Ohhhh yeah. '99 got Tennessee Tornado, '04 saw Thunderhead (my favorite wooden coaster at the moment), '07 saw Mystery Mine, I think 2012 was Wild Eagle, 2014 was Firechaser Express, and...2016 was Lightning Rod, I think. Haven't been since right after Lightning Rod opened.
A few weeks ago I went to Dollywood for the first time, and without knowing what I was getting into the first ride I went on was Lightning Rod. I died for a minute
@@KameWeeb Pssh, try 1999 buckaroo😂 this was my first “log ride”. I was telling my wife and daughter about it and got real nostalgic watching it. Great place.
This reminds me of the log flume we had a Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI. I wish I could of seen those seats. They look identical! This was the 90s when our park closed.
Simple, peaceful ride with a good drop at the end. Feels like it could use a little something more though, but I'm not sure what. Also interesting to see a chain lift on a log flume. Pretty much every other log flume that I've seen uses a conveyor belt for the lift.
The feeling u get whenever u watch this or actually on the ride and I go down its like the raft jumps whenever it goes down and I can't see what will happen next
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Robbie Hagberg is there rain expected to go on to all the time I think you should be fine with that you are not going anywhere with you and I can go back and get it tomorrow and I can go back and then go home and get it tomorrow and I can go back in the morning and I can go with you and I can get a pop up if you want them in the car back in I can go there and get it done before you leave me alone and I will get them tomorrow if I don't want them for me for anything else and I would like them for you for your help 🆘?
Dollywood is the only amusement park I have been to and I personally enjoy it very much,if you go there I would recommend The Dragonfly, The Firechaser Express, and the Wild Eagle ❤️ and all the water rides just bring an extra pair of clothes
I have been on this and it was so fun! Before the big drop though, it does trick you and was for it to go down. There is usually almost no line and we got to go on it without even getting off! 10/10 would totally recommend!
As someone who isn’t a huge fan of roller coasters I did enjoy this ride. However I did go on it with friends so I had people to talk to while on it but it is a slower paced ride
Amazing ride!! Every year at the end of our school year my principal buys everyone in the school tickets to dollywood!!! Its a shame she isnt here with us anymore (went to a new school) but it was awesome! All of the food, and rides were payed for!!!
I’m sitting in the chapel kinda near that ride rn and wanted to see what it was like and if I wanted to ride it, but other than the drop there’s nothing else to the ride compared to other log flumes I’ve enjoyed
Just went to Dollywood and did not get on this ride, now I am glad I did not. It seems like all it does is go up and down without and real scenery. Knott's Berry Farm's log ride has a lumber mill theme and their are multiple scenes and drops to make the ride more fun.
Rode this once, hated that there are no restaints. Obviously you don't need them and it's a moving ride so you don't have time to be buckled and have someone check it.... but horrifying still
This ride literally never stops and my autistic brother is slow and won’t get on ugh it’s so hard they had to stop it for him getting on/off also there’s no seatbelts just an fyi
The landscaping on this flume ride is incredible! Very scenic!
One of the best rides at the park. Started Dollywood‘s string of stellar additions all the way back in 1998.
I like Tennessee tornado
I like fire chaser
A few weeks ago I went to Dollywood for the first time, and without knowing what I was getting into the first ride I went on was Lightning Rod. I died for a minute
I went to Dollywood and I passed out two times on the lightning rod so
My first ever roller coaster was the lightning rod and i went to dollywood yesterday and it was the first one again
Same
Come to cedar point in sandusky ohio, ride steel vengence, lightning rod will feel like a breeze compared to steel vengeance
@@randywallace4888 yeah, is steel vengence wood or metal? lightning rod is the fastes wooden coaster
The water park and the coaster is fun to ride but damn the price of admission is out there this year..........
Still cheaper than Disney.
But everything in the park is much less expensive than other parks including food.
Totally worth it for me. Then again, I have a LONG history with Dollywood that dates back to at LEAST 2006.
@@KameWeeb Pssh, try 1999 buckaroo😂 this was my first “log ride”. I was telling my wife and daughter about it and got real nostalgic watching it. Great place.
We are going here for a feild trip Tommorow SO EXCITED
It is a w park
Hope you had a great time. Dollywood is my home park, and I absolutely ADORE it

The only other one I know of is Chiapas at Phantasialand
I see what you mean I never been there but something is definitely missing
The chain fits with the old-fashioned vibe
It could use a couple small drops before the end.
missing some country animals singing songs
The feeling u get whenever u watch this or actually on the ride and I go down its like the raft jumps whenever it goes down and I can't see what will happen next
Great camera work. Usually log flumes are hard to film the drop.
Not being familiar with the rides at Dollywood, I kept looking for a "daredevil" (stuntman) to fall in the front row. LMAO! 😆
That’s how I read it!
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?

