How crazy would it be if Congalala isn't in the game, it's the monster material trading thing from monster hunter 4, where you get parts but not the fight, could be a cool thing to get monster stuff that they didn't want to add the monster to the game. Only issue with the theory is idk if I would use congalala as the teaser for that
Yeah it’s possible, but considering it would be a weird choice of monster to show that off like you said, and the the game already has a jungle area for it to appear in, it just being in the game seems more likely
Gonna point out again that quematrice has the same skeleton as Duramboros (in terms of body shape along with liking to swing their tails around)

Something i want out of Wilds is an upgrade to Buddy Rally. With the Pack mechanic and wide zones, I want to be able to tame small monsters in some way
Same, I would love a large variety of buddies and the ability to recruit them more consistently, for example when hunting a deviljho and the buddies get one shot so I have to go find a new one
So, maybe a new tool with cooldown could be really cool
I'm even more hyped than ever now that MH Wilds has an official release date, but at the same time I'm scared because my 20th birthday (January 28th) is literally a month before MH Wilds releases. Man I wish I could stay a teenager forever, but I can't.

Me too. I love and wish the devs did more monsters like this, based of old legends. Because this monster, the Quematrice, is based off of the Cockatrice. A Greek monster that was half-chicken, half-lizard or dragon. It could spit acid and/or fire.
Arkveld kind of reminds me of Fatalis: An actual monster, rather than an animal.
It's wild (pun intended) how much progress this game has made in such a short time I can't wait for it's release 🔥

Quematrice is probably pronounced Kema-(as is chemical)-trice. It's based off the spanish word for burn, quemar.
The quema in Quematrice is Spanish in origin, so the que is pronounced exactly like the letter K. Just like you'd say queso.
Im sure this horse has veen beaten but its Khe-ma-Treece from "burn" in spanish "quemar" and from cockatrice the chicken lizard.
Also rathian is confirmed the hammer is rathians
It’s just occurred to me that congas exist and they could totally pull a rise, having the small monster version and not the big. The fact that the dual blades is basic bone sorta confirms it more for me. Hopefully I’m wrong tho 🤞

At 0:25, in this video, the hunter seems to use something akin to a wirebug, or the wedge beetles from World, although you can't actually see what they're attached to - its just out of shot. Sneaky!
Wonder if you can use your not-actually-a-clutch-claw to grab on to flying endemic life or small flying monsters?

I haven't seen this talked about much anywhere, but... the Rey Dau vs Arkveld fight looks absolutely DOPE!!! Like we see Ark use its chains and Rey lock it down with one of his wingarms, releasing a thundershock, and then Rey does like a aerial dodge to avoid the other whip, and... IF that's how the actual Turf War looks, I'm sold. (Not sure how much more "sold" one can be, seeing I already pre-ordered the deluxe edition, when I rarely even pre-order games, and have never bought a enhanced edition game before... but you know, vibes ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥)
