I can truly never tell if Devon is just messing around with someone or if he is actually struggling.
I know man its mind boggling. He can go from looking like hes suffering a full blown seizure to a general conversation with controlled breathing. Makes no sense to me. Different kind of breed.

I have only just discovered Devon Larrett recently. What an interesting guy man.
He does seem like someone interesting. I also only heard of him recently, thanks to that video about schoolboy armwrestling random people can-you-beat-school-boy video. Cool stuff.
Moments like that is what I love about Devon. He's a true ambassador to the sport but in the same breath he can flip the script and talk shit. He isn't the strongest in the game but he is a master of his craft and He has stamina for days.

Devon seems to be getting bigger with time but I don’t think he’ll ever match some of these dudes. His bread and butter is straight up king move stamina. Like a camel in the Desert.

Can you imagine professional athletes from any other sports just tutoring complete newbies? Like, Mike Tyson sparring with someone who's never thrown a punch or Mike Phelps teaching swimming techniques to someone who can't swim at all. That's how wholesome Devon and the Arm Wrestling community are as a whole and I respect that.
Humans beings should share, because we all took from others to get where we are. This is a big issue in music. So many people becoming so big-headed they start to think their music happened in a bubble, and they don’t give time to others.
Schoolboy is going to be a scary beast once he reaches that "grown ass man strength". This isn't even his final form!

I confess I havent watched any arm wrestling vids in a while, I forgot how great it is watching Devon own people, but also how he's always more than willing to teach, you can see how much respect he has for the sport. Makes me happy seeing how good a relationship you both have with him too! Always quality content!

Devon's the strangest guy I've seen, and I mean that in a good way. In any moment he can seem to have the biggest ego, uttering taunts and vocalisations as he wrestles, almost laughing in the faces of his opponents. Then he can switch and take on a Canadian Yoda persona, very giving, very patient, offering himself up as a practice opportunity and guiding other wrestlers into doing better against him.
It's captivating to watch.
Rekaert watch his most watched awl vid i forget who it was against. In the middle of the match he says something like “ FUCK YOU I OWN YOU” then right after he wins hes like “good try better luck next time”
It's all part of the sport. Listen to Michael Jordan. Great humble guy when hearing him 1 on 1, but he'd mentally break down his opponents so that they felt defeated before the game was even over

I like these public settings a lot. Everybody is super friendly but at the same time really serious about it. These kids really want to challenge themselves and you can see they really go for it. Devon is great in the way he manages himself. He's a fantastic ambassador for his sport. Awesome.

I think a lot of people forget that Devon doesn’t give it 100% because he doesn’t want to break their arms. Like sometimes he gets himself into positions with these street matches that he can’t really get out of it, but that’s only because he didn’t hit at the beginning of the match. He allows himself into those positions to not hurt the other person and so he can train in them.

I watch your videos and think I want to meet this man and shake his hand for extending my life 1 more day. Cause even when I want to quit and just give up. You make me think. I haven't seen 3 of my children since 2018. I have a beautiful 1 yr old with my gf but we r not doing good. I fear I won't see any of my children graduate. Devon, Juji, and Toproll Bros are doing more for the sport in terms of making people aware of it, than WAL has ever done. Just coming up with interesting videos and concepts to get people unfamiliar to click the video and then they are getting all kinds of arm wrestling content in their recommended vids. I would have never gotten introduced and watched a million vids if Schoolboy didn't hold an open challenge in the city and bet all comers that he would win.
Keep up this kind of creativity and the sport will continue to grow, without a doubt.
