Hello and welcome to my latest flight sim video. In this video I am looking at a rather unique-looking aircraft, the Beechcraft Bonanza V35. This aircraft has a V-shaped tail. Just how good is it in the sim?

Whenever I go for a Bonanza in the sim, it's usually the Black Square A36 overhaul, just for the systems depth they have and the flight dynamics are the closest to my real A36 that I'm lucky to call my own. However, the Carenado's V35 cockpit has an older layout that is more similar to my A36. I just got an avionics upgrade from a 530/430 dual stack system, but other than that, it's a really good job on the visuals side, almost identical to my old setup. The engine instruments in the middle, the engine management control systems, and the trim system and electric switches are all spot on, the 6-pack is very, very close (I have a Bendix attitude indicator, different airspeed indicator though this one I have seen before on a real V35, my ILS indicator is where the NDB indicator is because I didn't have an NDB, and the turn/slip indicator is where the ILS indicator and is situated below an electric clock). Carenado modeled this very nicely

@@ParCBur I must try the Black Square version. Have tried their stuff before and found them excellent at adding realism and depth into the sim.

On Xbox we don’t have access to other versions. I love this aircraft and fly it a lot. Comparing this to A2A is a little unfair because few products compare to A2A. Having said that I didn’t pay 50$ for it either. Unless it’s really obvious I wouldn’t know an accurate flight model from the little balsa rubber band planes I used to play with. I love my Comanche! But I’ve never been disappointed by anything from Carenado.

@@stefanblackadder5236 oh I agree, this is a good little aircraft that dont break the bank balance and still comes fully working. Comparing it to the A2A aircraft would be a little harsh but I think this Bonanza does stack up quite well against other sim aircraft

Burning Blue Design has defined the standard for small airfields. I was just planning a trip from East Hampton to Martha's Vineyard when I ran across your video. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!

@@FlightSimVRDad they have a real gift for creating some great scenery packs. Alot of work goes into some really small details to bring that scenery to life

@@CraftySimulations They do bring their airfields to life. I did some content including Turweston and Old Warden not long ago and both airfields are spot on. BTW Microsoft did a great job with the last city update. Check out the east end of Long Island. I think they gave us a teaser of Flight Simulator 2024. BTW, I gave you a sub! -Mike

@@CraftySimulations I just dropped a video from East Hampton to Marth's Vineyard with a low flyby over Block Island Airport. The houses in the Hamptons look hand crafted even up close. You would swear Jerry Seinfeld and Hugh Grant are throwing Pop Tarts in the air at Jerry's beach house.

I wonder what A2A will have to say about this 🐸Ah thats a carenado plane...i feel they are not threatened by it then 😇

@@vedymin1 oh most definitely A2A have nothing to worry about with their aircraft. But I would say the V35 isn't marketed as better then A2A, its a cheaper different alternative that looks rather unique

That ghosting could be linked to frame rates generation option ?

@@vedymin1 I thought that too. But ive removed all the frame gen stuff ages ago when I tried it. I suppose there could be something lingering in my sim still causing the issue. Will have to check.
