- Did you know that this Arrow Dynamics custom looping coaster was designed by Alan Schilke? He's the designer of all the RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) coasters like Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City, Goliath at Six Flags Great America, Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England, Medusa Steel Coaster at Six Flags Mexico and Lightning Rod, the launched wooden coaster at Dollywood.
Dollywood is located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Guy filming: ‘WOOOOOOOOOO!’
No you are very wrong, if you’d watch this channel you’d understand it is a duo and the people behind them were probably screaming the loudest. Unnecessary joke...
@@adam.edwards3 Cheer up mate
That's caus3 they were excited for the ride
What exactly is wrong with people being excited for a roller coaster ?
@WeShall4ttack I agree. This ride is nothing to be exited for. Probably city people screaming.
Dollywood is the most amazing theme park I’ve ever been to. I go there when I visit Tennessee to visit my grandma
One of the best things in Tennessee, honestly
Emory D I look forward to it every time we visit tennessee!
I'm reminded of the first time we ever heard of Dollywood. My dad asked, "Is that near Twin Peaks?"
i personaly didn’t enjoy it as i was only able to ride 3 rides in 6 hours at the park because of the long lines! still lots of fun
@@colefritz6695 Yep, that’s the issue when everybody has the same idea!
Wow, that's the smoothest Arrow I've ever seen, and considering who designed it, explains a lot...
You gotta love Alan Schilke’s designs!
@Grayson White well that's cuz that's a B&M, they're supposed to be!
Grayson White yes, smooth, and perfect for adrenaline seekers like myself.
Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg which I've ridden before is another smooth arrow you must ride sometime
This is the ONLY smooth Arrow I've ridden, and I've ridden most of Arrow's large loopers since 1982. Tennessee Tornado is the best Arrow I've been on, the only one I really enjoy. Loch Ness Monster is OK, but suffers jackhammering in the inversions, but it is smoother than other Arrows because Busch pours lots of time/money into it since LNM is a world-wide, signature attraction, and the place where coaster clubs & meetings began taking prominence. Roller Coaster Buffs International was the first club, but they were small & not well known (but the best club I've ever been in).
I've been on many coasters in my short life so far, but there's just something about this one that really stood out to me. A back seat must ride.
is your name a jtoh refrence?
Road it today with my wife in the final cart, your statement couldn't be truer with this one. We always try to grab the last cart, but this one especially gave you that "tip of a whip" type of pull effect
I made the mistake and got the front one lol when it went into the tunnel I was scared😂 but fun ride
I had been on the Tennessee Tornado many times, but I would always end up leaving the park with a migraine. The last time I rode it, which was many years ago, I decided to try the front car. It did the trick for me and it made me feel a little more in "control" (as it were) and it was easier to take. That first big dive always got me too, whoo! Now, I don't think I'd even try, even when I expect everything that's coming when I had been on it the other times. I think it just messes with my blood pressure! lol.
First ever upside down rollercoaster and it was amazing and this ride usually always has a short line to wait in! Tennessee Tornado you will always have a speak all place in my heart
Aw this was also my very first upside down coaster too!
speak all
Mystery mine was my first, then this one!
Same actually, I remember getting on this thing when I was 7 years old and scared to death. Been a few years since I've been to Dollywood but I'll never forget my first upside down coaster
Mine was wild Eagle then this then tornado
This ride is awesome! Lots of G’s in the back few rows. Super intense.
I almost bruised my shoulders and got knocked out in the back LMAO.
we were in the back and a raindrop hit my brothers eye, so he was squinting and I was on the verge of passing out lol
Sign said that 4G force.
I loooove the back on this ride!!
love how it interacts with the wooded surroundings!
Best part about theme parks is when you get closer to the park its the screams for me!! Love it!
Alan Schilke is a legend!
That first drop and loop after lit
I remember riding this a few weeks after it opened as a kid in 99, still one of my favorite coaster.
I can remember when this used to be The Thunder Express until the late 90s when I was in middle school. The Tennessee Tornado is the first inverted roller coaster that I ever rode on because I didn't like the idea of going upside down. Oddly enough, I ended up liking the loops better than the drops, which is why I now prefer inverted coasters to ones with lots of drops.
Out of all the theme parks I’ve been to that is my most favorite ride.
Love Dollywood. Cannot wait to go back in June next year for our 3rd time!
Nice Onride again as always! Because of your description, I now understand why Vekoma works together with RMC! Thanks a lot! Keep this channel going up! Greetings from a Dutch Rider.
Yes Dollywood! Someday I will here go and ride those coasters!🙂😎👍
I'm lucky because I live an hour away
@@TechBrosGamingChannel why yes you are! 🙂
@@lwillis112010 😊
@@mihara4730 well not me I'm NJ
Did you ever go on the roller coasters? 🎢
One of the most underrated coasters in the world. Honestly it’s my favorite Arrow Looper and it’s even ahead of Viper for me.
overrated arrow looper due to it being short as hell
@@boltgaming248do you know why everyone likes it? Because the profiling actually makes sense and is so smooth. It’s intense and enjoyable despite the short ride. Quality over quantityz
@@josephqualtier961 even if quality over quantity
QUANTITY DOES NOT EQUAL QUALITY
I would call the most overrated arrow because x² does deserve the love it gets
but I would still call it overrated because I Heard that it zooms through its 3 inversions
I think you must watch airtime thrills' video on the most overrated and underrated coasters from each manufacture
@@boltgaming248 Hater 🙄🖐
@@boltgaming248it's a walk-on, just get on again lol
I used to be very very scared of this ride. But then I did it and now I love it 😍
SAME
Loved this one!!
Got 3 rides on this today, from around 4pm till close. it was walk-on, honestly my second favorite ride in the park (behind lightning rod of course)
I'd rather go on a fantastic roller coaster that's short than an average coaster that's long.
Kind of a short ride but I like how it goes through all those trees. The color of the roller coaster is pretty nice, too. Subdued.
One of the best arrow coasters ever
This is my favorite roller coaster!
Lol my first inverted roller coaster. My dad said it didn’t go upside down. I confronted him when we got off, me crying. Come to find out, my dad actually thought we were getting on a mine train style ride. I wasn’t mad, because after that I overcame my fear of coasters. Now I will get on everything except random coasters in the middle of nowhere that probably receive no maintenance. Thanks dad.
my favorite ride! if you ever go to dollywood ride this , its so fun! the other ones are great to
Wow...short and sweet!!
Short ride but wicked fun. Lines for everything were short on our 97 degree day but this was so sparse I thought it was closed. Glad I rode it...
Love this ride! But man does it give you a headache!
*Modern Arrow Looper Number 1 Is Too Intense For Me*
*Corkscrew Coaster 1 looks too intense for me*
I'm not going on Corkscrew Coaster 1 while it's raining.
This was my first roller coaster I ever went on can’t believe it’s already been 7 years
This was my first roller coaster. I remember being just barely tall enough to ride. It was amazing. Definitely started my love for coasters.
I can’t believe I chickened out on this, what the heck this looks sick!
Love your vids bro
Will definitely give you a headache, but totally worth riding!
Nice vid bro! Keep making vids and you’ll soon reach 2mil subs. 👍
I loved this coaster
conquered my fear of roller coasters on this. almost passed out🤣 still love this ride tho!
This ride is one of my favorite at Dollywood
The setting and the lift and the unique drop all just makes this look like a top tier coaster, regardless of height or speed or number of inversions
-rabdomyoutubeusername
I remember the first time I rode this. "Is this an Arrow or a B&M?!"
Great stuff
I Rode this before but good views and Wounderful Day out.
I rid that and im young, but it was so fun! The best part is the loops, you get a terrified feeling, but also fun feelings!
Who else skips 10 seconds while it’s going up on the chain?
Are you kidding? Chain lifts are the best part!
I admit, I‘m doing it, it‘s me...
na fam, 20 seconds is the way to go!
I went 20. I usually like the chain lifts too, but I was just more curious of its layout.
Connection's too slow for me to do that. Yes, sometimes waiting for RUclips to do its thing without fast forwarding, even if it loads a little bit, is faster than fast forwarding to a part it hasn't loaded yet and waiting then
This is an Arrow masterpiece
This was my favorite ride
I distinctly remember pulling 9 muscles in my neck on this ride when I was younger
SMOOTH
My fav one!!
The rollercoasters=superfast
Chris Gaming boy What?
@@sayooky5661 don't even ask he does gatcha so he's 100 percent braindead
Archman 155 lol
@@Archman155 you are everywhere i go.
That thumbnail looks brutal 😳
My fav ride n the park.
I went on it. It was my first time going around in a loop!
Same
just got off it, literally in front of it right now, was a lot more tame than I expected
The trains also look really nice for an Arrow!
