I was beginning to think that I had made the wrong choice buying the Pocket 3 when almost every RUclips creator talks about you must shoot in d-log with ND filters and then edit the footage using hi spec computers but you don’t seem to promote that - am I correct? I just want to be able to get nice decent quality B roll footage like I can get with my iPhone 14 but a bit better and improved sound.
Exactly! In film world, log basically shoots video in a way where it preserves wayyy more color information which gives us more flexibility to manually color clips in post.

just got one a couple weeks back and took it to Oregon to shoot an event. For social content it was perfect. I had also brought my Nikon mirrorless setup and honestly I barely pulled it out of the bag, The DJI has a ton of tricks that makes it a fun camera. I honestly got so many people asking me about the camera. it was wild.

Lighting is everything for these cameras. They don’t have the biggest sensor in the world so you have to help the camera in terms of light! Also make sure that pesky little screen on the lens stays free of smudges
I set the cam to manual exposure to compensate for brightness thus breaking the "double your frame rate" rule. Don't have ND filters just yet for this little guy.

I want to add 2 cameras in my setup. Ideally, one, but I think no one camera would be good for vlogging and sit down beauty content filming, both. I have finalized Insta360 GO3 for vlogging and Sony ZV-1F for beauty content shoot. I'm yet to hit the 'place an order' button, but I do want to place it by this weekend. I was highly inclined towards buying a Canon Powershot V10 to be honest for ease of use. I have 0 to negligible knowledge of cameras, and I wanted something supremely easy to use. However, after going through so many negative reviews, I've finalized these two. What would you suggest here? Can Pocket3 be used for both vlogging and studio beauty content creation? I do need the beauty content to be zoomed in and super crisp quality.

Hello all. I am considering getting this camera package for some future road trips. Some fishing and is thinking about getting a mounting rig for the windshield as I travel to and from some fishing spots in the rural areas. Perhaps some type of chest mount. Any suggestions and or input?
how one's video will look does not depend 100% on the quality of the video but rather 50% on composition and 50% on sound, you know both we don't know either.

Hey mate! I honestly kept everything in auto just to see how it did. A few times I switched over to manual shutter speed and wb when the camera struggled a bit (especially in the jungle scenes and the beach) but 90% is auto wb, auto ex. I’ll make a separate video on my settings! And my studio lights are just an aputure 60x with a grid soft box and an amaran tube light for a hair/fill ☺️
Dji pocket 3 is an amazing little thing.. I don't even carry my big camera to record anymore just use it for photography.. This little thing is in my pocket and ready to flip and record.
