I think that even if they don't really get to hang out again as friends or even just work together again this particular moment resulted in something beautiful for them. Both were so hurt by the other that it changed them but getting that forgiveness from each other finally gave them that feeling of peace that was missing when they were both carrying on that resentment towards each other.

I fell in love for the first time, spent 4 years with her, we broke up Oct 2022 and I still have yet to date again 🥲 I just couldn’t, for the first time I was so heartbroken I had no interest in anyone else I just wanted my ex back. It took a long time to heal (still unsure if I’m fully healed) but being alone for this long is crazy for me. But it’s been SO healing and incredible. I’ve focused on friends, travel and myself. I turned 30 last Oct. I think things worked out the way they were meant to because I needed to be heartbroken to make some life changes and I needed to spend some time alone. Because of my experience, I sincerely hope Shannon stays single for a while too. I think being a lesbian influencer will make it harder for her to stay single though! For me a normie the only way to meet other lesbians is dating apps and it’s just a lot harder to find someone for me than Shannon probably lol

I'm an old straight male, and I have followed Shannon since the early days (I still cry over the breakup video with Cammie atleast once a year) and when this drama unfolded I was 100% team Shannon, but Fletcher has always been just the artist (that I do like) while Shannon is a person.
After this pod, Cari has also become a person (she has always been one, I have just never seen it before), and to see that you have worked out the grudge and found some terms to stay friends in the future makes me happy.

How did you find out bout Shannon in the first place?
Middle aged straight male as well. I don’t really get into all the “drama” of SB’s love life but I do find myself rooting for them to possibly get back together in the future but at least they can be friends. We all have our “young and dumb” phase so sometimes we need to figure out “right person, wrong time” so the inner romantic holds out hope ;-) RUclips suggested her video where she interviewed her ex BOYfriend and I found her interesting. Coincidentally not long after a friend of mine’s daughter came out and she was struggling on how to come to terms with her daughter’s revelation. I remembered the video so I looked SB up and started watching some of her videos about coming out hoping to be able to help my friend understand what her daughter was possibly going through. The videos with her mom also helped my friend and daughter understand things can get better with time, they just had a process to navigate together.
Another straight person here, but female lol and in my 30s. 👋 I found Shannon cause of Jenna Marbles and Max No Sleeves, which made me follow Calling in Drunk and Loryn Powell, which led to Stevie Boebie, which led to people talking constantly about Shannon and Cammie. One day I had enough and watched them. A rabbit hole of what is going onnnn, but I always thought Shannon was just a beautiful person, inside and out! I've always followed her since then! So yes, there are some straight people aware of the lesbian drama, too. 😂