Awesome
Dollywood is my number one go to theme park other than Disney and im very close to it. This and Mystery Mine are my two of my favorites in the park!
The smoothest 2 vertical loops and a half loop .
In the mid 70's there was a wooden coaster at the original Elitches Gardens named Mr Twister, a bygone era for those lucky enough to have experienced it.
I've never been to Dollywood, but I literally love this coaster. The way it looks, how much the name matches the coaster itself, etc.
the drop makes you stand up it’s so steep. it doesn’t look to bad on the video but when you ride in real life it’s so scary 😟 hopefully you can go soon!
@@flowrr2127 hopefully!
RIGHT
Thats a B&M level shop in terms of convenience, I'm jealous. Crazy how the main track just runs straught theough the same building though.
Hiii,I LOVE THIS CHANNEL❤
Same
Me too :)
I rode on this for the first time and it was awesome
Went on this yesterday and that drop.. Good lord the G force 🤣
Arrow FOREVER ❤️
Arrow Dynamics got good towards the end. Shame they went out of business cause I’d be interested to see what they’d be making today if they still existed
My thoughts exactly!
We are going to Tennessee this Summer maybe in June and we are gonna go to Dollywood and I am so excited to ride the ride again
Most of June is spring.
@@timberbenyosef754 ik
If only Arrow embraced CAD and CAM like this earlier they would still be around. The only major Arrows we got using CAM were this and X2.
Nice slow day too nobody in line =)
Mt favorite roller coaster of all time, 'nuff siad.
this park look fun
We went on that thing, dear god was it fast
this was my first rollercoaster with inversions
This is the ONLY way I will ride this or ANY coaster
I went on this ride many times in my life, I’ve been going to Dollywood since 2014! I’m a little younger so obviously I didn’t ride the rides until a bit later in my life. I had to get over the fear.
If I had to give this ride an honest review, I would say it is great! I love the loops and the turning and twisting of the ride. It is a little bumpy at some times, but it is an older-ish roller coaster at least for me. The only confusing thing is that I had no gut feeling for the drop, but I did for the little dip before the drop. Anyone else experiencing this?
No damn way my ass is gettin on that. Lol 😂
This ride is badass. Man aarow and shille just a tad late. Love everything about this new classic
Looks like something even I could ride
wha-an actually smooth Arrow coaster, almost comparable to the earliest B&M coasters?
I went on this in front seat it is really fun
When i went down the tunnel i feel like i was falling from the sky😂
ARROW!
This was intense and fun, felt sick by the third loop 🤢🤣
Is Ric Flair on this ride?
I hear this is one of the better aero loopers. But that’s an aero lift hill if I’ve ever heard one.
Def recommend riding back seat on this. It's the only way you feel it
I had a legit panick attack before this ride, the rickety affect hurt my head so bad, and the loops were hell
This coaster was a blast at one time. It is wearing out and my over the shoulder harness wouldn't latch tightly. I came out of my seat in the loops and told them when the ride was over
Coming out of the seat is usually normal, there is a reason why the restraint is there
@@ponkypink3147 It was more than normal. My restraint moved a lot more than the other ones. They put that seat out of commission for the day so they could check it.
@@MemphisMojo15s I was talking about airtime and being out of the seat, the restraint wasn't normal
@@ponkypink3147 Ok cool. Thanks for clearing that up
I bet that guy sitting next to him would be so uncomfortable
Here's a fact: Everything from the vertical loop onwards lines up with NRBQ's Birdman.
Also, Danny kept their eyes open on this ride, marking it their first time they've kept their eyes open during an inversion!!
still gives me nightmares. Did it on May 1st of this year. It made me hate heights even more
This wouldn’t be so great if it weren’t a terrain coaster, but it really works. That loop was a little bit wonky though.
Debating on riding it. I have never rode a roller coaster ever before 😬😬
I literally rode it yesterday and I was bawling my eyes out up the hill. Once it fell I was laughing the whole time. It’s way more fun than you think
@@liamjangles I’m here rn. I’m very very nervous. I still don’t know
I love Dolly wood and big rollarcoster
was shocked when this ride made me gray out when ive ridden rides like fury 325
This ride pulls over 4g of force and Def one of the most under-rated coasters in the eastern us
WwHhOoOOoooooOoooo!!
looks like it moves left and right while upside down on the loops haha is the track crooked
Where is it?
scary ride
