You need to discuss errors in the installation. For example if the cables loosen at the handle bars, if the cable becomes frayed. I’ve been to three bike shops who had no clue what to do. Finally installed a heavy puncher proof intertube on the back wheel. And watched lots of videos. 10,000 km done
In which position should be shifter before we start with rear wheel removal? Is it imoprtant? I only know that we aren t suppose to touch shifter once we disconected cables..

I can't get enough slack to reconnect the second cable. I've loosened the cable tensing nuts at handlebar as far as possible. Please provide an answer, by the time you do I will have gone crazy from frustration, but it could help someone else down the road.
@@mo-yx6yw The solution was actually simple, I loosened the wheel hub nuts and slid the rear tire forward. The shifter is in the hub. I had the cable hold downs loose too, connected the cables then reapplied tension after lining everything up.

This is essential (loosening cable tension), this video does not seem realistic for how hard this could really be with proper tension in the cables.
