Very helpful video. I was holding my breath for you the whole time you were on fsd! Must take a little bit getting used to and of faith and letting go!
Great video. Seems like the second tier isn’t as valuable as the first and third. The first, being free, does a decent enough job of navigating a single lane on the highway, while the second tier does about the same on the highway but just changes lanes for you for $6,000. The FSD appears to be the real deal but with a very hefty price tag.
Ditto! Doesn't justify the price tag for partial navigation only on highways where you are as such not changing so much wish FSD was little more reasonable
I'm considering advanced auto pilot after watching your video. Great, BTW. Had a windshield replaced at a Tesla dealership, and was given a 30 day trial of FSD? No a fan yet :) (2019 Model S)
Great vid, thx. I am driving the model 3 2023 for almost a year now. I have enhanced autopilot (EAP) installed. There is still no update for self parking and smart summon in Europe (Netherlands). This version relies on Tesla Vision so has no radar sensors. With heavy rain the cameras get blocked or give a muddy view. Before parking, I then have to get out and clean the camera. Does not happen very often though. FSD is according to my experience still very far away because of the frequent gost breaking. When in a new environment and there are cars close behind I usually switch of EAP. Gost breaking occurs usually at the same location (MAX is switched back to a lower km/h for no visible reason). Don't misunderstand me, this is a great car that drives very comfortable. But there are quirks......
Absolutely, the Tesla Model 3 2023 with Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) has some incredible features, but it seems like there are still a few challenges, especially in terms of the self-parking and smart summon updates in Europe. The reliance on Tesla Vision without radar sensors does have its limitations, especially in heavy rain affecting the camera view. The intermittent ghost braking can indeed be unsettling, especially in new environments or when cars are close behind. Great video - easy to understand and explained some important features. It looks like Autopilot (AP) and Enhanced AP (EAP) were activated while driving (single pull-down of 'shifter' for AP and a double pull-down for EAP (for a total of 3 pull-downs)). However, you activated the FSD function while at a stand still also using the double pull-down process. Can FSD be activated while you're already on the road driving? If so, how is this accomplished if EAP was activated with the double pull-down function of the shifter?

FSD primarily relies on the internal camera, but you still need to give a slight nudge to the steering wheel. It appears that whenever you divert your attention from the road, even for a moment to adjust the radio, it triggers a beep.
One thing I'm asking myself: Where I live, we have a lot of intersections where it would be a green light to go forward, but a red light to take a left. You need to take a left, would the Tesla know that it's a red light for turning left or would it get confused by the going forward green light?
Great video! Just the explanation I was looking for. My current vehicle has the same standard autopilot feature where it stays in the lane and speeds up/slows down depending on the car ahead. My car beeps and will disengage autopilot after about 20 seconds if your hands are not on the wheel. Does the Tesla do that with any of the features in your video or can you keep your hands on your lap the entire time?

Enhanced autopilot and basic auto pilot the only difference right now is auto change lane the rest on enhanced autopilot are not available so don't waste your 6k
There is no difference because neither work when you live outside of North America. At best it’s adaptive cruise with lane assist…. when it isn’t panicking over shadows, hills, bends, trees, nothing whatsoever….
Excellent video but without regard to the technical abilities of the different modes, Elon is smoking way more than MJ! FSD is a $12,000 option (as of 10/2023) and myth that will get you killed and Enhanced Auto Pilot is $6000.00 option that offers little more than turn signal lane change. I am a 2023 Tesla Model Y owner and I LOVE my car but these fees for this tech that Tesla is trying to sell is the definition of utter stupidity! FSD, should it EVER be viable might be worth $5K. The Enhanced Auto Pilot should be standard equipment. Even with the standard AP in my 2023 AP, I ‘ve had phantom braking on multiple occasions. This tech isn’t ready for prime time.

There is no difference because neither work when you live outside of North America. At best it’s adaptive cruise with lane assist…. when it isn’t panicking over shadows, hills, bends, trees, nothing whatsoever….
How did you get it to go into autosteer and not play that awful sound ?
does the summon feature works witin inside a shopping mall parking space? pin me pls coz i want to be special

Agree, Enhanced Auto Pilot should definitely be standard
