I know Im late, but sometimes guys, Its not YOUR computer's fault. Sometimes the website your downloading from (depending on which one you use) can be slow on their end. I downloaded something on a major website and got 600kbs per second, another website thats basically a ghost town for me was literally 35kbs, that difference can be HUGE when downloading something big, like a gigabyte. If I am wrong about anything, let me know!

Hey! I usually have great download and upload speeds on my computer (usually 900-1000 mbps download and 60-100 mbps upload) my upload speed randomly stopped being fast and is now at 0.5 mbps. Do you know what may have caused this? Or how to fix?
Also, I forgot to mention that I get 500 mbps download and 100 mbps upload on my phone still... So i'm not sure how my phone has faster upload speed than my gaming pc...

the majority of the time google will have a slower download speed because the servers you’re downloading from could be somewhere far therefore slowing connection. basically the website you were trying to download from was just slow
go to windows icon on bottom left , then go settings , than go to network and internet , then ethernet , then change adapter options than right click on ur ethernet adapter then click properties , then click on configer , than go to advanced , than scroll down , than u will find an option call "speed and deplux" click on it , than in the right side set it to 1Gbps/internal deplux , then go up and click on "power managment" , then remove the ✔ out of every box , and finaly click on Ok in the bottom right , then close all windows -This took me 10Mins to write , but enjoy ur new results :]
It worked for about 10 minutes. IDK Maybe I'm trying to address the wrong problem. I'm downloading pics over wifi, and the count usually stops at 12 seconds left. Yes, I restarted the computer and my wifi extender is solid.
Another way to do this, is just go through your computer. Delete things you don’t use or won’t need. Delete accidental screenshots. Im being SUPER picky about this and still went from 400kbs to 2mbs and I’m still going.

I have a weird problem i am trying to download multiple big games but my download speed only goes to 3mbs. but when i am on youtube i can watch videos in 4k but i noticed that the download speed of the game does go lower but the video uses way more than 3mbps. also i am downloading the games not just from steam but other services too. the other service is even lower usually between 400kbps and 30kbps when i stop downloading with steam the other game jumps to 3mbps but its still much slower than i would like. i also did some speed tests but they always give different results. sometimes it says i have 60mbps other times it says i only have 10 but that has always been an issue. anyway its still way faster than 3. according to task manager i am only using around 8% of my network speed. i have tried a lot of things but nobody has similar issues to me its just when their entire network is slow.

Have you gone over your data limit for your internet provider? You can call them and upgrade your limit from 2mbps a month to up to 100mbps per month. If you do fiber-internet that could get you up to a couple gbps

That’s because what ever you’re downloading from isn’t allowed to use every drop of bandwidth possible and are limited to a percentage

Get Revo uninstaller, it's free and allows you to fully uninstall them from your PC properly
