1: There was a shemale near in village, was almost 60 plus, he was so respectable that he can go to eveyone house. He wasnt a begger. People just give him clothes and money on eid considering that its his right on us.
2: there was a shemale near our college in a big city, he use to work in hotel as waiter, but the devil like students always touched him whenever he dilivered food. Sadly he was forced to quit that job.
We just need to educate our childern to give this comunity a right to live with us.

Real gem. This is the stark reality of our society that people have different worlds based on their classes. Elie capture is everywhere but in Pakistan, they have left nothing for the poor. Life in villages is comparatively much easy and more satisfying. People in cities just keep on stigmatising village life.
Indeed - every time I need desi ghee I request friends to bring it from their respective villages since you can’t find the true taste in cities.

I came across these TCM video after some time . I am in awe of Dr Moiz . I also hope Ms Julie is okay I was missing her talks . I applaud TCM for this series and also thank the person behind the camera asking sensible questions.

It's quite easy to talk about how things should be, ideally.. maybe we should spend our time in coming up with solutions
Probably you should initiate the solution based conversation rather than suggesting one.
I believe Moiz is discussing ‘how things are’ rather than ‘how things should be’ as you understood.
I am not criticizing him for highlighting the problems with city life. I am however criticizing him to put it all on urban culture and then presenting no solution whatsoever. Also he didn't address the development of european and esp the Scandinavian countries where we don't see these problems to that extent. If it was urban culture only, there had been similar problems all over the world.
Secondly, yes everyone has to play their part for betterment of society but I never blamed the urban culture, why would I be asked to present an alternate solution?

partially agreed...Most of the statements are swiping and he is looking at life through the lens of loathe.......if he happens to observe the village life deeply, the culture of women harassment and subjugation also prevails very much in the rural areas.....

I disagree, i have experienced both village and city lives, i think the same problems exist in both lives. Class, misogyny, patriarchy, racism, transphobia... all exist, very much in both cities and villages in their own ways.

Exactly! Both urban and rural lives have their own challenges. Rural issues bhi bohat baray hain unless you live in a Western or highly developed rural area which provides facilities like good healthcare, electricity access and education etc.

Get your facts right
1) social hierarchies are everywhere in the world.
2) wealth is created by individuals. Economic growth and industrialization has resulted in better standard of living for everyone.
3) in Pakistan rural poverty is more than urban poverty as measured through MPI/CBN
4) people vote with their feet. If rural life is so good, people wouldnt flock to cities. They come to cities for livelihoods which are dwindling because of landholding patterns, lack of rule of law.
5) No one has a problem with villages, rural areas produce food for the country. People do have issues with dispotic culture which stems from societal norms.
This guy is sensationalizing issues by talking about small reproductive organs but has no argument because it is based on emotions, not evidence.

2) Free to choose by Milton Friedman
3) why nations fail by Acemoglu
You are absolutely right, I am, afraid that what kind of legacy are we going to leave behind :'( Lekin, what shall we do with the fact that people in urban settlements 've got the huge capital but they got lack of access to the ingenuity in products like pure pure milk, desi meat, genuine desi ghee, butter, etc. Ultimately when we eat unhealthy, we understand & speak unhealthy.

Having more and less and flexing is natural. But making money the only purpose of life, or comparing to an extreme where you are blindly running for money without analyzing the ways you're making it through, Is wrong. Similarly, the waderas in villages (talking About Sindh) are waderas because they own more land than anyone, and with that they claim authority over entire village and literally decide for people's life. That's where hierarchy becomes problematic

There will always be people who will do better in life, either they are lucky or clever or outright conmen. Money is how we achieve other purposes in life , to have bettter health, education, food, shelter, transport, you need money. You want to marry someone you love, you need money. I don't see how we can escape it. And when it was not money, it was something else with a monetary value. Everyone wants to climb up that hierarchy ladder, to have a better chance at survival and reproduction i guess. I guess we can try to regulate the conmen , the waderas, but then they outsmart us, they become the regulators, buy us with money and make laws in their favor.
