  • Today we are continuing part one where I was kicked out of City Hall in Alton, Illinois for simply exercising my first amendment right to record in the public areas and gather information to disseminate. If you haven’t seen part one, make sure you watch that video before you continue with this one. All contact information will be included in previous video.

    I just came across your channel today and I’m of the opinion that you do excellent work. I just got done binge watching a lot of your content. In 2024 it is absolutely amazing just how ignorant law enforcement is. It’s actually mind blowing! First amendment auditing has been a main stream thing for 7 to 10 years. The Turner V. Driver decision out of the fifth circuit is already seven old.
    Keep up the good work my friend.

    The supervisor don’t give a flying f. about what his officers did. Good follow up though and follow through with the FOIA, because their feet has to be held to the fire. Those officers violated your rights and were super rude while doing it. Make sure you follow through with this one because this is where the education about our rights to public servants are important . Be safe. Thanks for posting both the panic button call in and the government employee's 911 call. Hopefully you can get Officer Leave's body cam footage of his interaction with Karyn. Pushing a panic button in a government office absent of an emergency is criminal and she needs to be fired, fined and possibly jailed. What do you think would happen to any of us if we went in there and pulled a fire alarm?
    They may not have filed any paperwork on this whole interaction to cover it up and destroy the footage.
    Keep up the passive exercising of our rights and stay safe.
    P.S The more critics you see in the comments section means the more the corrupt employees fear what you're doing!

      I like your comment but panic buttons are needed in government buildings with some of the militant fringe groups (on both the left & right) that want to end our freedoms.
      The onus of this whole situation falls on Karyn for MISUSING a panic button. She needs to be fired and brought up on charges for her actions.
      I hope CTI can get access to Officer Leave's body cam footage and we can see his interaction with her.

    I really dont like when you ask for money. Or ask people to send money to someone. It lacks integrity. Its no different than a preacher asking his congregation for money. Do this because you want to make a change. As you said was your intention. People will always give and pay money for things they desire to. No need to ask. When you ask and talk about money it cheapens your cause.

    What Supreme Court case states that filming is "official business"? The Supreme Court has never ruled in regards to filming in government buildings so I'm curious what case you're referring to? You should actually read Branzburg v. Hayes because it 1000% doesn't say that & has zero to do with what you're doing!!!

    • @NicholasAlt

      What law forbids it? The DEFAULT is people have the RIGHT to do everything not against the law. Also, The "executive" branch of government doesn't create law.
      There is federal circuit caselaw in at least 3 circuits that recognize we have a right to film public employees performing their duties while in public.

    • @baazinga13
      @baazinga13 Месяц назад +1

      @@NicholasAlt those are circuit court cases not the Supreme Court & all of those cases also state you can film with reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions, which is decided on by the forum not him!! All of those cases were in traditional public forums like sidewalks, streets & parks, not a government building!! He also quoted a Supreme Court case that doesn't state what he claims & actually really doesn't apply!! It's obvious he's getting his information from other RUclips channels & not actually reading the cases!!!!
