Hey guys, don’t know if you’re still in the caravan, but have a look at inverter heaters. They’re used widely in the far east. Super safe and cheap as hell to run. Timer for all week so you can program when they come on and off. Not cheap, but way easier on fuel. 0.19p per kw compared to 0.30p+ for gas or electric. 👍👍

Have you done the double glazing yet ? I'm trying to find out how to take a window out in my static caravan to get a sofa in.And wonder if you did it yourselves ?

@ChristineToon So 30p per kwh is what we were being charged for electric by our electric company. We don't use electric heaters any more since we installed the diesel heater. I don't know anything about inverter heaters sorry!

I live in a static, I absolutley love my electric blanket. Double glazing didn't do nothing for mine. Was still cold.

Can you tell me what an inverter heater is please. I live in a static.0.30p you are joking ours is 0.70p per kw.
