Hashtags serve a better purpose on Instagram. They're searchable and increase your chance of being seen by more people. Since this video was made, we don't recommend using them on Facebook. It's not a pound symbol, it is a number sign. The pound symbol is £.
I kind of agree..It`s a geographical thing..Americans use # as a pound or a number sign . They don`t have £ they have $ (-:
