 Our conversions are made with cabinet-grade 9-ply Baltic birch furniture, stainless steel hardware, water and scratch-resistant composites, washable soft panels, and the toughest flooring on the market. It's a bombproof camper van (disclaimer: not tested with actual bombs 💣 ). As for Havelock Wool, there are lots of opinions on the matter. We looked at them all and found wool to be the most sustainable, highest performing option. Regarding moisture, here's what Havelock has to say: "One of wool’s greatest strengths is its ability to manage moisture. It heats up when it absorbs moisture which helps maintain its R-value despite being wet, which in turn helps it dry out quickly. Equally important is a wool fiber’s construct. It is a keratin and therefore will not support the growth of mold." We've spent hundreds of nights in our own company vans and can say without hesitation that Havelock wool works well, and leaves no room for moisture concern. There may be cheaper options for a camper van conversion but we'll go to bat ⚾️ any day on the quality of our work!

He was great! We will forward the message to him. He will love it!
@@WayfarerVans Plus, he's cute as hell! (Which never hurts.)😅

Thanks for the tour.
Is that long bed a standard size? Like King, Queen, Etc? Just wondering about what sheet set you would buy for that...
The best fitting sheets would be for a queen.

Love the simplicity

@WayfarerVans I was just confused on the base price of $20,000 and how it doesn't include a vehicle for that price.
So great!
How much is that exact set up including the van?
That exact setup is $26,445 for the conversion and approximately $56,000 for the van (depending on options), or you can get one used.
That’s incredible value! Nicely done!
