The way I see it, Na'Vi is a team that's composition is greater than the sum of its parts. No matter what team they are playing they will play good, they have insane consistency at the moment. Not long ago NaVi was one of only 2 teams that was even able to get maps against Spirit, the other being mouz that actually beat them. This has to be because of Blade's phenomenal coaching and mentorship of these players. And something tells me that this team is just getting their era started, bold prediction but I just have a feeling.
I think they are worse than the sum of their parts. iM looks almost useless. B1t was very inconsistent of the final and wonderful is not carrying as an awper
@@launders so, you agree with the comment? the parts individually aren't very good, but put together they perform. iM stat-wise useless, b1t inconsistent stats, w0nderful not topping the stats every time, yet they won the major, so their team is better than the (individual statistic....) parts
Well as u said it was the most stacked playoffs how does it surprise you it was with 50% round wins. And it's stupid to watch stats on navi, they never die for nothing, they always die for some positive impact. The only stupid death I remember was when jL pushed banana as sole b player in 3v2 in finals. But in the long run it's good death, they weren't afraid to play. And people said b1t didn't show up untill inferno, but the enemies avoided him like sickness. Like g2 putting m0nesy to hold him, not going to his site. The only time they do is when they setup counterplay him with niko. And if you go rewatch, w0nderful was out of this world lol. Saved their ass so many times like jL
Tarik had 1.22 rating at Boston, same as jL. Flamie had a 1.39 rating, but NAVI was eliminated in the semis by Faze. So what, should you say that flamie deserved to get the MVP in Boston, as everyone's saying about m0nesy? I feel some bias here...
Why do you always mention Karrigan, when you talk about Faze losing. It's a team game and the loss is not on him alone. The hate towards Karrigan is getting out of hand...
I'm sorry, Navi won against two top 5 teams, and don't pretend like many, MANY people weren't picking Eternal Fire to go through to the Semis. Vitality's major is easily the worst run in history.
I think you miss understand MVP meaning. JL was so clutch and important to the team in crucial moments. Monesy got nice kills and rating but didnt have the same impact in crucial games TO THE TEAM. Best player and MVP are two different things. Monesy lost even crucial round in the semifinals for G2.
Launders, correct me if I'm wrong, but this round win % being low is because they lost from a huge margin in maps that they lost, but won by a small margin in maps that they won, right?
Launders: ”So the current event with a bunch of top teams just happened, team x beat team Y and met team Z in the final. This reminds me of the 2018 boston major where cloud 9…”
What does C9 have to do with anything right now? You are saying things that are true, but I just cant understand why people have to only focus on the minucia to discredit a MAJOR win, not just a regular tournament, a MAJOR, and then bringing up C9?. Just better to say you wanted them to lose and that's it.
Shoutout to launders! The first caster/analyst that says that iM isnt used properly in the team. I have said it so many times, he isnt made to be a lurker imo, this role takes a lot of gamesense and experiente, which he doesnt have. Aleksib + Blade combo is definetely cooking in the kitchen, but NAVI needs to give them better ingredients if they're going to consistently compete for the trophies. I give 100% credit to the IGL + coach combo, but the rest are debatable. Time will tell.
@@spladoinkk even outside of hltv rankings i think the consensus is that Faze and G2 are in top 5 (arguable with Mouz, but Mouz got demolished personally by G2)
arguably outsider or vitality was worse atleast navi played faze in the final outsiders played heroic who were known for choking vitality played tier 2 teams
EF beat Faze, vitality, and VP at the event they aren’t an easy team. Then G2 we’re favourites to win the whole thing when Navi beat them. Then Faze were favourites to win the finals and Navi beat them too. It’s impossible for any major winner to play every good team because it’s a bracket. But Navi played 2 of the best teams idk how you can say it was an easy run
Why cant the best team just win? So many people saying other teams choked. Sorry your pickums got f'd but credit where credit is due, the best team won. If you choke or are prone to choking, then you dont deserve the win. Pressure is part of the game.
in Romania (mostly Bucharest) we had a great internet-cafe culture starting with the red alert/starcraft days (just LAN no internet) to quake2/half life (pirated btw) and when the CS beta arrived (i remember we played 747 and prodigy) and all computers were running it, then with 1.5 and 1.6 on private romanian servers (0 ping) no one was playing anything else, and to this day CS has a rich history here.
