I have an ex that I've been friends with for longer than we were together on both sides of the relationship. The thing I miss the most is hanging out with Mel. It didn't destroy me when we broke it off & stayed roommates. No, it was when I had to drive her to another state to go back and help her family that I couldn't stop crying. Because we couldn't smoke up and watch anime or nerdy comic book stuff or whacky sci fi or wild gay movies. That's what I miss.

late with this, but I was struck by one thing while watching this video. I am a middle aged woman living in Texas, and I can tell you from experience, you never forget your first true love, who you once considered to be your soul mate. I never got back together with mine, but I have to tell you, forty years later my heart still skips a beat when I think of those memories.
The chemistry is still there, but they have both moved on with someone else, and appear to be very happy. I think they should cherish the memories they shared together, and celebrate the fact they loved, and were loved.
If Shannon reads this two years later, I graduated from Tech, and lived in Austin for over 40 years. Have relatives who live in Tulsa, and went to OU. Football in the fall is always fun in my family.
