    MJ as the 39 y.o. ankle breaker. Still great at the age of 40.

    Here's what's scary. MJ's offense in his Wizards years was basically 90% jumpers. When he got to the line 7-10 times a game it was almost always a more than 25 pt performance.

      and for bussiness also.. If it's not because of Jerry Krause's ego, Jordan and the rest of 98 Bulls team probably could win another rings. Jordan kinda felt regret by the way of Bulls broke up in many of his interview.

    MJ coming back only helped his legacy despite not winning. I think Kobe is doing the same thing but in a different way. To have 17yrs straight playing in the league and still dominate the way he is is saying something. Kobe and JOrdan are just gifted. It's no accident they can do these things with their ages and nba miles on them.

    It's comical to me that b-ball experts like Stephen A. Smith claim that Kobe Bryant is a better shooter than Michael ever was. The percentages speak for themselves. For his career he is 50% - would have even been higher if he never came back with the Wizards........ The greatest mid-range shooter who ever lived in my opinion. The "experts" act as if he was drop-step dunking 20 of his 30 PPG over his career, when in fact probably 80% + of his points were off of jumpers.

    how he creates the space in the last fadeaway is a text book prove of his great fundamental skill. very similar to hakeem. using backfacing hop steps with his body weight to fake a spin move and then a turn around. his footwork is unpredictable because he has so many moves.

    I know there will be someone out there who thinks he's smarter than other people. So he'll begin to philosophize about Magic "The Greatest"..bla..bla.. Jabbar.. bla bla.. Chamberlain.. or.. bla..bla..Bird - or even bla..bla..LJ/Kobe...Someone will say: MJ was just a scorer...He couldn't pass.; or he was just dunks and layups...Lol! Really?! And without Scottie? Poor MJ (: How many ridiculous comments I've read on youtube so far...!? I think you guys need to study more. I would modestly like to suggest watching this "Michael Jordan - The legend Of The Greatest" to remove all those fucking bullshit....mmm.. pardon.. your prejudices.

    Hilarious. He makes even more space on his jumpers against these guys than he did in the 80s and 90s. . Just goes to show you being athletic doesn't mean you're a good defender or know how to play the game. Jordan would eat the league if he played today

  • @Agenthai7
    @Agenthai7 13 лет назад +2

    @flight23magic32 I wouldn't say they were unpredictable. MJ and Dream had their go to moves, and options after the go to move, and the ability to make the tough shot from all the options available. At 2:15- 2:30, he's really just going for his fadeaway jumper to the right. As he backing him down, he's testing Gill with slight movements to spin baseline. Since Gill is tentative and not really biting, just holding ground, that's enough for jordan to know that gill won't make get a good contest

    @Agenthai7
    but the thing about jordan is he almost always has a counter move if gill were more aggressive. why is gill so tentative there? because he respects jordan's ability to spins to the baseline and make easy basket or get fouled. you can say he might have feared jordan " ability" to get call also.

    not saying every moves jordan made is unpredictable, but in general he has read his defender well before they could read his. he always has a counter move or a few of them and he has always been able to pull it out so quick that defender cant react as quick.

    I'm a Jordan's fan and I worship him so much, but now I want to share some of my viewpoints about the game. As for the last shot of michael in this game, Jordan really takes advantage of his skiilful fadeaway. However, if Eddie Jones was smart and experienced enough, Michael could get a charging foul when MJ was trying to use the fake spinning to create space for the jump shot. Anyway, who could stay calm and 100% focused when guarding one of the greatest players of all time!

    lol just saw your comment..So what he averaged 20 shots 1 of the year and 42% and the second year at 40 years old he shot 45% the next year lol grow up people in the league cant do that now..kobe shot lower than 45% for the majority of his career..even with that low shooting he still shot 50% from the field for his career..who does that as a guard with that volume of shots? avergaing 23 ppg at 38,39 and 20 the last year? look at the people in the league right now look how many average under 20

    That's because Pippen was more of a Floor leader and all around player who if you look at his stats were much more then offense. Also when you play with JORDAN for your career your going to have much less significant Stats then you would playing without JORDAN. Look at PIPPENS Stats the 93-94 year when JORDAN retired the first time. PIPPEN Led the Bulls team in every Statistic. SCORING, REBOUNDING, ASSISTS, STEALS, BLOCKS ETC ETC..
