I’ve been here since the tumblr days and just wanted to say Shannon didn’t need to do this, neither did Fletcher, but their vulnerability, authenticity and willingness to do this for us is means a lot. I appreciate them allowing us to get closure but ultimately allowing us to essentially listen to their conversation. I hope we can all respect their continued journeys!
I've been here for that duration to 😊.. what I respect the most about those two... they did it for each other and themselves. Far different to cammie. Which is their own story , but these two seem genuine and genuinely appreciate their connection and their art and passions. they got to dip their toes in real life career with one another.. growth and break away and do it alone.. and to see them now so vulnerable and honest just shows maturity and respect. As hard as that must be for them regardless. Hope they nurture that , as friends , and look back on the life they shared.. thats incredible..

I think Cari is still regretful and still has feeling there honestly. Shannon seems to use body language that is avoiding Cari’s attempts to get closer, you can see Cari reach out to Shannon multiple times, either putting her hand on Shannon or close to her and turning towards Shannon. The only time she directs herself away is when Shannon expresses that she’s still angry and that Cari effed up. The whole time she is seeking connection from Shannon who seems open and strong in herself but also still guarded
In saying that, at the beginning, before they get into everything, Shannon does seem to keep her hand close to Caris, but she seems to quickly close up again when they start addressing everything. I’m interested to see the dynamic in the next part

They literally have the same mannerisms and laugh exactly the same, you can tell they dated during probably the most socially formative years of their lives. Also they're fully mirroring one another the entire episode, they launch their bodies laughing the same, their hands/leg adjustments and taking a drink at the same exact moment looool
I think that could also be because they haven‘t talked in 3 years and are trying to make the other person feel comfortable. They don‘t want to hurt the other person‘s feelings, so they are just aware of the other person‘s mannerism

This is my favorite interview of cari I've seen in a long time. There was times where she really let her guard down. There was belly laughs. I know it’s not always realistic to connect with an ex again but it seems like you both have put in the work to get to this point.
I’ve been here since the wasted youth days and have been able to see both sides throughout the years. Thank you both for opening up and being vulnerable. I hope you take some time after this to center yourself and respect your feelings.
I thought they handled the conversation so well. They were both respectful of one another and kind and took responsibility for their own faults throughout the years while also being understanding of one another. This will truly be a stepping stone towards the future for both them and their audience to move forward and diffuse a lot of drama.
I know right? I have dreamt about having that kind of conversation with my ex girlfriend but she avoided it, and I get it. Maybe one day, who knows? Somehow I cried a bit watching them both talking about when there comes a point you feel you want to experience other things in life because that's why I didn't fight against when my ex girlfriend was feeling that way, I used to feel it too. They doing this is amazing, it's never late to communicate even if the dynamics of the relationship changed
The maturity it takes to be able to deep dive into the relationship publicly and respectfully too. I hope they get to work together again because I feel like the projects that they work on together are some of their most creative and insightful ones. This video for example is really both a good promo for Fletcher's album and great launch for Shannon's Patreon and the magazine is quite simple but also good promo for both of them. Wish they would remain friends and collaborate on more projects together. Maybe a like a concert tour movie.

As a long-time fan of Shannon who I've been watching since the very beginning of her channel, as well as an absolute hardcore Fletcher fan and admittedly super emotionally invested in the storyline of your relationship, I can truly say this episode blew my expectations completely away. This was so beautifully done, from the very beginning you could tell this was going to be a healing conversation and thats truly how it felt the whole time. You gave us so much insight and context into parts of your story that I think people have been super curious about whilst also holding your boundaries and keeping respect for each other and yourselves.
