I've seen quite a few people be really perplexed by Sasha giving Marcy a hard time over her actions but while a tad hypocritical on Sasha's part I think it makes sense. Have to consider that, unlike Anne, Sasha didn't have the opportunity to go back home to see her loved ones. She doesn't have that same sense of security that Anne has in addition to the stress of leading a resistance by herself for that period of time.
@@noremac7216 I don’t even think she was manipulative, lying and manipulation is not the same thing. She lied, and I believe she did it bc she felt like a third wheel and felt like if she moved away, those two would forget about her. I relate to her deeply so maybe projection but that’s how I see it.

She lied about the music box, she lied about getting the music box so they could go back home. She did not manipulate others into doing her bidding like Sasha had. I guess u could say she manipulated them into getting the music box, because she “knew” it would not take them back home but even then, before she had even been given that offer to andrias she tried to help Anne get it back. That’s just my opinion, don’t get butt hurt just because not everyone likes what the manipulative gaslighting blonde did and prefer the lovable nerd character.

I rlly don’t see them as manipulating their friends because she’s not like Sasha. Sasha is aware it’s not what her friends want, but she selfishly believes it’s for the best for them. Whilst Marcy just really wanted to be with her friends and was willing to lie to them in order to stay with them forever. She did those things, for her own selfish reasons. I guess it’s hard to see her as manipulative because she just doesn’t seem as self aware and bitchy as Sasha does. In my eyes, Marcy didn’t see what she did as tricking and manipulative but at the same time they aren’t an idiot either. So eh, when I think about it more and decide to rewatch maybe I’ll come back to this 😁🤞

Ok so, basically the theory of Sasha losing something is probably happening because Darcy had that scythe and ready to cut Sasha and the credits is different because the song hit different it goes sad tone and 2 more episodes till The End book

I think they're airing it that late on Saturday because they want people to be mentally and emotionally prepared for what's about to happen. Also every time a show has an hour-long special that involves suspense or a serious cliffhanger it will always air at night for the same reason
Probably because they think little kids will be in bed by that time, since these last two episodes will likely be intense and more darker.

While that is true that it's a little hypocritical sure, I'm personally very glad she's holding a bit of a grudge against Marcy for what she did, because that means that the show isn't just gonna gloss over that what she did was still bad even if they came from good will, and just have her instantly redeemed due to her likeability.

God I really loved the last episode with Anne and Sasha they were so adorable together. I really liked seeing Sasha get angry at Marcy and later realize that Anne forgave her for everything she did. I’m really happy with Sasha and how fair she has come.
Why people thought they these two parts of this episode were going to be sad is because Matt tweeted on colors after the last episode before this one aired that that episode was the last fun episode.

So, something intresting i saw from when Marcy said "i can't help feel im forgetting something", in the core and king episode at the end, the thing core was plugged into that andris flipped apparently said "memory wipe" meaning they removed something from Marcy's memory

To be fair it was a completely proportionate reaction
let me make this clear that Marcy did not get them in Amphibia on "purpose" y'all listened to an EVIL KING and took his word for it. Marcy SCOFFED at the box's description, obviously being more logical then to believe in magic. But she is still a child, with dreams, who likes fantasy, and you know damn well that all have you have made a wish that if it came true, you MIGHT regret it but you STILL made that wish because YOU KNOW magic isn't real! That's like blaming a teenager for wishing on a star due to depression that their parents would disappear, and blame when it actually comes true even though NO ONE BELIEVES IN MAGIC and everyone wishes on stars! Marcy probably just thought the box was a nice sentiment, but also mixed with her dreams.
It probably would have made her emotionally feel better about things to get the box and it LOGICALLY not work, but guess what? It did work, but Marcy isn't magic, she didn't MAKE it work, she didn't KNOW it'd work. Why are y'all blaming someone for something you can't be logically blamed for??
It's what she did AFTER they go in Amphibia that she should be judged for. She manipulated them to not use the box for the King, and while she had good intentions ,which is something to note, it was a very bad thing to do. People shouldn't be ragging on Sasha either! She's under the stress of a war right now, so for the love of beans just let her words slide off your back because she doesn't mean it. She's stressed, angry, and has had to change and learn a lot. She's certainly not going to be perfect yet, so we can't give up on her and absolutely batsh*t hate her over a few adrenaline stress fueled words.
The show makes a point of stating that even if she didnt KNOW, she was HOPING for it. Thats still bad, she still took that gamble. Its MEANT to be bad, saying its smth shes in the innocent for takes away a lot of what her story is. Shes great because her mistake is something she genuinely wanted to happen and almost everyone watching can relate to it. Its what makes her such a brilliant character. Each to their own but personally, I think that taking away that choice as meaningful ruins a lot of why she works
Young Andrias and what he did with Leif and Barrel did cause the fighting between the frogs, newts, and toads. Also the Marcy sleepover scene was sad and it played her theme in the credits. Why the next episode is happening at night is because it is going to be a 48 minute episode and then on May 14 the final episode happens.
Darcy is one of those villains who I hate but can't *hate* if that makes sense