I watched the ENCE team mostly as a meme, but then I became an aleksi fan because I started seeing the games, seeing how he plays and how he talks about the game and you just can't hate the guy. Then everything happened and I was super excited when he got into that OG lineup and unfortunately things just didn't work out because of the pandemic. But still, I stayed a fan and I kept believing and it's what made this all the more special. After all the hate threads, all the haters, all the non believers and blind orgs, he got his flowers, his trophy, and silenced everybody and I couldn't actually be happier how all of this turned out. Racism took an L, but I think we got a great result out of this major and I really hope this team (and mostly aleksi) keeps on bangin
navi played against a hot g2, an extremely hot EF and a 7 time finalist faze... yeah i dont call that a "bad run" thats impressive, considering no one picked them to win any of those games
Shitty title, when Navi gets a win you say their opponents were playing bad, when Navi looses you say they were playing bad. Can’t ever make you haters stop hating
I don’t understand this analysis at all. So many years in CS and these so called analysts still keep making the mistake of thinking that best players mean best results. If that were the case, top 5 players would always be bought by a super rich organisation and win all tournaments. Guess what Faze is that organisation and they did not win majors with that line up. A win, a major win no less, requires a lot of things to come together. The most important being the teamwork during the most important phase of the tournament - the playoffs. And NAVI had that. No one can take it away from that. Yes they lost more rounds but if that really a useful statistic then when do we have a MR12 system ? Because what matters more is the map win than round win. NAVI beat a red hot EF, then G2 which had your MVP Monesy that you cannot stop hyping and Faze. And they bought hard battles in all three of those matches. And they came out on top. Not because of server crashes or players being ill on the other team. No but through their own team work and skill
Let’s rename the teams. You can have all the best players but if they don’t with together it’s useless. Team Falcon > Real Madrid Team spirit > team donk G2 > team monesy Vitality > team Sphinx
I compare this win for NaVi as when Finland win world hockey championship, Finland never has individuals like Canada or Russia or Usa and rearly has a tournament point leader in team, but still they managed to win those teams multiple times and win championship coz they have best coaching, strategy and teamwork, its a team game so you dont nessesary need those best individuals, ofc it might help you but it also might destroy the team chemistry if you have some big egos or toxic personalitys in team even their stats are good... So i would say its a miracle run for NaVi but there's alot more than just being a fluke.
Didn’t even consider ct side. That’s a good point I do think they have a game plan that iM doesn’t fit into even though it’s similar to his role on GL. If he’s supposed to be more dynamic I really wonder why he can’t figure it
iM is now more involved in team play as a 2nd caller and helps alot with nades if you check his impact at this major u will get shocked is the 2nd highest impact in the team
You say "let's call a spade a spade" and then still try to devalue this championship. The major isn't about stats, it's not about round wins, it's about who wins overall.
If you wanna measure success by round wins - fine - let's change the format of CS to be 1 huge BO 60. Except that would be shit! This is the format of the major, this is the format of CS. Navi won given the format - they are the champions.
Not to mention G2, which historically gets countered by NaVi yet almost won, shouldn't even have been there. Because of a literal fluke, they replaced a team that cleanly 2-0 NaVi in RMR a few weeks prior.
The vp 2-0 was kind of a long time ago and they also won against vp 2-0 a bit prior to that game, not like vp beat them every game or anything. If anything, if vp were to beat g2 and qualify im not too sure they beat mouz
We need to give time to the game. This is not CS GO anymore. We have MR12, new way for utilities and so on. Maybe the way NAVI is playing right now will be proven to be the best way to play CS2, or maybe not. I think we need a few majors with the new game to say ok this was good run on bad run.. Anyone should stop looking at CS GO stats and how games we're won than. Just remember how many games we're lost on CS GO from 13- XX, now at 13 rounds you already win.
then wouldn’t paris be the worst major run? G2 is tier 1 when monesy plays well (top rated player of then event) and faze is definitely legit. You could argue their elim stage wasn’t impressive but they only lost to Spirit who was in major winning form and a peaking cloud 9 who are winning the next major
Just for reference, I am a NaVi fan. NaVi's Major Win was nowhere near the levels of fraudulance of say, Vitality's at Paris who pretty much only played against T2 teams. I do not disagree with the fact that Navi were on the easier side of the bracket, but the lower bracket teams weren't push overs either. This is the most stacked playoffs we've had in A LONG time. The only result in their major run that you could argue was a real mark against them was the loss to C9 in the Legends stage, a game that they should've by all rights won. EF are a legit team now, they've proven that multiple times, and whilst they were the weakest in the playoffs, they did not go quietly into the night against NaVi. G2 were also a serious threat still and I'm tired of the community treating them like Furia. They put up a bigger fight against NaVi then Faze did. We like to clown on them for various reasons but they still have the best AWPer in the world, the best Rifler in the world (on paper) and one of the best lurkers in the world with a solid system that gives all the space these players need to pop off, and only one took the opportunity. If either Hunter or Niko showed up they'd beat Navi and, IMO, they'd also win the Major with the form that Faze brought into the final. As for Faze in the final, it was very anti-climatic and I think that was down to burn out and the map veto. Faze put their heart and soul into beating Spirit, and Vitality weren't slouches either, even if they weren't firing on on cylinders. I think they were just tired and expected an easy game to complete their fairy tale beginning of CS2. As for the map veto, I personally believe that Faze straight up did not do their homework against Navi. Yes, they had a day to prepare, and I feel like all, and it was a perfectly fine assumption to think that you're better than NaVi on Ancient. However, Inferno was an atrocious pick. If the best Inferno team we've seen in the last 18 months (G2) straight up *refused* to play it against NaVi in the Semi, that should ring alarm bells about how good NaVi's Inferno is and whilst it was either that or Overpass, I feel like not going to Overpass means that you have no confidence in your supposed 7 map strat book, your CT sides or your AWPer to perform well enough against a team with a smaller map pool, paper thin CT sides and an AWPer who has never ever been in a Major Final (and in hindsight didn't even perform that well in the play offs).
