Excellent video, Nibs. I've read about the rc bearing mod on crosman triggers, but never seen it performed before.

It really made a huge difference on my Crosmans!
Id like to try all of the combinations to see if it does change the weight or feel of the trigger
(See if the return spring really does anything and test the longer screw Vs bearing mod.)
*But I still have to buy a trigger scale 😅*
_When "Oh Shoot" said it was using the Crosman trigger I couldn't believe that they could have used a break barrel style trigger on a pcp but apparently I was wrong haha_

Great work Nibs. I guess I'm not surprised it uses the same Crosman chinese trigger group! LOL Do you have any idea how much FPE the Beeman 2028 is getting compared to the 2027? I like my .22 calibers better. LOL

Thanks I was wondering what it looked like it's basically similar design as the chaser but with a different trigger system basically from a crossman. Is the trigger frame removable? on the chaser the trigger frame is welded to the tube. that tube would be great for turning a chaser in to a hpa it would give it a stock/original look to it to. The chaser can be converted to hpa but it's not really appealing at all when using the stock chaser tube. If you have a 22cal chaser the barrel its a easy swap to convert it to a 22caliber pyrimidine air gun sells the parts. Individual 💯🎯👍✌️🍻🛠️

Thanks Nibs, I’d heard about the bearing mod (thanks for giving the brand you used and size but I hadn’t got around to it because I did the trigger sear screw mod. There’s a small socket screw behind the trigger that using an Allen key you can screw in further for less sear engagement. Screwed in all the way it was Ok but a longer screw let me take it down more. With the longer sear screw, I turned it in until the pistol wouldn’t cock. So no sear engagement. Turning it back out a quarter turn at a time I got the lightest engagement and then backed it out another quarter turn to be safe. Really nice crisp let off but the first stage IS over sprung. So I’ve got to get a bearing. Can I ask you though, with the bearing, you don’t have any return right? Can you describe what it feels like?

It is a crisp single stage trigger now vs the 1/4 of spring spongyness they call a two stage.

I did your mod on my 2027, i even used the same bearings that you did. But it didn't let the locking pawl drop low enough to lock the sear. From what i can tell the bearings are just a hair too thick. Did you modify the contact point on the locking pawl to allow more space?

I didn’t have to change mine at all.

I modified a nylon bushing, a little thinner than the bearing, and it worked fine. Maybe mine had tighter tolerances. Great video, thanks. Definitely made the trigger pull lighter

I hope there is something to do to the trigger in the Legacy because it is horrible!
