- This is a 7 day horse riding pack trip into the Teton & Washakie Wilderness near the SE corner of Yellowstone National Park. The journey started at Turpin Meadows trailhead riding into the South Buffalo Fork Drainage to Pendergraft Meadows and Pendergraft Peak, through resent forest fires, up Turner Fork Drainage and onto Buffalo Plateau and the snow covered ridges. Passing over Marston Pass and down into the South Fork of the Shoshone River. Heading down drainage on trails that Buffalo Bill Cody travelled in the 1860's toward Cody, Wyoming.

Roger, I love your videos. You do such a good job documenting your journey's. I love that country that you showed in this video and your just riding Thorofare video. When was this video and pictures taken? I was on the South Fork of the Buffalo and Pendegraft Meadows last July. Keep up the good work.
I did this trip a few years back. Just got it put together. I have been wondering about going back to see how the mountain recovered from the fire
@@cowdogflicks Great video Roger, some of my favorite country. Sorry to hear about your Dad passing.
Mine passed in 03 at 84 years old, I've never quit missing him.
Did you ever notice watermelon snow up in those high passes?
no watermelon snow did not see any but it was cold
Great video Roger! Thanks for posting it. How was the trail condition going up Turner fork? I’d like to ride that from Brooks lake over to S Fork Yellowstone one day.
The trail is not heavily used but still there. I like your idea from going from Brooks Lake to Yellowstone sounds like a good trip let me know if you need a partner. Horsecamp27@gmail.com
