I don't t known how to water slide yet, I'm learning but if I wanted to use a image on sticker paper instead can I use britetone over it as a final coat?
Thank you so much for this video and all of the rest you do! I'm learning so much from you. Quick question: Do you print your decal on a regular printer? Thank you! :)
Glitter glue still needs to be sealed with a top coat like brite tone since it dries tacky. Stealing glitter with glitter glue before brite tone just adds a protective layer between your brite tone and you glitter. That way when you begin to add your coats of Brite tone you won’t have any glitter fall out or glitter moving around . Hope this helps 😊
Thats was my initial thought on crystalac too lol but once I started using it, I was I realized how quick coats can be added. I simply set a timer every 4 hours and once it goes off I quickly go in my work room and add another coat... takes about 30 seconds to add each coat.
TYSMFS! I am working on one now. Is there a reason that you prefer to cut with scissors as opposed to your cutting machine? I haven’t cut mine yet so just wondering.
Great video!!! Can you do a video on how to do waterslides for pens? I’m thinking of doing stars on a pen any recommendations of what I can buy on Etsy
Thank you! Yes I can definitely do that. I purchased a file on Etsy that had so many pen designs. It was 290 pen designs for $2.53. The shop name was Aidesigngifts. & the file name was pen wrap svg bundle. I believe there’s star designs on there .
I've watched a lot of your videos and I feel like I'm learning so much from you! I love how you explain everything. Anyways why did you use Brite tone and then add glitter instead of mud podge? Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much! :) These type of comments mean so much to me! Im so glad you were able to learn from me. I used Brite Tone to adhere my glitter on this cup. Brite Tone can be use to add your glitter. Mod Podge dries very slow so glittering with Brite Tone has been my go to glittering method.
Unfortunately no. Acyrlic Paint has no bonding qualities. You want to have a good base coat that will bond with the type of cup your using. The Base Coat is the most important part of your cup.
Okay just making sure it wasn’t the matte one. Yes it the same. They put the pint size in a white container and the bigger sizes in a black container. But it’s the same 😊
thanks so much! yes that would.. prep the cup.. add a coat of brite tone & let that dry for 3-4 hours . you then can add the Waterslide and continue coating until it’s covered 😊
Thank you for this video. I'm new to crystalac and wanted to see how to do waterslide decals! Definitely learned something today 😊 Thank you again!
Thanks for your presentation
🥰
Beautiful! It would be nice to see the whole process of the Cricut design. Water slide design and the process is so cool!!!
Hey there! Beautiful cup! Do we continue to sand every 3 layers even after we put the water slide on?
thank you for sharing. i have been wanting to try bright tone
This is going to really help me begin a little side business because of the pandemic. Tysvm 🙏
You’re very welcome! So glad I can help ❤️
Beautiful cup. How do you know how many coats of Brite tone to put on?
Thank you for this!💕

Some of your videos you use glitter glue to adhere your glitter and some the brite tone. Is there a reason for when you use the different products?
What spray did you apply to the decal before applying it? I didn’t see any spray
Can I spray paint the water slides and store them for later or use immediately after spraying it??
Yes you definitely can spray paint them and store them 😊
can i use krylon triple thick clear glaze spray in place of E6000 spray?
Can I put the glitter on with epoxy and then use crystalac as the top coat? Also thank you for the great video!
Thank you so much for this video and all of the rest you do! I'm learning so much from you. Quick question: Do you print your decal on a regular printer? Thank you! :)
You’re very welcome 😊 yes I use a regular ink jet printer.
What kind of paint is the white? I usually spray.
Whats the difference in using glitter glue to seal vs brite tone?

What if the tumbler is white already I added waterslide and the waterslide was printed and sealed with restolum 2x clear I added to to cup
I’ve never considered Crystallac because of how many coats it take, but you have me wanting to try it.

How many coats does one take
Can you use spray paint for your tumblers ?
Yes . Just allow it to off gas for 48 if using epoxy free products
TYSMFS! I am working on one now. Is there a reason that you prefer to cut with scissors as opposed to your cutting machine? I haven’t cut mine yet so just wondering.
You’re welcome 😊 no real reason. Sometimes my machine won’t cut print then cut images for some reason. So I’d figured I’ll cut it myself lol

What is the working time between adding it to the tumbler and adding your glitter

@@MelissaCrafter thanks for responding and for the great idea.
can acrylic paint be brushed on for the base coat?

?? I have to to brite tone if there’s no glitter to use brite tone
Hi! I love your videos. If I put my water slide on a plastic cup and then did a few coats of the bright tone would that be okay?
thanks so much! yes that would.. prep the cup.. add a coat of brite tone & let that dry for 3-4 hours . you then can add the Waterslide and continue coating until it’s covered 😊
@@MelissaCrafter does it leave the tumbler smooth and sleek like epoxy does?
Yes definitely!
My tumblers never get shiny
