Static strength is no joke. Tryed armwrestling an older dude in my gym, who is amateur arm wrestler, could not move his arm, even though I have bigger arms. I felt like a kid armwrestling a dad.

A person with bigger and denser muscle, will lose to a smaller actual armwrestler, even if they both have good technique. Unless the strength gap is quite dang large overall.. then the non-armwrestler can get away with it (if we give him good enough technique).
Just grab the table and use your whole body weight and also literally fall to the ground so the guy has to basically hold your entire body weight with his arm to win, thats how arm wrestling works right right?right?right?right?right?

Saw a guy doing deadlifts with his toes up on a platform and heels on the ground doing straight leg deadlifts. After he was clearly in pain. Didn't want to tell him differently because I'm the skinny guy.
I honestly have never watched anything about arm wrestling or bodybuilding until I started watching these videos with JuJi and Devon . I think how Devon is able to explain things in ways to make less educated people understand things is amazing and they have inspiring attitudes that is intoxicating in a way that you can't stop watching. I didn't know anything about arm wrestling and these videos with Devon have been exceptional. Guy is not only super strong, he's also a born teacher and natural storyteller, with a lot of that Canadian niceness attached. Impossible not to love the guy!

Devon's arms aren't that "big" because his triceps are so underdeveloped compared to his biceps and his wing span is massive also you don't need much triceps in armwrestling so it makes sense

Devon's arm measurement is smaller than Juji's just because his triceps aren't developed to the point of his biceps. I could only imagine how many more inches he'd get there with his triceps trained for while.

I've watched him in the contests for a long time, but this is the first time I've ever just seen him outside of the competitions and having his personality out there. He's more in-your-face when competing, but a totally different guy just hanging out here.

Denis is on some serious PEDs and they admitted that if you want to beat him you would need to take PEDs like crazy in order to keep up... and I know Devon said he wasn't willing to take that risk. Devon is all about technique and has a crazy amount of strength, I may be wrong but I personally don't think he juices, just because of his respect for the sport of arm wrestling. John Brzenk has beat denis in the past and Devon has beat john in the past. I think right arm ( devons strongest arm) and if Devon was back to his full 265 weight like he was against Jerry then he might stand a better chance but without taking any PEDs I don't think anyone stands a chance to beat Denis because Denis is just going to take more and more stuff. which is sad to see in this sport because people like Devon and John who train their whole life and have that natural strength and technique get overshadowed by Denis who is taking a mass amount of PEDs but hey that's sports for you.

I'm not afraid to say this one bit. I'm totally no homo obsessed with Devon and everything he does. I find myself watching every damn RUclips video I can find with him in it. The guy is just unreal. So glad I came across this a while back but also mad at myself that I didn't know who he was before then.
You guys are hilarious. Been watching arm wrestling videos for about 4 hrs lol. It's like hand/arm chess, with power. Like with pretty much everything, their way more to it than expected.
Just to bring some training vocabulary into this. What Devon showed was a unilateral, isometric hammer curl hold on the preacher bench. It is a way to strengthen the muscle, bones, tendons and ligaments without causing muscular damage. It actually wont create sarcoplasmic hypertrophy but will increase strength.

I'm not afraid to say this one bit. I'm totally no homo obsessed with Devon and everything he does. I find myself watching every damn RUclips video I can find with him in it. The guy is just unreal. So glad I came across this a while back but also mad at myself that I didn't know who he was before then.

You guys are hilarious. Been watching arm wrestling videos for about 4 hrs lol. It's like hand/arm chess, with power. Like with pretty much everything, their way more to it than expected.
Just to bring some training vocabulary into this. What Devon showed was a unilateral, isometric hammer curl hold on the preacher bench. It is a way to strengthen the muscle, bones, tendons and ligaments without causing muscular damage. It actually wont create sarcoplasmic hypertrophy but will increase strength.