Bro, Pick a god damn side. Two of the three teams that were favorites to win this major, navi beat fair and square. You cant keep praising monesy and niko and then avoid giving Credit to navi as a team for winning against them? Also Faze as the last Boss in the finals? How is this a fluke? They literally got dominated on mirage to then totally dominate faze, yes lets forget that they played good and only focus on karrigans 1-15 cause he never has bad rating ever as a igl. Also, why is everyone talking about inferno which was the only map b1t woke up on? He was the best player on Ancient? The only bad maps/games they had was the elim stage. Its so bad everyome is cherry picking stuff from nothing, stats like "Won rounds %". I have never seen anyone focus on this fact. But everything to misscredit Aleksi and Blad3. And final note, I watched all of you "analysts" of the game Pick internal fire to win in pickems because navi is trash? Now all of sudden they had the easy run because EF was in quarters?
Cause Navi were on the easier side
@launders didn't know that Vitality with 1.10 rating Zywoo and clown9 is harder than mousesports, EF and G2. XD
@@hehmde yeah m0nesy with kovacs is an EZ win.
Best cs2 major of all time but yall still hating smh lol

iM my beloved
Underserved hate hltv rating geeks in shambles
Tarik had 1.22 rating at Boston, same as jL. Flamie had a 1.39 rating, but NAVI was eliminated in the semis by Faze. So what, should you say that flamie deserved to get the MVP in Boston, as everyone's saying about m0nesy? I feel some bias here...
I enjoy the fraudwatch, but I feel like your fraud-scope is out of alignment. NAVI NATION!
Yes
Launders:
”So the current event with a bunch of top teams just happened, team x beat team Y and met team Z in the final.
It’s called hatemaxxing welcome to the channel
Shoutout to launders! The first caster/analyst that says that iM isnt used properly in the team. I have said it so many times, he isnt made to be a lurker imo, this role takes a lot of gamesense and experiente, which he doesnt have. He can be a rlly good entry or second entry, but too soon to be a lurker. His Nuke CT is trash tho. His CTs are sometimes horrible, idk why.
happy to see another solid upload, keep up the good content
Yeah but I have a gold coin and you don’t so when I say NAVI run was the greatest run in CS history it means more 😂
17:07 best part
Waunders can't stop talking Ws after Ws

Dude IM is like a rockstar or world class athlete coming home from winning olympic gold. Theres random ppl coming out to the lobby and going "what the hell is going on, who is that guy?" The love from fans is so cool to witness.
Europeans still kicking rocks when you tell them NA had the hardest major run of all time.
Aleksib + Blade combo is definetely cooking in the kitchen, but NAVI needs to give them better ingredients if they're going to consistently compete for the trophies.
I give 100% credit to the IGL + coach combo, but the rest are debatable. Time will tell.
Short answer - no
Long answer - no, look at the last 2 major runs
all three were absolutely garbage. navi sucks but faze sucked even more
@@spladoinkk Navi won against two top 5 teams and their run sucked?
@@gcsam11 this guy is taking hltv rankings seriously😭😭😭😭
@@spladoinkk even outside of hltv rankings i think the consensus is that Faze and G2 are in top 5 (arguable with Mouz, but Mouz got demolished personally by G2)

arguably outsider or vitality was worse
atleast navi played faze in the final
outsiders played heroic who were known for choking
vitality played tier 2 teams
finally back to laundersmaxxing, hope you enjoyed Copenhagen
Thank you I very much did !
