Just picked up one for my 2015 rmz450. Surprised they still have them in stock. And for $99 bucks I'm not complaining. Didn't need instructions on how to install but just watching videos about them.
Honestly im sort of interested in one of these. I just don't see it making a huge difference. The price of the product in my opinion is alot for a simple air boot. I've been looking at the twin air throttle body kit aswell. i wonder how this would pair up with that.
@jwctex14 for one i know what an air box is it's a pretty easy thing to know and as for taking it off basically just take any bolt holding it in off it's not difficult but doesn't matter if you know of this tassinary boot if you buy it chances are you know what it is and where it's going not to many people have them unless theyre racing
@druminsk8 Some people, like me and my mum, have to learn to work on the bike by ourselves. We aren't mechanics, and with something like this I would have to come watch the video. I didn't even know whatthat was when he held it up or where it goes on the bike. Now I do though. Do you have the ability to not know about something, then see it, and know exactly where it goes? Or did you learn about your bike from somewhere or someone?
I have disassembled my air box to clean it up (CRF250R '14) and on the connecting part of the boot or w/e you call it and airbox it was something like silicon (it looked like it was OEM). You don't seal it with it. What should I do, seal it with silicon or just reassemble like you? Please help me :)!
+Captainpippy i bet most riders are running both lol that extra hp and more speed aswel and run full ceramic engine bearings better revs when you upgrade your bearings
They don't mention it in the video but this mod is worthless if you don't remap. So figure send your ecm off before ordering your airboot so you aren't stuck waiting around while everyone else is out throwing up dirt. ;)
@Flyingsoggypotato if that as suppose to be a joke that was pretty weak , here want me to rephrase? if you need a video to tell you how to intstall a 270 dollar AIR BOOT , not only should you not have bought it but you should rethink any future mods to do to your bike if your gonna do them your self
Also don't buy that applied/tokyo mods breather hose kit... waste of time and money since you don't use the red anodized cap anymore (the one he shows in the video.) Instead, go to your local hardware store, buy a medium length piece of hosing and install with it routed in front of the shock and out the bottom of the bike between the frame and linkage.
@druminsk8 Why would we need some make believe white guy with a beard to help us? I think this channel does a lot better job when it comes to working on dirtbikes.

theyre literally charging $300 for like $5 worth of plastic. i swear shit for bikes is just way over priced for what it is
I would like them to do a video on the loudmouth intake
