- So today I am bringing back the best/strongest teams for characters across the Pokemon universe. Naturally, I wanted to start with the most iconic trainer of all time, Red. Surprisingly, Red has an incredibly powerful arsenal of Pokemon and I can't wait to show you all what he's packing!

If Red was restricted in using Kanto Pokémon, I think it would be fitting for Red to have Mewtwo on his team, maybe even a Mega Evolution of it as well
The only mega he ever had is mega charizard x, he used it when battling mewtwo in Pokemon Origins, so he won't have mega mewtwo

The teams great, but id swap deoxys for his mewtwo. Because coverage, more bulk compared to 3 of the 4 forms of deoxys with out having to sacrifice attack, and honestly mewtwos just a mon thats more feared in my opinion, and the fact he caught it after using his zard x makes it more, idk exactly the right wording for it but you get the idea

Can we compare sheets? As someone who values thematic teams, my version of Red's team has his Smash variant: Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard. The story for this Red of mine is that he transcends the role of a Pokémon Champion to become the champion of his universe. He becomes a hero against in-universe level threats like Cyrus, Necrozma and Eternatus with Pokémon like Scizor, Clefable and Mewtwo before he took on multiverse level threats like Master Hand, Tabuu and Galeem and Dharkon.
Red is one of the best OG trainer's from the original Pokemon series & has one of the best team's ever. Really liking this new series Mystic, Love the thumbnail too ❤, The next OG trainer's you should do next are these right here:

Fun Fact about Red's Charizard: It used Five moves in the last episode of Pokemon Origins. ( Fire Spin, Fire Blast, Mega Punch, Slash, Swift)

I always found Deoxys to be a pain to train. if you need to respec EV points, you had to abuse berries in emerald or other tedious means in following games. I think that an ability that has a high chance to activate where it can change based on what is going on would make better usage from Deoxys. use protect, 80% chance to swap to defense mode (Is reasonable these days sense D-max punches through). Attacks, 80% chance for attack mode. Priority attack or enemy at low hp, 80% for speed. Status and effects, base form (let's give something like items are more effective in this form). The 20% margin for form change by a specific move back this as you and Deoxys have to play as a dynamic team. This would lead to interesting gameplay both normal and competitive. Now I am expecting some players to have a bad attitude toward how this rework would function. If you're expecting Deoxys to change form and it doesn't, then you're playing this like you are expecting to always high roll dmg and crit by every hit and never get crit yourself (a flawed mindset to be in) which I dare that person to get 100 rollout crits in a row or land 100 freezings from ice beam in a row. An ability like this could re-shape how one plays with this powerhouse of a pokemon.
I like most of the team composition and don’t get me wrong, Deoxys is one of my favorite mythicals ever. Though Deoxys is a stretch and Mewtwo makes more sense (and more iconic) due to Origins.

Cynthia's strongest team next please 🙏 She is one of those champions who have appeared in multiple games and is most people's beloved champion, also my personal favourite. Her team is the most strongest and balanced team I've ever seen a champion have at their deposal.
She's Already The Strongest. (Not counting Volo)

If you want an actually good video, try comparing a characters teams accross different games.
Imagine a video contrasting Red's manga, origins and gen 2 team. You'd be able to compare 6 strong pokemon, how they were used, their movements and what they achieved, before coming to a judgement on the best team. Far more interesting
Dual Dragons and Scizor Priority means that Fairies are over and done with. Of course Zard X is not weak to Fairies but is neutral to them. All you would need in that instance is another answer to Ice types so Dragonite won't be one shot by a stray Ice Beam or Icicle Crash. What I do love is that every single team member has access to a recovery move. I personally would like a little more Hazard removal as Scizor seems to be the lynch pin of the team. Hazzard Counter, Fairy and Ice Counter, and Sharing Pivot with Pory2. If Deoxys had access to ether spin or fog, or was able to learn coverage for Ice and Fairy types that would be ideal for me at least. Maybe Defense Deoxys with Teleport to do more bulky Pivots with Pory2, or give it Knock Off for those other stallers that rely on leftovers or a berry for healing. There is a whole lot of things Deoxys might be able to do to balance out team dynamics.