I did not expect that Blasdfa shoutout. OG movement king

nice meeting u at the major, thank you for signing my hat :D
Lau, what happened to the trippy Winamp visualizer graphics? Who will I watch when I get high now. lol
hope the Launders LAN goes well bud. much love from west coast Canada
worst major run was Vitality
Hey Launders, how much did you bet on Faze? Just wondering cause I normally agree with your takes, however you sound a little Salty.
the worst major is RIO.... damn Outsiders won thanks to the fact that they had weak teams in the bracket, and the final was generally the most boring
The spirit game was my grand final . A Bo3 final was very underwhelming
My FaZe boys may have gotten de_stroyed (why the fuck didn’t they pick nuke over ancient), but at least I struck gold 😎
boo hoo cry about it jL easly carried
As some one who has never watched a major untill this year this was a great event.
Glad you enjoyed!
12:26 gets me everytime! I think it’s my favorite saying now.
is there any better thing in life then starting ur day with breakfast, a hot cup of coffee and a new episode of fraudwatching?
Definitely agree with your point about iM. Love to see that!
Mongolz about to be in the final next major
Shitty title, when Navi gets a win you say their opponents were playing bad, when Navi looses you say they were playing bad. Can’t ever make you haters stop hating
Vitality Paris was the worst run by far, ITB, Apeks GL💀
No matter what the premise of the video is, he always mentions Cloud9s run in 2018😅
hey Mr Launders was nice meeting you in arena :0
what is that top right corner photo with Henry i don't understand Launders??.
Let’s rename the teams. You can have all the best players but if they don’t with together it’s useless.
Team Falcon > Real Madrid
Team spirit > team donk
G2 > team monesy
Vitality > team Sphinx
I compare this win for NaVi as when Finland win world hockey championship, Finland never has individuals like Canada or Russia or Usa and rearly has a tournament point leader in team, but still they managed to win those teams multiple times and win championship coz they have best coaching, strategy and teamwork, its a team game so you dont nessesary need those best individuals, ofc it might help you but it also might destroy the team chemistry if you have some big egos or toxic personalitys in team even their stats are good... So i would say its a miracle run for NaVi but there's alot more than just being a fluke.
I swear the background gets more insane the longer you look at it and I lov eit
is this the day racism loses??? 😭
iM being used wrong? He’s a 0.98 rating on CT side this year. Is he being used wrong there too? Someone telling him never to multikill?
Didn’t even consider ct side. That’s a good point
I do think they have a game plan that iM doesn’t fit into even though it’s similar to his role on GL. If he’s supposed to be more dynamic I really wonder why he can’t figure it
18 maps 1.22 still impressive
Beating g2 and faze. End of discussion. jL mvp, made the plays in the important moments. End of discussion.
why is clint stevens up top xd
His major run was nothing to scoff at
Clint Stevens is the best professional player to have never played a professional match in his life
Lau is just a 2017 twitch chatter lol
iM is now more involved in team play as a 2nd caller and helps alot with nades if you check his impact at this major u will get shocked is the 2nd highest impact in the team
I wonder who Launders will hate on when NAVI curb stomp everyone at pro league in a few weeks.
Doesn't matter if you lose some rounds. You can lose the second map 13:0 but win every match.
HELL YES ANOTHER VID TRMW! love the content bro!
Just remember how many games we're lost on CS GO from 13- XX, now at 13 rounds you already win.
not glazing over cloud9 major win challenge (impossible)
Is this really a surprise that team with second highest match win percentage in the world won the Major?
i would recommend focusing on the quality of teams they won and lost to instead of ranking them all the same and then calculating W/L
@@launders Sure they lost to some good teams even at the Major. But it wasn't elimination games when pressure is at the highest level.
then wouldn’t paris be the worst major run? G2 is tier 1 when monesy plays well (top rated player of then event) and faze is definitely legit. You could argue their elim stage wasn’t impressive but they only lost to Spirit who was in major winning form and a peaking cloud 9 who are winning the next major
That's your problem, lawnders. You focus too much on "quality" of teams. In other words, on how they look on "paper".
@@bladerunner4425 he was judging the quality by watching the games. it was a fraudulent run💯 Larrigan is washed up
Aleksi my goat ❤
If the best Inferno team we've seen in the last 18 months (G2) straight up *refused* to play it against NaVi in the Semi, that should ring alarm bells about how good NaVi's Inferno is and whilst it was either that or Overpass, I feel like not going to Overpass means that you have no confidence in your supposed 7 map strat book, your CT sides or your AWPer to perform well enough against a team with a smaller map pool, paper thin CT sides and an AWPer who has never ever been in a Major Final (and in hindsight didn't even perform that well in the play offs).
i was set for a diamond coin until playoffs, then i got 0 correct for playoffs
Bro do you even listen to yourself? Delulu
Question is how much we want to emphasise group stage games? Sure Navi had some close wins and big losses, but Navi went 8/8 in games that went double digits.
