Dream looks like a really good ship! Can't wait to try some bigger Carnival ships. The biggest Carnival cruise we've done is the Liberty (highly recommend that beautiful ship!)
Dream is a great ship, we really enjoyed our cruise on her in 2017. Pasta Bella is always good for lunch and away from the crowds. We can't wait for the Vista cruise with you guys and some other great people 😃

This ship has a special place in my heart as it was our first Carnival cruise ship! She's still a beauty! I've never had Pasta Bella. I need to remember that it's there. We always make a bee line for Guys and Blue Iguana. We try to stay away from the buffet the first day.😆I have never used Menu Mate. I think I've only seen someone there once on all of my cruises. They need to do better with that. That was a great shot of the Vista as you were leaving. How do you even sleep on a cruise?😆
I hear that so often, Dream was someones first Carnival Cruise. It took so long for us to finally sail on her. She was cancelled 3 or 4 times for us and that was not always from the Pandemic! Yes, Menu Mate needs some improvement. I could not believe we passed Vista, usually she sails out first! Hugs my friend!

Correct, just go to your muster station and they will check you in. There is a video in the app and a crew member will also give a short demo on the life vest. Takes only a couple minutes, no groups and no specific time just get it done as soon as you can. Have a great cruise!

I really enjoy the very detailed information you provide in the videos. I’ll be going on the Vista March’23 (spring break) I’ve never done excursions through carnival but would like to get some set before we go. I just don’t know where to start. The carnival excursions are pricey for just 3 hours..

We just got back and are leaving again on the 28th, on Royal, Freedom of the Seas, we have never done that ship, so wanted to try it. looking forward to another getaway, and then the New Year’s cruise on Oasis of the Seas!

Fyi. The drink package on Carnival is the only cruise line that does not offer the package on day one out of Texas. It is not a Texas rule it is a Carnival rule. Drink pkg starts day 1 on Royal

Hi! Thank you! Time change: It depends. Your cruise director will let you know well in advance if clocks will change according to your port of call or if you will stay on ships time. You will get a notice in your cabin and it will be announced several times over the speaker and usually your dining team will remind you. On our particular sailing we did change times but not in every port. MarQ our cruise director made announcements in the mornings to let us know. You are going to have a blast! Hi Favor and Robert. I love your vlogs. very instructive. Ive never been on a cruise and would like very much to go on one but my wife is hesitant. We live very near Galveston, (Clear Lake City) and have worked in Galveston when we were first married. What cruise line and ship would you recommend for a couple in their 60's?
Hi my friend! Hmm that is a big question! To recommend a cruise line I need to know a bit more about your personality and what type of fun you like to have! SO when I get asked this question this is my usual reply. If you like to join in on the fun, listen to music on the pool decks have plenty of grab and go included food options and enjoy a drink or two or more then Carnival is your line. If you prefer to sit back and watch the fun and listen to music but not all the time, like to have more quiet spots around the ship and fewer crew lead activities then Royal and or Norwegian are for you. If you really like to relax, have peace and quiet, top notch food choices, really fun but quiet/calmer crew lead activities and very little music around the ship and no water parks or water activities, only a pool then Princess is for you. We cruise Carnival for the Go, Go, Go cruise experince with lots of fun crew lead activities. We cruise Royal/Norwegian for the AMAZING Entertainment, the good food and the BIG ships with loads of different and often unique experiences. We cruise Princess to relax. We had a GREAT princess cruise but is is a slower cruise and there is nothing at all wrong with that! Hope this helps! Whatever line you cruise you can do as much or as little as you want. ANY of the lines you can find quiet places to relax and you can find good music and happening spots with dancing and lots of fun! Hugs!
Hi, If you are platinum or above once you are on the ship you can go and drop off in your cabin. Otherwise they ask that you not go to your cabin. That said, I try and wait until at least 11 or 12 in Galveston to allow our room steward time to at least get the last person's towels/sheets/trash etc out of our cabin so our items are not in their way. Hugs!
If and hopefully when we find out that my husband is in remission ( Dec 21st ) we might take a cruise instead of an all inclusive. I think that you have my personal email. Could you tell me there what crusies you have planned so if we do take a cruise we could finally meet with you ?
