What is this? Linus Tech Tips?
I am curious too
And then goes straight into the sponsor haha
his cousin or the nearly fat guy that is now fit
Lol

I may have to see if they do a 65% Mecha keyboard. I was going to buy the regular one but after seeing the Mecha... I want one lol.
Wonder when that's coming out. Cause i like my arrow keys too.
Good choice
It is a great keyboard if you are just using your PC for browsing the internet and checking mails. But does not have enough keys to satisfy a gamer or content creator.
Qotroz, depends what games your playing. The reason many like the mini is you get more room to run the mouse. Many FPS gamers like to move the mouse with their entire arm and not just the wrist.
@@rtk114 I play several different FPS games on low sensitivity and I use an extended steelseries mouse pad that is pretty big, along with a full sized keyboard with numpad and I have at least 5 to 6 cm between my keyboard and mouse pad.
1:38 aluminum case
4:15 key sound test,
You have done God's work.
When watching your videos a month back I felt that you lacked energy and was a little bit worried that you may have any real life issue. Now you look full of energy and happy and I'm glad you do 😊 keep up the great work, your videos are a treat to watch
I just got my Ducky One 2 Mini White about a month ago, and it's just such a great keyboard. I was very skeptical about the 60% layout (and I do miss the arrow keys in particular), but I chose to go with it because of how easy 60% keyboards are to customise when it comes to cases and keycaps. I got a wooden case for it and changing it from the original to the new one was shockingly easy, it basically took me 10 minutes. My favourite thing about it (other than the looks - the white keycaps in a wooden case looks super clean) is how the sound has changed in the new case. Typing on it sounds soooo satisfying.
PapaQ you desoldered every single switch in 10 mins?
@@thealleyway525 That's the point - no desoldering is needed. Remove the keycaps, unscrew 6 screws, move the keyboard internals to the new case, put the 6 screws and the keycaps back in their place and you're done. It was super easy.
Unlike full size and TKL keyboards, a lot (not all) of 60% keyboards seem to share the same basic design, when it comes to screw holes, USB connection in the back and even the dipswitch thing at the bottom. It was really easy finding a new case where the Ducky One 2 Mini would fit perfectly.
@@papaquonis Thanks for all these informations ! I just orderer the Ducky One 2 Mini Pure White litteraly 5 minutes before knowing the Mecha exist and I was a little bit upset but now I know that i can easily customize the Ducky One 2 Mini and i'm really happy ! :D
How much?
If you don't mind. What Wooden case did you get for it? I'm looking for one myself. Thanks!
Nice breakdown, I actually received mine a few days ago and love it. My first 60% keyboard.
Where were you able to purchase the mecha?
I appreciate that you changed your sound setup to capture the sounds you wanted us to hear.
You look way too much like star lord from guardians of the galaxy.
Jaemz cahrles every video for years lol
He doesn't resemble Chris Pratt so much.
@@hamzahamid2543 I think it's the beard/stubble
And that small plant is groot and ebra is rocket
I bet Starlord would use a mechanical keyboard...
Just Pre-ordered one today, thanks for the review.
Got mine on the 4th of dec and I love it!
The ASMR I didn't know I needed
Try the relaxing End on youtube. :)
Hardware Canucks. Now with 20% more asmr. I love it.
A Mecha SF would be amazing, I love my One 2 SF
The quality of this video is so good I'm willing to watch the ad...
My first mechanical keyboard is a Ducky. I love it! Elegant, not over the top gamery look, perfect quality.
Nice to see a classic review video.
Just put in my order for the Mecha and I have to say while I'm concerned (going from 100% to 60%) about the massive step down in buttons, arrow keys included, it appears as though there are comfortable solutions around most problems most users might have. I hope everyone can get the keyboards they want!
This is a gr8 keyboard
Looking forward to getting this in these holiday offers
Just ordered it today cant wait to get it
Really wish for a Ducky One 2 SF Mecha with normal [altGR, FN] all PBT and a INSERT key on the right. ( above the arrows)
Good stuff on not talking over the unboxing experience - it is very satisfying watching with the sounds of cardboard and plastic alone.
