I like both, I like how the EN VA is portraying Firefly as someone who's willing to live the next day, but I think the screaming can be toned down abit, it can kinda hurt my ear abit, JP Firefly managed to balance out the aggressive part better with calmness, the calmness is subtle but you can still hear her desperation to live

@@gaijinsenpai7714 nah, imo just how aggressive the English is makes it leagues better than every other language, combined with me also just preferring her EN voice. It doesn't matter whether I understand them, Hoyo just generally has an extremely good track record with EN VAs.

@RMX7777 if you paid attention in all of her fights Firefly doesn't fight in anger she is calm and calculative you forget she was made as a weapon, and she also assures Silverwolf that she doesn't rush head on, you're ignoring the lore of her completely and if you actually knew her character you would realise your statement is a load of crap.

Yeahh screaming isn't good voice acting and doesn't suit how calm Firefly is shown, JP easily it isn't even close.
Did you watch her trailer? She definitely isn't calm and collected when fighting for her life. EN voice lines are on point.
@RMX7777 what trailer are you referring to lol because none of them show her with anger, you forget that even when fighting us she remained calm her main goal was never changed she wanted to recover Trailblazer even when fighting Acheron she remained calm, Analesa just did what she wanted just like half of the eng dub voice actors, CN is the main source of the character and she didn't scream like a banshee. Even when everyone died against the swarm she never screamed or anything she reached into her soul and brought forth new power and destroyed what remained, she is destruction she isn't a berserker.

@mpmp5086 no she doesn't she builds it up instead of just pure screaming her intensity increases throughout the line.
@mpmp5086 it's calm until the final line which is tameni, whilst ikiru is more calm as if she is talking from her soul itself. Instead of "FIGHT TO LIVE!!!!" in one full screamed sentence whereas it should be "Fight..TO LIVE! or if we translate Jp to English it should technically be "In order..TO LIVE! Put simply Analesa puts too much energy into her when that is far from what it should be.

Hsr English voices are top tier i even think some are better than the jp, here in english you can hear the resilience in her voice like she’s about to start her last battle