That is non sensible, he had to have another inclusion in mainline games in let's go he doesn't own pikachu so we need either new red for pikachu Or just use even adult version of him

I think Pokémon yellow Red should be the canon Red since you battle him in GS. I think 3rd version games are what the games should have been in the first place. They pretty much are more completed versions of the originals.

I have a few issues with the team, namely super weak to rocks and anything with strong rock attacks as your only real wall is porogon 2
They need to have a remake for pokemon stadium with all old and new pokemon for the switch

Hm, I think this had a lot of "what if Red did this?" in it. Red having a Porygon doesn't mean he trained it (unless he did, but I don't think the source you mentioned did). To evolve it, he'd have to give it to someone else, so he wouldn't have anymore. I have similar feelings about changing the Normal Deoxys you said was canonical into a different form.
correct me if im wrong but according to the adventures manga, red captured every pokemon in the safari zone....dratini is in the safari zone. so with that its weird to think he DIDNT have a dragonite

I agree, like it was with the best teams for a Gen which would usually be a starter, a psudeo, a legendary/mythical and 3 regular pokemon.

I would End the Anime With Ash battles the Elite 4 in Kanto and then against Gary or Blue . Then he would meet red as his dad and battles him To become the Pokémon Master . At the End he will find Mew from the First movie and of course together with brock and Misty.

If you've never played the original, that's basically the only context in which it is worth it. Platinum is better overall since BDSP reintroduces a lot of the problems that Platinum fixed and reverts to the inferior diamond/pearl story, but if you've never played BDSP is fine.

I kinda wish Pikachu was on the team, I understand why because this is a competitive team, but Pikachu is the ace for Red in so many games.
Edit: My head cannon for Red is that all the versions of Red seen in the main series games, besides Let's Go, is the Red from yellow version, with Pikachu as the ace, the 3 starters given throughout the game, Snorlax is the one on the bridge, Espeon is the gift Eevee, and Lapras is the gift Lapras from Silph Co.

In the manga, Red has an Eevee that was able to change into all 3 Eeveelutions until it evolved into Espeon.

I completely and utterly reject Red using mega charizard on principle. He only has charizard as his ace in one version of canon, and the reasoning given is entirely moronic and only serves as an excuse to give him the more popular Kanto starter. Every other version of canon, including the games, has him use Venusaur as his starter and Pikachu as his ace, so Venusaur would be his mega. It works better with Dragonite anyways.
I'd also say instead of Scizor, give Red Vee, his special Eevee from Adventures, specifically before he evolved it into Espeon. Before doing that, it was able to evolve into the three original eeveelutions and devolve back at will. If you're gonna count him having Eevee, might as well count the special one, which is decidedly stronger than just a regular eeveelution and allows him to have four pokemon in one.
Deoxys makes perfect sense for Red given the Deoxys he befriended in Adventures is connected to him by the sample of his blood it absorbed. The two are able to sense each other and would be more than willing to team up for a battle, even if Deoxys is still a wild pokemon.

@@stormacci9370 This isn't a matter of the canon being ambiguous. This is a matter of Masters not aligning with any version of canon, and actively being internally inconsistent and thus not capable of being its own branch of canon.
Giving various characters legendaries they have never possessed in any canon and in some cases have little-to-no association with, actively including impossible situations, such as characters with their anime personalities alongside characters exclusive to the games, or including characters who are direct counterparts to each other, all of this contributes to a non-canon game featuring characters who are acting how they canonically would in their impossible situation.

Turning Red: Pokemon Edition
Eh, I'm not a fan of this team. There are too many Pokémon that rely on recovery to be able to stand a chance without having enough options to hit back.
For example, you have a Water/Fairy type like Azumarill or Primarina, and Mega Charizard X and Dragonite are done for.
Not a bad team, but one that could use some tweaking a bit.
