My uncle passed away a few years ago and now I feel like the guardian of a large collection of ships and figures made of sets from 1980's (I think) to 2018
I'm sorry to read that he passed. What a great way to keep his memory alive by caring and taking in his collection. I bet there's a lot of amazing ships and figures from collecting all those years.
Not too long ago I completed ome of my wish list as a kid & got a hold of The Power of The Force II Sail Skiff & Vintage Collection Sail Skiff. I've wanted one since it's announcement in 1983 but never saw it in stores.
I love my AT AT. I got mine on sale for $100 back in the day. I’ve come to like the original one from the 80’s better though. It’s a little more space friendly and still functions pretty well.
I love my AT-AT. I got it for $200 with everything included and working electronics. The previous owner even panel lined and dirtied it up with some watered down shoe polish, and it looks fantastic. It and the Smuggler’s Run Falcon are the center pieces of my Star Wars room
I paid $800 for my Galxy's Edge Falcon (which by the way is faulty as the sound effects keep triggering on their own). But I got the legacy AT AT brand new out-of-the-box for $260 on ebay!! I got real lucky with the bidding
There's another falcon that came out a few years ago, but it was just a solid piece that didn't open up and had a sticker sheet for everything. Snagged it on clearance for $20 even though it's a BMF.
Great video!!! I bought two of the razor crests on the secondary market I was lucky the first one I paid $600 and the second one I paid $750 and this was in September and October both are still unopened
Was passing through a store and got the Legacy AT-AT for $60 US back in the day. Didn't realize what the original MSRP was even then. I see them on eBay now and wonder whether I should my AT-AT in some kind of vault! But no, it's out, full of Saga Collection snowtroopers and ready to inspire me to fight the many stresses in my life. Huge, full of features. I mean, I worry that my friends and colleagues would judge me if they ever saw it, but I can keep my secret. :-)
Yeah, I used an aggregator. I just went and checked for myself to see, and damn you are correct. I think the aggregator was pulling in sold Yakface figures (which sell for 300-500). That is probably what pulled the price down.

10 years ago, all of these vehicles seem to have came with 1-2 figures with them. Now, all of the figures that they came with are sold separately from all of the vehicles.
The vintage collection slave one is so much bigger then the power of the force and the jango fett version you have , I have also and it is a lot smaller then the vintage collection one is

@@Nerdzoic you can always put it back in the box. Sealed is great but one problem is that how do you know down the line there is anything in it. Lol. Just take detailed photos so you can put it back in as is. If you are extremely careful it can be kept in great condition. Also too many people collect for the money value in my opinion. I’m sure the vast majority of this stuff will end up as land fill. AFA graded or not. Especially the route the Disney is taking. In a 100 years will future generations even care ??? Who knows.

I want 5, I have the power of the force 2 version wich is fine with me! But #4 is the one I need so bad! I have a great clone base set up with the juggernaut tank, the v-19 and the A.R.C. 170 with around 30 clones! And I want that gun ship sooooo bad! They need to rerelease it badly!
I wish this never happened because most of the actually good toys like these are skyrocketing in price now when there are people like me who can't just fork up the cash for their favorite space vehicle from star wars. I have other interests than star wars now all because of the prices that have gone up and up and UP over the years. I'm hoping Hasbro can get a collection and they make plenty so we don't have to save for around a year for a space vehicle from a scifi saga. quick edit: I understand these are for collectors and I am one of them but still.
I bought mine when prices were not scalper prices. Hasbro does not produce what people wants and produces what people do not want. No wonder it is in trouble.

Your facts are incorrect I have an original 1979 X-Wing and the original 1979 millennium falcon both are pre 1980's though they are restos they both been appraised at around $725 for the falcon and around $375 for the X-Wing
These are all from "The Vintage Collection" which is made in packaging to honor the 70s/80s packaging. The Vintage Collection line has ran since 2010 (with a break in hte middle)

Its false advertising to call these the vintage collection. My original SW 80's, 70's vehicles had litghs and sound. Theses reissues don't. That something the kids of the last 25 years missed out on.
@@Nerdzoic I was working at Goodwill awhile ago and someone donated their whole original Star Wars vehicle collection. I was sad because I couldn't buy them, but I did have a nice time talking to the people who were going to buy them for their grandkids.

Those at-at walkers are different though. Hard to compare regular with legacy.

Thank God for 3d printers. They may not be the original, but its the piece that counts in a collection.
