Can the shifter be mounted on the top of a vertical handlebar so that it is above the hand position to be able to shift using the thumb and index finger?
I wish you could show me how to takeoff the handlebar part of that I got the rear wheel part down but the handlebar actual shifter is what I’m having problems with??

Not easily, but anything is possible with custom work.
