    FSD did fine, on a *very* *easy* drive with few other cars on the road.
    Maybe next time, a challenging drive thru a busy big city? Thanks!

    9:03 on the left we see fallen sign in middle of the road. What will be if it lay right in front of car? Does fsd will stop or drive around or will not see it? If you can do this test - it can be very intresting, because I heard that autopilot don't see such things and sometimes it causes crashes

    Safety more important than speed. Who care you make it a couple mins faster when full autonomy is achieved, we'll be watching TV, playing games or surfing the web.

      Haha Full Level 5 Autonomy is years away. Don't hold your breath.

    Don't compare FSD driving with your driving. Or you will never be happy with any autonomous car. This ride overall looked quite nice (yes, with some not so good stuff). But you sound like unhappy even in that nice and smooth situations.

      yea as he should be! you do realize you need this sort of scrutiny for a system thats called "full self driving" right? because other people's lives are in danger? this is a public road seriously wake up. and coming from Musk who claims Robotaxis are just around the corner. fact: Teslas crash the most out of any auto maker. wonder why?

      _Don't compare FSD driving with your driving_
      You can say that again! FSD is a simple minded Level 2 assistant that makes mistakes all the time.
      FSD is nothing like a human driver.

      FSD would be *amazing* ! If it worked as promised. But it does not work.
      FSD is supervised, which is a huge disappointment to people that paid big money for that feature.

    Latest FSD causes my model Y drive couple of inches away (side mirror) from parked cars!
    Still long way to go .

      FSD has 8 camera, GPS, AI and Neural Networks. But still, it makes mistakes every day. What a disappointment.

    Hey Himels Tech, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made.
    I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel

    Good test. I take it FSD was drifting into high speed traffic on that 3 lane road when you pushed it.

  • @ElectrifiedJourneys
    @ElectrifiedJourneys Месяц назад +1

    Actually, the FSD was exactly right how it stopped in front of the lines. That is the way you are supposed to do it. Do you think Tesla is going to teach the car to do a maneuver that could possibly get the owner a ticket? Nah, I really hate when people say that FSD drives better than most people, but in this case they do have a point. No need to be in such a rush and in places like Japan, the police will most definitely pull you over for not stopping correctly. Maybe that's why it does that. FSD is for the other countries as well.

    • @himelstech
      @himelstech  Месяц назад

      Fair point. If we're talking specifically about the lines on a 4-way stop, I think the trouble is that sometimes it will make one full stop behind the line, then creep up past the line, then stop again, then move forward. It's very un-natural.

      So I went to the Tesla store and I'm looking to upgrade to a new model drove FSD for the first time within an 8 Mile Drive I took control of the vehicle three times reflecting on the three times I took control of the vehicle I came to the realization that I am an extremely cautious driver

    • @bubbaknowsstuff
      @bubbaknowsstuff Месяц назад

      Most people that Tesla is getting information from on FSC must live in big cities and have a much more aggressive style of driving so I think the car looks at the traffic and says I can make it this is a very fast car just hold on

  • @mariusmeyer14
    @mariusmeyer14 Месяц назад

    It's noticed that you are comfortable with the vehicle being aggressive. Other content creators are more conservative because of the aggressive law enforcement in their towns / States. I think Tesla should Geo tag their training data to create an 'Local driver' behaviour for FSD.

    • @AltairIV9
      @AltairIV9 Месяц назад

      I thought of something like the model being trained to do well in any situation but driving like the car’s owner, so it would be more personal.

    so bright sunny day, easy wide roads, speed was weird, 1 almost near curb slam, and 1 disengagement in TWENTY MINUTES! lol. Do you tesla fans not realize this thing is still a deathtrap? it would need to get to perfect driving it for a week to even come close to a human, and thats in easy conditions. try this at night in boston when its raining. saying a robotaxi is coming out in august is just an insult.
