    Looked at a few of these how to cook a ham on here all have bamboozled me. But this explained it all so easy and straight to the point. No arty farting around with add this and add that. Now I can get on with it in the morning on christmas morning. Thanks.

    So, can you make crackling with the skin you removed?

      Hi Tracy, it would be difficult to make crackling with this skin as it is very wet from being poached, so it would need to dry out fully and it may also be quite tough from the curing process. We hope that helps 😊

    why not just throw away the "scum" or whatever instead of scooping it into another bowl?
