Last week i asked my therapist why there is no support for autistic parents. Im diagnosed w classic autism level 2.5 and ptsd. Im recently seperated from my kids dad because he will not stop abusing alcohal. Or himself. Or us. Im so tired and burned out. I left the car door open wide open, not just unlocked, when i went into the grocery store last week. Tgat was a scary wake up call. I need real assistance and my child is not even that challenging. Its hard to never get to rest your nervous system. All parents need more help. Thank you for bei g here!

"All parents need more help." We have to shout this out until they hear. We need more help! Parenting is hard enough as it is... doing it while being on the spectrum is like moving a mountain. We need help and we deserve support on so many levels. Not only from a coach or advisor but also from someone who can help us get an hour two off just to have space to breathe.
