Either Jesus was boastfully delusional, or He was indeed Almighty God🕊
    Jesus is Lord 🙌 🙌🙌

This video was very helpful in my understanding of objectivity. Thank you for making this!

Thank you so much for this video Mr. Wallace. I was presented with the flip side of this in a discussion with regard to whether there is anything that is truly right or wrong. It was subjectively asserted to me that there is no such thing as right or wrong, that what is right or wrong is strictly a person's opinion to decide. Therein was the flip side: instead of saying there are NO objective truths, this person was saying that ALL truths are subjective. So it was the same argument, but flipped back on me. Now I know how to flip it back and use your defensive arguments against this position.

If there is no objective truth, then sooner or later, anarchy will rule the day!

It’s not simply a question about truth but about how it matters. How it matters is that it is a question of who is the ultimate authority of morality. If man is the highest authority then there’s no higher authority to appeal to for injustice or the abuse of power. It’s not a truth question as much as it is an authority problem.

If man is the highest authority of morality, then there is no morality, because we are all created equal.
In fact, even in a caste system, or a feudal system, there are still people at the top that will fight for authority. So, who, among them, get to determine morality?

There is objective truth. The laws of nature don't change regardless of who observes them. Math is objective.

But how do we find out what an objective moral truth is in a situation? Can anyone help me with that?

We learn about the world around us to see how well our principles hold up. We also see if our enemies use the same principles and in what way.
Ultimately, though, we need a fixed destination to see where our principles take us. We also need a good set of guide lines.
Scripture helps us with all of that.

As far as I'm aware there is no objective standard without God. Moral relativism is a plague on our society. Moral relativists agree there is no right or wrong, but sure love using the law as a bludgeon when it suits them.
