why can a multibillion dollar company cant fix a stupid annoying bug?
The problem I have is that whenever I go to download a microsoft store app it says "error encountered, one of the update services is not running properly" and I also can't update windows either as it says in settings: "something went wrong. Try to reopen settings later"

Bro i tried everything what i can i watch lots of videos and lots of post for fix this issue but I can’t
I tried - repair,reset, cmd, powershell, searvices - stop - start and even i restore my system still I can’t 😭

Try this,
Press windows key >> search "Services" & open >> look for called "Storage Service", double click >> change startup type to "Automatic" , click apply & ok
