#1 Wishlist item: could Rupert please consider offering audiobook versions of his books? I would happily pay 2 or 3 times more for this. I drive for a living, so I don't have lots of time to read but I really enjoy listening to Rupert's videos multiple times and every time I listen I gain new understandings from each of them. C'mon now, you must know we aren't WATCHING Rupert's videos on RUclips - we're LISTENING to them! Please let him know we want to listen to his books as well!

Infinite is peace and peace is happiness and they are all just non-dual consciousness, our true nature.
    It's like Holy Trinity!
Thank you Rupert for yet another precious gem of wisdom.

Thank you so much Rupert! I was a little sad about something this morning. And then I heard you say something like you’re not the feeling but the knower of the feeling, you’re not the experience but the one experiencing. That was an Aha moment!!! That feeling of sadness just seemed to vanish away!! 😊❤️🙏

    Silence
    Silence is your Teacher.
    Don’t listen to your mind.
    The One You Really Are…
in Silence you will ever find.
    Silence… just like Emptiness…
    no creation nor imagination…
keeps you far from every stress…
    a happy Self-revelation.
    Silence is your only Guru.
    Just turn away from noise.
To discover That What’s Ever True…
    Silence is your only choice.
    Silence… just like Peace…
to Be is all that Is.
Forever you can be at ease…
and therefore Joy you’ll never miss.

I find that meditation helps with all of these problems. It’s as if we exist in perfection at some level and meditation will get us there but it is not a quick fix but must be practised daily for a gradual release of unwanted states of mind.

The only thing that is getting in the way is my social anxiety issue - when I'm about to meet a person I get very tense and worried; my own mind wanders into the future. Or when I see a person appearing in front of me, I get a nagging feeling in my stomach area and my heart rate increases exponentially. I allow the anxiety to be there, and I even feel deeper into it - I've been doing this for a long time but it seems that the triggers of my anxiety issue are still within my subconscious. What can I do to solve my social anxiety issue and be at ease with myself in social situations? Thank you.

I will paraphrase Rupert, but he says instead of being interested in the thoughts, be interested in being aware of the thought or situation. During the day when thoughts get going, I do not resist them, I just silently ask myself the question “Am I aware?” or “By what means am I aware of these thoughts?” it really works to disentangle the awareness from believing I am the thinker into I am the awareness, aware of this and all situations. Instead of saying “my” anxiety, consider looking to see who or what is having the anxiety, it’s not open, clear awareness. I hope this may help you. Try it. ❤️🙏🏻

Is there not an implicit receptivity to conditioning? Something in me rails at the seeming dismissal of this demonstrable effect. How, I wonder, are the abused, oppressed, persecuted to abide in peace and happiness when the entirety of their life experience is one of pain, injustice, and torture? It's true that landing on the rocks doesn't change the innate nature of a seed, but it really does affect (diminish, inhibit, remove) its capacity to realize its full potential, to flourish and grow and contribute to and interact meaningfully with all this life has to offer. Can an acorn revel in bliss never having had the happenstance opportunity to become a giant oak, knowing what might have been but wasn't?

It still bugs me….if happiness is essential to me then surely it is impossible that I can be unhappy! Saying that it is still there but obscured doesn’t seem to really make sense….it’s still there? Where? I’m happy and I don’t realise it? That doesn’t make sense to me…
And is it worth adding that when we go to sleep, we know we will wake up in the morning and everything will be more or less as we left it?

Love you Rupert but I must repeat: please stop taking a partisan stance on the war in Ukraine. You and Bernardo have both chosen to use Russian foreign policy and V. Putin himself as exemplary or embodiments of concepts such as 'evil'. This explicit participation on your part in an ongoing war (in my opinion a justified Russian military offensive) is disconcerting and disturbing beyond belief given your otherwise beautiful and gentle message. I assume that promoting violence is not at all your intention yet that is the effect of some of your your statements. I appreciate your perspectives on violence, cruelty even 'evil' but your choice of example is simply wrong. On my part I do, and will continue, to recognize and be curious about my emotional re-action to what I understand as your misunderstanding of geopolitics with regard to NATO etc. On your part without throwing away 'the perennial understanding' perhaps you could reconsider what you seem to believe are uncontroversial political perspectives? They are not, and your political opinions are, imo, disturbing(given that they contribute in a very practical sense to a political project which justifies enormous Western arm sales which are fuelling a hopeless war. Perhaps alienating an avowed ideologue such as myself is of little concern but surely alienating large sections(I suspect a large majority) of young Russian people is not your intention. We can't avoid, for the most part, being political beings and I hate telling someone to ignore their political intuitions yet in this case I can only see you as an example of the power of relentless propaganda on even exceptionally sensitive and observant minds. This is of course not the place for geopolitical debate but I will say one thing: this war did not begin in Feb 2022. We must date it to at least the time of the coup, 2014 and from there try and appreciate the subsequent Nazi capture of the Ukrainian state and, crucially, it's military...[I do appreciate that you don't discuss these issues in this video, but nonetheless you have and deserve to be challenged for it].