Yeahhhh. Sometimes fans can be too much. I'm overly invested with this show but I didn't cry, it's more like the episode give more about who Marcy is, her friendship towards the two and how she portray it in her eyes.
The fans got over excited and emotional about that reveal.
I've seen so many villains introduced this late who lack Darcy's presence; extremely well done by Braley

I agree, this was nowhere near True Colors. True Colors had the Marcy reveal from Andrias, Anne's powers awakening over thinking Sprig had been killed, and of course the assumption that Marcy was straight up dead.

Once this show ends, I wonder what’s the next cartoon that you’ll react to? I recommend trying out Kipo, Kid Cosmic, Centuarworld, or Monkie Kid as they’re all really great and underrated shows. Monkie Kid hasn’t properly ended yet while the others have.

There is a small Pepper Ann cameo in the ad. It’s extremely surprising but cool. I wonder if other Disney characters will appear now?
I really miss Marcy,she don't deserve that,nobody deserves this,i loved the episode,but is so sad see Marcy being ignored for her friends, must be hard see your friends ignored your's favorite things and you,i say that for experience,anyway

Well, since it appears we aren't gonna see Sasha and Marcy's parents, I'm comment this.
I had imagined an episode in which Sasha asked Maddie to perform a spell that allowed her to confront her traumas inside her mind in order to be a good leader. However, because those demons affected Sasha's mom too, her mother back on Earth would too fall in a deep sleep, sharing Sasha's dream, being forced to work with her daughter to beat their demons. Sasha's mom would be the reason why Sasha is the way she is. After the nasty divorce with Sasha's father (who would have tried to steal his wife's money), she would teach her daughter to become cold and unfeeling in order not to get hurt, but, to learn how to keep control over people, since the world demands people to have friends. The episode would end with the two of them defeating a demonic projection of the father by dancing together against him.
Regarding Marcy's parents...I really wasn't sure. All I knew is that they would find way to return and try to struggle to stay in the town, at least until their daughter returned.
I personally find it a high standard for any episode to reach the emotional levels of true colors. Maybe the next two episodes will meet it, but not this one.

I know I'm gonna get down voted for this but I gotta speak my piece:
I find it hilarious that people are mad at Sasha for being (rightfully) mad at marcy for ripping her away from her life and her loved ones all because she couldn't handle her own life problems at the time.
Like, let's be real, if we're REALLY gonna compare transgressions between sasha and marcy, then Marcy f****d up big time! And tbh, most of Sasha's transgressions wouldn't have happened if they DIDN'T go to amphibia. Yea she would still be a terrible human being, but all of the other bad things she's done wouldn't have happened.
I could go on and on, but my point is that Sasha has every right to be mad at marcy (even if it's hypocritical) and the people who are jumping down Sasha neck and saying "she can't talk" are insane...

this is why I hate hype, because of what I was told before hand I was really disappointed on my first watch of this episode, I recognise its still a good episode but definitely nowhere near true colours!

I had quite a gripe with this episode. Holy F with Sasha for putting so much blame on Marcy. Like rich coming from you a**hole for two whole seasons who did much worse.
Yes what Marcy did was terrible, but she had actually/genuinely good and understandable motives.
Sasha's just a douchebag with a rushed redemption. Yet she has the audacity to throw Marcy under the bus for not wanting to be sad and alone.

You said that you know what she did was terrible, but do you really understand HOW terrible her action is? She got her best friends TRAPPED in another world, she ripped them away from their loved ones didn't give THEM the choice to choose (yea she didn't know it would work but still), and she was going to continue to play dumb about the whole situation for God knows how long.
Let's also remember that when marcy got zapped to amphibia she said she was zapped into newtopia so she didn't have to experience the crap Anne and Sasha had to go through. Those girls could have DIED out there (but of course not because Disney) while she was out living her JRPG fantasies.

@@roo1014 don't get me wrong, it's perfectly fine if you feel that way about Sasha (she's DEFINITELY not everyone's cup of tea lol) I just feel like people completely dismissing her feelings while in the same breath, in a way, give marcy a pass for her mistake (with the way people word their defense for marcy, even if they say they know she did something bad, it still feels like they are excusing it to an extent) just seems... very silly to me lol

@@xempororhxppyx Showing guilt proves one isn't a complete a**hole, but that's not taking a step in self-improvement. She made no true attempts to be better until season 3 after she reads Anne's journal. And because we don't her until she's "redeemed," it's like she changed instantly after reading that journal. I'm glad she "redeemed" herself, but that plot line could've been handled much much better.