@Elon Kamden Instablaster :)

I would rather watch these then actually get on the ride lol.
Same here! Lol!
The ride is not scary it’s super fun! My home park is Dollywood I ride everytime I go
I went to Dollywood today. Dont go on wield egale or lighting poll. the rest are super gun
CasonCODM Wild Eagle and Lightning Rod are the two best rollercoasters there.
I’m at dolly wood rn and I’m in the 3 hour long dragon flier line
Sad to see very little theming, especially with so many great flume rides that could act as inspiration.
God, I loved this ride, the drop always freaks me out.
You get that free falling sensation
Now I want to go to dollywood. I love those kinds of rides
Dollywood is my home park (I live in Knoxville, about 35 minutes away), and I can assure you, it's absolutely worth a visit. It's a FANTASTIC park.
Dollywood is the only amusement park I have been to and I personally enjoy it very much,if you go there I would recommend The Dragonfly, The Firechaser Express, and the Wild Eagle ❤️ and all the water rides just bring an extra pair of clothes
Me and my family love this ride❤
Was on that ride about a week ago. Was great. Loved dollywood. Going back next year

Wow that's quite a drop! I love how all the attractions use the topography of the site.
This is a bit of a surprise. I didn't think you were one for filming log flumes.
Love log flumes. But always thought Arrow should have put a little suspension on the wheels that bump into the sides. It's a bit jerky sometimes.
I was thinking that was an Arrow ride, by the sound of the lift.
Very jerky. Bumper cars are much smoother. Not a ride for me.
Excellent video! Made me feel like I was actually on the ride!
So exciting!
This was fun love water rides!!!!!!
Love this ride!!
I have rode this a lot and I love this ride
Love this ride faced my fears of going down now I love it
I like that the water is rough through the channel. Much more fun than the peaceful slow pace a lot of flumes have.
I was on this yesterday, it’s so much fun
not much to it but very relaxing up until the drop 😅
Wow, the view right before the drop
I remember riding this and I legit pasted out at the drop 😂
Oh wow, so funny ride. I wish we had it here in Sweden. 😍😍😍
I’m going to tmrw I’m so hyped
I remember getting on the front seat one time and you get soaked but it’s super fun
me and my family love this ride
This ride could use some addition of audio components to help with all the theming they placed.
As someone who isn’t a huge fan of roller coasters I did enjoy this ride. However I did go on it with friends so I had people to talk to while on it but it is a slower paced ride
That's a ride for Seniors. Videoing was stellar!
Cool ride!!
I'm sad this was closed when I went to the park last year. It looks like a very strong log flume.
I went to Dollywood in 2023 and I didn’t see the HUGE drop until I was too far in the line to go back 😅
Wow that's a lot of amazing water.😊
Going to ride this on the 4th hopefully
Amazing ride!! Every year at the end of our school year my principal buys everyone in the school tickets to dollywood!!! Its a shame she isnt here with us anymore (went to a new school) but it was awesome! All of the food, and rides were payed for!!!

I love this ride I love climbing up the best 😊
This looks quite rough going around the turns
What a great ride.😊
What an awesome video
I remember riding that ride
I really wish this had a restraint or seatbelt component
Bro same it feel like u about to fall off
That Rollercoaster is my favorite in DW.🎢
@Sebastian Freeman OK, a water slide-ride
*log-flume
some atmospheric music would be nice, otherwise it looks like a fun flume ride.
Me and my friend, didn’t know you couldn’t put your stuff in bins, and when we got on our bags were completely soaked
Looks fun.
I wish this ride had restraints
why
@@wurlitzer78 Because I don’t wanna feel like I’m about to fly off the damn thing
I liked your video so you’d get the likes but this ride was very lackluster, I was very disappointed in it. Thanks for the POV
If your coming to town and going to be here a few days go to Food City and buy a yearly pass to Dollywood. Its cheaper by far this way.
Is the ride op reading a magazine? at 3:40? lol
1 hill ?? I can handle that Perfectly riding
No seatbelts lol I live 2 hours away from there and we go all the time I just hate not having seatbelts
how high is the final drop?
59”
@@JAYLANDS1119 just a few feat taller then Splash Mountain in Cali
Awesome 😎
It looks way higher in person trust me
The track looks like rocks! Good theming. I wonder how much Dolly had to do with the design. I heard she hates thrill rides of all kinds.😊
I almost died i hurt my knee when i fell in the floor going down that was 2 years ago tho
Dang
If you don't like this one or don't plan on it try the river rampage it's fun and you still get wet at the same time but I recommend this one
No seatbelts lol I live 2 hours away from there and we go all the time I just hate not having seatbelts
Does that ride stope for you to get on
Good but short ride Cjd 🌌
I went on yesterday
I did it it was fun
i put my hands up last time and i pushed my feet against the floor board...and i turned out fine lol

Don’t knock it til’ you try it…

I went on their ride
This ride literally never stops and my autistic brother is slow and won’t get on ugh it’s so hard they had to stop it for him getting on/off also there’s no seatbelts just an fyi
I love Tennessee.
Frightining in the water 🧐😳😬
But I can I can cover my eyes not see it
Hey
❤❤❤
DOLLYWOOD I'm going to go to DOLLYWOOD for this summer
You go down the drop so fast you literally come up out of the seat
But there's no banjo tunes in the background....!
The only bad thing about this ride is they are no seat belts so when you go down that hill you pretty much r flying 😭
Uhh, when does Daredevil fall? Did I miss it?
3:57
@maceyyy123 I don't see a red costumed super hero
@@dcsomething6460 HAHAHA
We are on the daredevil we are on the daredevil we are approaching a lift hill we are approaching a lift hill lol
The only thing I’m scared of is the drops
Does this ride have foot braces?
I promise it’s not as bad as it looks
I work their when they open that ride
Miss work their
All of that for one drop???
Cute - but it’s no Splash Mountain
I got scared on it
🤔I absolutely 💯 wouldn't go on this thing 😅
I'm sorry but that ride looked boring.
literally off-brand cedar point lol
They literally set us up with this ride and didn't put lockers in this one, ON PURPOSE 😭😭😭
That ride was lame... the videoing was excellent though...
U GET SOAKED ON THIS
