I made it into one of Devon’s videos! I’m almost a real armwrestler now! This was an AWESOME event. I got to see a bunch of friends and meet a few legends, for the first time.

Agreed Seth. Devon is an amazing teacher! I can't tell you how grateful I am, especially as a first timer, for the time he took to show me things on the table before my matches started. I got to this event before noon and Devon was working with pullers. And I left after my 176 pound event concluded - around 4pm - and he was still working with folks.

@@happycanayjian1582 he stated a few times that he wasn’t willing to risk his life to get big enough to make levan’s 100% unnatural strength… aka he wasn’t willing to pump that much juice just to win. With that said, he did juice to get where he was and that alone was too much for his liking. Less than a day after the KOTT4, he stated he’s going back down to his actual weight class. And I remember him joking about ditching that belly 😂 imagine how much of that was just water retention.

For real, Eastern arm wrestler focus on core/lifting strenght even more than table practice and they are crushing western arm wrestlers. Maybe lifting really heavy weights helps even more if you already got such a great technique.

Yo Devon, you need to mic your shirt so we can clearly hear, you teaching is so damn interesting the way you can look and give advice specific to your opponent. It's a shame that the audio is recorded so far away. Wireless mic or some portable audio device dedicated capturing your voice. This stuff is good content anyway and it could be so much better.

@@theplaymakerno1 He took a break after Levan and went through a bicep injury too so it's obvious that there have been slight changes to his form. Is he as strong as he was against Levan? I think if he goes in with the intent to pin (when he's actually trying), he's slightly less or almost as good as he was against Levan. But I believe his containment strength (resisting power) has dropped down probably because of his age and injuries throughout his career. Or maybe who knows maybe he's just giving away too much intentionally just to play around with everyone!?
It has yes, he’s not on a crazy cycle anymore. Paul Linn is a beast tho to give everything away and go into that defensive position just to hold. That’s a lot of side pressure from Paul on the A side of the table in his hook
