I neeeever get people who eat at funeral. I leave every time people serve at funeral, i don't even get how people can get the food through their throat during funerals.
And even if it's not someone I know it always effects me deeply and makes me sad for the family members.

Nabeel bahi, yeh moiz Shaab nay kuch zada hi exaggerate Kar rahay hai. I've seen people laughing during janaza time but nothing else. Pakistan Mai yeh aik Naya trend banaya howa hai har cheez ko har kam ko Bara Chara Kay bolo.
I myself have witness n experienced it.Just lost my father in law who was my mamo as well. n was being scolded n taunted for not stretching dastarkhuwan and presenting numerous dishes.. Yesterday was chaliswan n I served numerous type of food mithaes fruits just to shut their mouths up. Was not feeling like doing it but had to do it out of family pressure
I don't know where you live but in our neighbourhood and relatives, I have seen people eating from the house of a deceased person for straight 10 days until "Daswaa". And yes people fight over pieces of meat. It happened so many times that the people of my muhallah decided to make "Chany Waly Chawal" only on the death of a person. But still, the point remains, what's the need of feeding people at funerals and after funerals? A funeral is not a party. We can do dua for the deceased without demanding food from their family.
Just answer one question, don't people eat from the house of the deceased after the funeral?
I am from KP all thing which this guy is saying about funerls does not exist in our society ..
Here culture is 180' opposit to rest of country that eating from died person's home is consider as life lasting shame. Rather they contibute their on share by supporting them in their panick time by money, by providing food, and other resources ...
People of KP are very lucky.

"Chaleswa" the 40th day after a persons passing is something that is not in Islam. It is a leftover from the old beliefs and practices of the people of the subcontinent from pre-Islamic times.

Admired the last few episodes but on this particular topic, he was out of his place to comment as he lacked proper research on the topic. Correlated funerals of Muslims and non Muslims and whatnot. I bluntly disagree with more than 50 to 60 % of the content in this one.

If you are referring to Mumtaz qadri and declaring him a murderer than you have to learn Islam. Unfortunately you haven't had any idea what kind of a man Salman taseer was ! Mumtaz qadri kept on insisting his boss aka Governor Salman to not cross the limits. He had no other option but to kill him because a governor cannot be arrested according to the pakistan law. Lastly do read hadith if you have any concerns if Salman taseer was innocent or not. Either follow proper Islam or just don't follow it. You cannot choose things that you like and leave the rest and say you are a Muslim. The main problem at this point in Pakistan is identity crisis. Learn and know what Islam is all about.
