I was going back with the single barrel Rochester carburetor. Until i get it going and driving. Then do the front brake disk conversion kit. Then I'll spend the money on 12bolts intake manifold with a better flow then those offenhouser manifolds they dont have the sharp 90 degree angle those intakes have. Then spend the 400 for their turbo manifold and then spend the 1600 for the holly efi sniper kit. I know the blow through dual carbs with the offenhouser intake and 12bolt turbo manifold with a RV cam makes 330 on a engine dyno I plan on runing a bit different grind cam and roller rockers possibly chromoly pushrods as well heavier valve springs and have the bottom end fully balanced to get at least 1500 more rpm then 6000 most recommend runing them to. That being said with the better 12bolt manifold and their lump ports cam an rockers the efi kit it should bump it up to around 360 possibly even more depending the fuel I plan on runing and if I want to do meth injection or not. Should be a fun little 67 c10 after all of that. Its crazy how much you can modernize these engines. Why people like pulling the 194 230 250 and 292s out of their truck/car beats me when they can make more hp and be just as reliable as these new turbo trucks and cars right off the lot. With hardly any money in them maybe 5500 at the most just depends on what internals and externals you go with. I have found that the holly efi sniper alone makes a world of a difference with these engines vs a carb setup. Plus they self learn from the tune you program into them.
Scoutprop 13 stock fuel pump, no signs of vapor lock. Fires right up and cruises great once warmed up. Electric chokes wires to constant 12 volt source.
Just put 3 brand new Daytona carbs on my old school offenhauser triple. Has snappy throttle response but I can’t get it to idle to save my life.
I have an in-line 250… I’ll keep an eye out.

Alex just curious have u had any vapor lock issues with the carb setup and what pump r you using?
Thanks!

I heard that term on the inliners forum a while back and it stuck with me for some odd reason lol.
*the Long Motor.*
Those “swivels” are called “rod end bearings.”
Wnere where I can get the cams and the manifold intake manifold I have 238-38 waivers