Definitely my all time favorite keyboard. The 65% format does sound interesting though since there are those few games that are easier to play with the arrow keys or their button layout requires it like south park the fractured but whole. Got mine with cherry mx silver switches and couldn't be more satisfied. The Logitech G910 orion I had before this was a close second their switches are also really nice. Still need to test some gateron and kailh switches.
i love the video, love both boards i plan on getting the ducky mecha mini soon i need the blue switches because i like my board to sound loud for sure
That unboxing ASMR tho ❤️!
Imagine Ducky making a 65% Mecha with hot swap! Now THAT would be awesome!
does Ducky make any hotswap boards?
@@khickling3746 they have the limited edition year of the rat which is hotswappable
Good to see that you're finally reviewing Ducky products after all these years.
Yeahhhh i would kill for a one 2 sf steel edition or something. Love the 65% design and i love metal boards.
Steel? You good?
love the sound of the keystrokes.
Loved the AMSR
Omg I LOVE that space bar keycap!!
I'm in love, I need that keyboard!
wow, Dmitry with glasses! 😍😍😍
10/10 I enjoyed the ASMR Unboxing. I DEMAND MORE.
I been using the DK9087 since 2014 now and while the wasd may have faded somewhat, the keys still feel amazing.
rlly, RLLY nice sound dude!
Another great review keep it up!
I think the reddish tint on white RGB modes has to do with PBT. I have the same issue on my Corsair PBT caps since I swapped out from the stock ones, guessing it refracts out the RGB a bit differently to other materials. Might look different on pure white leds
Just ordered this bad boy, can't wait to try it, next month.
Just curious if you preordered or found it somewhere because I can't lol
@@donteberberena5720 You gotta pre order them and just wait it out. It sucks but if you don't you're just gonna wait for them to available again anyway.
I won't get mine shipped out until June 1st, unfortunately. Or if you are feeling ballsy you can always order from a sketychy seller on Newegg or Ebay.
I recommend to pre-order and just wait it out.
I've had my full size Ducky since way before their 60% boards made them cool. Glad they are finally getting the respect they deserve.
Ok?
Came here for the review stayed for the ASMR!
I can tell by the smile that you like Ducky keyboards my friend. Trust me I am sold as well. (:
Just a suggestion...you should test the stabs on each keys in your sound test individually!
0:40 I think you should flip it around first
Canucks - "listen to these feet"
both of us - "nice"
this vid is always in my recommendations
Hope they make a white SF version but if not hopefully just and SF version would be nice!
Thanks chris, love the movies
I absolutely love that watch.
Where'd you get that Chris?
Damn! I hope the TKL version will be come
Good Review - Keep it up.
Ducky: the pride of Taiwan🇹🇼!
A white mecha mini sf is my ideal keyboard :P Maybe sometime in this decade!
Waiting for the TKL version of this
"But with a few **key** differences."
I see what you did there.
That's some ASMR stuff you're doing there!
Still happy with my Blackwidow elite
*_"Listen to the sound of de'feat"_*
or de feet
Didnt know Chris Pratt reviewed keyboards. Subscribed
I really want that trick or treat spacebar
Thanks to your video I removed that plastic cover on the back emblem hahahahaha thanks man! I've had this keyboard for like 2 years now
The One 2 SF is not available in my country, so I am considering the One 2 Mini. It would be my first non-full sized keyboard. Hope it's not too hard to get used to!
Heya Dmitri. Thanks for featuring Mecha Mini. I'm a 65% guy myself, as I use the arrow keys + CTRL to navigate all the time = no-go on 60%.
So are ya confirming the 65% Mecha Mini SF? Is that coming? If it is, then I'll happily wait. This Mecha Mini checks a lot of boxes, but I'm gonna stick to my Durgod Hades 68.
@Cody Scott Thanks Cody! As i said, I have a Durgod Hades 68. I also shopped around for your Akko before committing to mine, but what tipped me over was Durgod's software, price point, and key switch options. I opted for a Gat Silent Brown -- pretty rare find for a production board. Love it love it. RGB backlight on mine too on the rare cases I use it, plus fast shipping, all for less than the Akko.
I'll wait for that Ducky Mecha Mini SF due to the build quality, programmability, and extra keycaps that brighten it up. Akko is cool too, love that brighter colorway.
After listening to lubed switches these now sound like mx blues lol!
Great keyboard wish it was cheaper great job in the vid u are awesome
That spacebar keycap is rad
they made 50 of them and did a giveaway in like 2019 and i won 1 but i guess they’re making them again now
Does it have a longer response time due to the new floaty design or is it the exact same?
That's an epic thumbnail
Just ordered this one since my Romer-G equipped Gpro started breaking off keycaps and we can't get any replacements here. Logitech doesn't even cover it under their support page anymore lmao. Last time I got anything with proprietary keycaps. Can't wait to try out the ducky mecha.
bruh I was half asleep watching this on my phone I thought lego made a keyboard.
Ohh yeh I gotta wait till this drops cause I have the white border on my one 2 mini
Still love the stealth of my hunts te
Still waiting for that Mecha SF, its available but super limited :(
Damn this is a fire key board!
These look awesome. I want one, but TKL just works better for my usage. As a developer, I use the dedicated F-row too often to add an extra key hold into the mix just to get that functionality. The same goes for the arrow keys, end, home, and delete keys. :'(
You can still use your f keys on 60% keyboard
I am planning to move down to 60% from 65. This one looks gorgeous tbh.
Thats too drastic. You should go to 63% keyboard, then 60%
🤣
Did they really send you that Halloween Spacebar with the Mecha mini? Or were you one if 40 winners during the Halloween giveaway?
Shame ducky doesn't sell RGB compatible key cap sets worldwide. Would like some color for me DE layout with RGB ofc.
TheBitFox Caseking has some key sets for RGB and some none RGB sets. If you want complete sets, dann probiere es doch über Amazon.
looks great, but annoying it doesn't seem to come with mx clears
I hope they do a one 2 mecha mini pure white
“Just listen to the sound of the feet... nice”
haha
Hi Dimitri, have you reviewed the Ducky Mecha SF?
Is there a new version of the One 2(TKL) coming too?
I have the original ducky one 60% with two led colour choices and I wouldnt use any other brand. I also have a ducky shine 3 which has never had a problem apart from when I dropped E liquid on the board however even then it still works even now
Overpriced
@@olian7542 look up rama, keycult and exclusive keyboards 😂
@@olian7542 No, the quality is worth the price. My shine 3 has still better build quality than any other brand like famous Razer oder Corsair mechanical Keyboards.
@@Rxconfigure Yes very sturdy and much better than all the Logitech keyboards i had before.
@@olian7542 Zealios want to know your location
The aluminum frame is nice but the key caps have less of a “ping” sound on the original plastic mini.
I was about to buy a alu case for my mini from KBD fans but this review helped me. I am sticking with the plastic case. I want as little ping as possible
@Complaint hmm how to explain. it is the ''echo'' that happens inside the case of the keyboard when pressing down the key. Mecha got aluminum case and the mini has plastic. aluminium gives more echo sound, ping, but it feels more premium with alu case, if you care about that. other than that it doenst really matter. if you cant tell the difference of the ping sound, get the mecha if you have the money as it feels more premium.
Ducky is hands down the best keyboard brand out there, been using them for years. Currently rocking the TKL Skyline.
How did you get that Halloween space bar
Ducky better have planned SF Mecha too
If they do this with the SF I will insta buy it!!!
wich keyboard from ducky is the best for you?and what tipe of switch is the best for gaming?
Since when did star lord start an unboxing channel?
the mx brown asmr tho
Am in the market for a new keyboard.
I really like the asthetics of 60% boards but I don't think I could live without arrows or F keys and don't want to gamble by buying one to find out.
The 65% boards look too cramped so I guess TKL is my only option?
If you're looking at different layout options don't forget to check out Vortex keyboards as well. They offer very nice layouts that, as far as I know, Ducky does not have.
This or the massdrop alt? Both are similar in price
I spilt coffee on my steelseries apex pro tkl and now I got the mecha mini!
The pink glow instead of white is because its a combination of all the RGB colors, it would have to be RGBW to have a true white color.
Amazing..... does it come in white? :D
Can't tell if dmitry is so passionate about KB's that he did the unboxing in that ridiculous ASMR fashion or what
you really should check out the one from kemove called the "snowfox". Amazing value for super low price. Hot swappable and DOESN'T use the optical switches.
Really? Now I have to get this even though I got my one 2 mini last summer
